Now that you mention it, I can imagine that guy being somewhat of a troll using dreams and makes strange and bizarre noises.
Random Person 1: *eyes distant* I saw in my dreams creatures out of this world, their bodies born out of a twisted mind, sculpted by gods as their way to punish and tell nightmares from the abyss. Their sounds threaten to have me on my knees and beg The Almighty to silence the noises of those around me for good.
Random Person 2: *whispering* How awful! The poor soul must be traumatized. Truly, what he saw and heard must have been terrifying...

I was listening to The Milk Carton by Madilyn Mei, and I fully realized, this is Sameise Gamgee’s song.
From the entire message of leaving home and being terrified yet enthralled, to the messages about seeing things only heard of in stories and realizing the true intensity of them, and trying your best to stay there for the one you support, and that knowledge that even if you do return home somehow, it will never be the same. Even the lines of “You can still win, just gotta be faster” falls into the reassurance for Frodo. Hell, even the “Something tells me kid never learned to swim, can I do anything when i’m also drowning?” fits Sam’s entire internal conflict SO FUCKING WELL??? I have no idea if this was intentional or if i’m reading WAYYYY too far into this, but please tell me what you all think!!

Their names are Lalwë & Rayë. They're twins and I have a doc full of notes about their whole life stories that i might share at some point.
the writing isn't a canonical script, just gibberish. I'm using it as an Avari script. It spells: Khintarwe, Khindorwe. Khin means here or now, tar means to stand with connotations of nobility, dor means to dwell or abide, or land, or firmness, and -we is a plural pronoun. In short, it means, here we stand, here we stay. It's the Avari's general response to Oromë's invitation to Valinor: no thanks, Eru put us here and this is where we are meant to be.

This mf if older than the moon, older than Finwë, older than the Journey... Oromë first stumbles on the elves when this guy is already an adult, ok? This Erestor has been hunting dragons in Middle Earth since before Fëanor was even born. He's founded and overthrown Avari kingdoms that no one's even heard of by the time he rocks up in Rivendell. He has 20 something different names because that's how much language has evolved during his lifetime. Erestor is and absolute fucking badass and I will not stand his uwuification for a single second longer >:(
