Well as you guys can tell… yes.. Yes I did turned myself into my fav show of all time and childhood one!! LETS GOOO TURTLE POWER! It’s funny how I revisited my childhood cartoons, especially TMNT 2012’s first two seasons. I couldn’t access the later ones, but I remember drawing myself as a turtle mutant back then! 😀
I really had a lot of fun working on this design! At first, I wanted to make it look more ninja-like, but then I reconsidered: well I’m not a ninja… I would rather look like a survivor from Eastern Europe! 👁👁
So I completely scrapped the ninja idea look and redid the design - not only to add little traditional details from my country Romania yet also implement my faith in Christ in it as well! Can you guess the meaning behind this? 👀✨

Mitsuko’s story is a bit tragic because while the kraang attacked everything she ever loved (her family, friends and home) was taken away from her. This led her into a deep mourning and pain, not understanding why God allowed this to happen. Overtime God became her number one in her life, the only one that never forsaken her. That’s when she truly understood that He is all she needs. God blessed her in the end with a new family and friends who fight besides her for the Lord.
Sometimes we go through the same things like Job who lost everything he had and yet in these moments, you realize where your heart is. Is God truly the center of your heart/ life or did we turn other people/ objects into our idols? Sometimes God allows pain and suffering to redirect our eyes on him and understand that He is the one that we need. Remember, the things of this world will come pass, but the word of God and the Lord will stand. Yes, loving our friends and family is a good thing, but we need to love God even more. When Jesus returns what will matter is how we lived and if we had a true relationship with Him.
(“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalms 139:23-24)

As you can tell, I couldn’t help not to prepare for ArtFight with some wholesome Summer theme art with my ocs/songs as well >:)
You guys know me, I CANNOT! CANNOT stop myself from doing things over the top so that’s pretty much what I DID! AGAIN! Hey, IS SUMMER DON’T JUDGE ME! I LOVE SUMMER AND THE SEA! And, it is my first time in ArtFight so why not make a good impression? Huh? Am I right or am I wrong? 👀
Anyway, this was such a fun time to draw my ocs once again since this year of college had literally stopped me from doing any kind of personal art, however, I was finally able to rest with God’s help and finish the first year of art school torture 🥲🫡
Maybe some of you might wonder and realize that some of my ocs look… slightly different or the word “slightly” is a bit said*ahem* Let’s just SAY my ocs had gone through a second puberty this year or I did overall with my style too 💀👌🏼✨
TO BE HONEST, I REALLY CAN’T BELIEVE THAT I DREW THIS- I still can’t believe how much God helped me improve! 🥹🤍💖
I’m just so happy with how much God helped me improve and surely I didn’t realize until I drew my ocs again and saw God’s hand over me, not just through art but maturity as well. Sometimes we need to go through fire and pain to see the mistakes or things that harm us in life and let go in order to get closer to the Lord! Who knows? In what way God can use me and you as well to spread the word of God even in this yearly art challenge?

But hey- idk about you guys but this look of my ocs/ so as really looks like a dating sim- no joke (except PatternWing obviously)*. NOW I’m questioning what if this was an actual look of a dating sim….. Would you guys play it? 👁👁
