Hey peeps! ◡̈⋆(●’◡’●)ﾉ I don't know if I should draw this in game train scene. I don't really draw backgrounds sooo... What do you all think, ye or nah? ✨

Don't you just hate it when the train is late? or the fact that the train itself gawks at all the female passengers when it does finally show up?
Summer days come to an end, time of sand and sun spent with friends. Now comes the days of fall, with books and belts in school halls. Memories of summer drift threw our hands, as the legion of pumpkins begins to rise through the lands.
(A background for something else I'm working on, don't you just hate it when the train is late?)
just a sweet little scene I saw at the train station the other day...

Some context for the image under the cut:
It was common for Pokemon and items to slip through the space-time distortions. What made this occasion memorable was that an entire train station platform slipped through during the night.
Akari went to investigate when she heard the report. Despite it being early in the morning, she wasn't the first one to arrive. Ingo was there, sitting on a bench, deep in thought.
"Hey, Ingo," Akari greeted as she sat down beside him, cradling her sleeping Rowlet, "Are you waiting on a train?"
"Good morning, Miss Akari," Ingo said, blinking as if waking from a dream. "I'm afraid no trains will be coming into the station today. The tracks stop after a point, uncoupling this station from its sister stop."
"Maybe they'll be reconnected one day? After we sort out this whole space-time distortion stuff."
"That would be the most favorable outcome, yes."
Ingo relapsed into his thoughts, a shadow cast over him. A hush fell over the trio.
When the sun rose far enough into the sky to burn away some of the fog hanging around the station, Ingo finally stood up and readjusted his worn out hat.
"Let's prepare for departure, Miss Akari! It's an excellent day to make tracks in your journey."
"Yes, let's!" Akari sprang up, eager to start the day.
I use to like riding the metro around the city with with no predetermined destination.
Random scenes from "Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki, 2001)" that has the ocean in it that I liked, thank you.
during spring break i got to visit a wonderful place that was a train station turned bookstore. it felt very cozy and welcoming and you could just get lost in there for hours. i highly recommend it if you’re ever in the area- alnwick, england. plus, it seems most of the books are second hand and quite cheep (i got four books for £23)!

Union Station#9 ,11" x 14" oil on wood. A 2019 oil painting of Union Station, one of the main stations in Ontario Canada during its never ending construction cyles lol. Interestingly since painting this piece they’ve added a new skyscraper in the background and a part of the station in the painting has been demolished and reconstructed.
I can probably repaint this exact composition and have it look like different painting which is one of the things I like about the subject I work with, it changes quite a bit over time.

First paint through of this piece. It's another Wilson station painting and it's only a coincidence that two pieces are the same station lol. (Subway station in Toronto Canada) This first stage is generally to get base colours down and get a general light direction. Drawing errors get fixed in this stage.

Union Station #8 2018. Oil on Wood 10" x 8" an earlier piece from 2018, generally I use the smaller pieces to test things out and with this one I wanted to see how texture changed the overall painting. I like the texture in the cool sky but I think it was a little too strong in comparison to the rest of the painting.
I think overall I think the painting was succesful and a great learning experience.

“Rosedale Station #2” it’s based on a subway station in Toronto Canada. Had a lot of fun painting this especially when I finish the left wall with the hard shadow/light contrast.
Postcard print of this painting is available in my shop. highly recommend ordering things early because I predict shipping times will be wild this holiday period. :)

As mentioned before this triptych and a few other paintings are a collaboration project with The Gladstonhouse where a few selected artist get to showcase there work in individual rooms️.:) The Gladstone has been part of the Toronto Art community for decades and am exicited to have my work be part of it.

One of the painting studies that I showed at TOAF earlier this month. This is my third time being at this awesome show and can't wait for it to get started. The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair has been going on strong for 60 years and this year they'll have an online portion and small scale in person show
