But, asdfghjkl!! I’ve thought so long and hard about this photoset since I’ve found it. It just looks so magical, if that makes sense? The atmosphere, lighting, colors, motions and expressions just perfectly portray all that needs to be said, and every time I look at the art, I feel literal shivers, it’s that amazing.

The story you added, with everyone being there to see Katsuki’s surprise and watch as he stands in shock, rushing forward to reunite with a long lost friend. It’s amazing how you subtly reference their falling out, how it happened because Katsuki was still too fragile and lasted because both were too stubborn to go back to each other. The little details you add: everyone calling to Katsuki as he runs, the old bracelet Kariage still wore years later, how you can almost feel the scene of two friends reuniting like nothing ever happened.

I love this, so freaking much.

Do you guys know that fanart of Bakugou being in the train and as he looks outside the window he sees Kariage lighting a cigarette at one of the stops? 

First of all I think about it every day.

But second of all… What’s the story? I want it, I need it.

Just… Imagine if his classmates were with him on the train, they were all standing next to him, talking and laughing in the cold winter night, and Katsuki is tired, he’s ready to go the fuck to sleep, he can barely keep up with the conversation and so he’s just gazing out the window.

Suddenly, the train slows down, the outside which was blurry just seconds ago suddenly coming into focus.

Katsuki ignored the way the conversation around him stilled as he gasped, feet moving forward until he was stood before the window, head tilting to the side as he desperately tried to keep his eyes on him. 

Because it was him, there was no one else that it could’ve been, and Katsuki would never not recognise him, no matter how long it’d been since they’d last spoken.

It had been a while, though. Since Kariage had come over after the Sludge Villain, when Katsuki was still broken, still fragile and haunted by the memories of what had happened, and for the first time… They argued. They yelled and threw insults until their throats hurt and Kariage left with hurt in his gaze. 

Their own stubborness stopped them from talking again.

But he was there, now. Right fucking there with the same haircut, same type of cigarette between his lips and the shitty, worn-out bracelet Katsuki had given him years ago still around his wrist.

“Bakugou? You alright, man?” He heard someone ask, but it didn’t matter. They didn’t matter.

All that was important was that he get the fuck off the damn train.

Soon he got the chance.

The second the doors slid open he ran through his group of friends, ignoring their yells and the calls of his name as he ran towards him.

As if he could sense him, Kariage turned around, their eyes finally meeting as he withdrew the cigarette and, with a smirk, blew the smoke out to the side.

“Hey, Katsuki.”

And Katsuki couldn’t help it. He smiled.

if katsuki’s cheeks spark when he’s flustered, does kariage’s ears smoke when /he/ is?

asdfghjk I am looking at this so freaking hard. Like, the cheek sparking thing is not going to be canon in my version of the ‘verse, but the absolute ingeniousness of having Kariage’s ears literally fucking smoke when Katsuki’s being far too cute for his own good?? Immaculate.

Like?? Imagine Kariage literally fucking smoking when Katsuki does anything. Katsuki wears Kariage’s huge ass hoodies? Katsuki curls up in a little ball when he’s sleeping? Katsuki training or working out his backyard? Katuki initating hugs and kisses? Katsuki smiling? Katsuki existing? This all results in Kariage getting so flustered that his ears start smoking and he coughs out smoke, and it’s the cutest, most unexpected thing ever.

Nnnnnnn, I’ve thought so much on how Aizawa would react to Kariage dating Katsuki, and I’ve got a general idea outlined for the official ‘verse, but goddamn, I love the idea of Kariage and Aizawa despising each other.

Like, Aizawa’s just over here trying to protect his pseudo son and keep him away from bad influences that could corrupt him. Then, along comes this delinquent, embodying everything that could hurt Katsuki in the long run, and Aizawa’s on edge, immediately. So, obviously, he decides to make it known to this two-bit thug that Aizawa will ruin his life if he so much as thinks about hurting Katsuki.

On Kariage’s end, I love the idea of him liking that Katsuki has people who love and support and care about him, but, God. Would it kill people to look past appearances and actually understand that Kariage would never hurt Katsuki? And, like, that frustration and annoyance and pettiness just keeps on building up, so when someone important to Katsuki finally speaks up about his concerns, it boils over.

And, I freaking adore how casual and shameless Kariage is - even though he knows he should really be respectful - spouting innuendos when Aizawa’s just over here trying to give a shovel talk asdfghjkl <33

Kariage finds it both amusing and only a tiny bit insulting. He’s happy that Katsuki has someone that cares about him so much, he is, but he can’t help but find Aizawa’s threats and speeches absolutely hilarious. But at the same time he just wants to tell him to fuck off cause he wouldn’t dare hurt Katsuki, he would never, so why the fuck is this old man bothering him so much? Thinking that Kariage would actually do anything to upset Katsuki? Ridiculous.

But then Aizawa comes up to him and goes on a rant, “I swear to fucking God, if you step out of line I will not hesitate to punch you. I’m an underground hero, I’m good at hiding my tracks, no one would even know. You better take care of him.”

And Kariage knows he should be polite, he knows he should say something like ‘Of course, Aizawa Sensei, I will protect him with my life,’ but what comes out instead is “Oh, don’t worry,” he smirks and leans in closer, “I’ll take very, very good care of him.”

!!!!! God, I already loved touch-starved Katsuki - the fact that you’re making me straight up adore it is magnificent. LIke?? Of course Kariage thinks Katsuki is asolutely stunning, 100% feels like the best person on Earth when he remembers that he’s the only one allowed to hug and kiss and love Katsuki so gently.

But, the fact that he loves being close to Katsuki not because of how happy it makes him feel, but because it makes Katsuki feel good? How, no matter how much Kariage loves on him, Katsuki reacts like he’s never been touched before - shivering and trembling and blushing, completely forgetting everything but their little bubbles of reality? I love to see it <33

Kariage needs to be touching him at all times.

It’s not just the fact that his boyfriend is beautiful and stunning, it’s not even about the fact that he feels privileged to be the only one that gets to touch him in this gentle way, it’s because of the way Katsuki reacts.

He swears it’s like the boy has never been touched by anyone in his life. Every time he holds his hand Katsuki’s face blushes all pink and pretty. Whenever they’re in bed and he’s gently trailing his fingertips over Katsuki’s back the blond shivers and trembles and gets goosebumps all over his body. Whenever he kisses him it’s like Katsuki gets completely lost in the moment, he makes him feel as if they’re all that matters in the world.

dafsgsdhjs I’ve reread this about twenty times and it keeps getting better. Like, every time I go back to the beginning of this, it somehow gets more funnier? I freaking love this.

Aizawa being overprotective with it comes to his pseudo-son?? Him immediately giving Kariage the side eye because how can he trust such a delinquent around his model student of a kid?? Katsuki just being so oblivious about the tension between Kariage and Aizawa?? Aizawa giving Kariage a serious shovel talk and Kariage turning about and calling him old man and calling Katsuki a precious little princess?? Aizawa reigning in his frustration and urge to punch Kariage becuase he recognizes that this is one of Katsuki’s only friends?? Him immediately having regrets about allowing Katsuki to be around Kariage when he finds out that they’re MORE than friends???? THIS is utter fucking perfection, this is the reason I live, and the fact that this exists makes my life 500% better <33

Undercut-kun and Katsuki da- I mean Aizawa? How would that go? 👀

Honestly? I think that Aizawa would hate Kariage at first, like he would pull Katsuki to the side after he meets him and he’d go ‘Are you sure? Like... That’s who you wanna hang out with? Please reconsider, I love you but you’re an idiot and I will not hesitate to punch you in the face.’ All the while Kariage is just standing a few feet away behind Katsuki, looking straight at Aizawa and giving him a little wave before he smirks and pulls out a cigarette. Aizawa has to close his eyes to stop himself from actually harming a teenager.

Meanwhile, Katsuki is completely and utterly oblivious as to why Aizawa is even acting concerned and he has no idea about the amount of tension between him and Kariage. He’s just trying not to smile while being like ‘can’t believe they finally met and they love each other, this is the best day of my life :D.’

Aizawa later talks to Kariage and tells him to be careful with the way he behaves around his so-student, his student because he doesn’t want this delinquent corrupting him in any way, shape or form.

But Kariage just waves him off and rolls his eyes, ‘yeah, yeah, old man, get off my back, I’d never hurt the precious little princess.’

Aizawa’s temples throb.

Fucking... princess? He’s going to punch him, he just knows he is.

But he leaves it alone and he moves on, he can’t force Katsuki to leave his friend behind, especially when he knows how hard it is for the kid to make friends in the first place. And he can’t deny that he looks really relaxed around that.... boy.

It’s not until Katsuki brings him to the dorms and Aizawa walks into the common room only to find Katsuki straddling the guy while they make out that he realizes they’re not just friends.

asdfghjkl I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really have words to describe how much I freaking love this. Like, I knew distantly that you were writing a fic, but I was not prepared for the greatness you wrote. I actually cried, literal tears fell out my eyes, I was this close to sobbing. You’re writing style fit so freaking well for this story, and it just tied everything together in a prefect little package.

The part where Katsuki begins to worry about whether Kariage would want to stay with him - an embarrassment, a wild animal, a villain - and everything after practically tore my heart to shreds. How you describe Katsuki walking home after the festival, hiding to keep people from seeing his face was absolutely heartbreaking. The way Katsuki acknowledges that baths make him feel good enough that Kariage gave him stuff to make him happy, but thinks that he doesn’t deserve something like that after the Sports Festival, instead taking a shower so cold it piractically hurts? That’s where I really started to cry.

And, when he curls up with Kariage in bed and just starts sobbing? Yeah, I got shivers reading it. And, the atmosphere of the story when Kariage is comforting Katsuki felt so real, so personal, that I actually had to take a break in reading becuase I was feeling it. Feeling the hurt and desperation and love and validation, and, yeah, by the end of it I was full out sobbing. It was absolutely perfect, and I’m so freaking thankful that you decided to share it, because it was simply amazing. <33

‘카리캇‘ is the Korean ship name and it phonetically sounds out Ka - Ri - Kat. This is, of course, the combination of Kariage, the name the Japanese fandom gave Undercut-kun, and Katsuki.

Now, before we go on to the Japanese ship names, I’m gonna explain Kariage’s name. Technically, Kariage isn’t actually a last or first name, it’s a descriptor. Because of his undercut, Japanese fans dubbed him 刈り上げ, or Kariage, which is a noun that means close-cropped hair or harvesting.

刈り爆, or KariBaku, is the combination of the first kanji and hiragana of Kariage and the first kanji for Katsuki’s surname. 刈り勝, or KariKatsu, is exactly the same, however, it uses the first kanji for Katsuki’s given name, instead.

Okay, can I just say that I freaking love outsider POV, especially when it comes to secret relationship fics?? Something about is just so chef’s kiss, I don’t know why, but it is.

Kariage and Katsuki’s secret meetings to get pierced and no one knowing where Katsuki’s going, who he’s going with, and why he’s going? Perfect, I love it. Plus, I adore the idea of 1A seeing the two of them interact and having no idea what to do or how to react. I mean, Kariage positively radiates Big Bad Boy energy - he’s wearing ripped jeans and leather, got painted nails and a shit ton of piercings, and it’s obvious he’s a smoker. And the fact that he gets away with calling Katsuki his given name and some cutesy petname?? The class is confused and livid.

asdfghjkl I LOVE obviously possessive Kariage who smugly shows off his boyfriend to a simultaneously jealous and enraged 1A - it’s amazing. Also, you own my heart for having Katsuki get nipple piercings, that’s one of my favorite HCs and I feel like it’d 100% happen at some point with Kariage knowing influence.

Ok I just gotta say that pov outsider is highkey one of my fav things too.

No one really knows about how close they are and their little tradition with the piercings, not even Izuku. No one knows that they call each other and straight away they go to some shady location and get something pierced. All they know is that every once in a while Katsuki will disappear and when he comes back his clothes is all ruffled, his lips are red and there’s a new piercing somewhere on his body.

They find out about it when the class is out at the mall one day. They’d just gotten dropped off and so they’re still all together in one location. But just as they’re about to separate and go off in different directions they hear a deep and raspy voice calling out Katsuki’s name.

At first they think Katsuki will blow up, explode and yell cause no one calls him by his first name, but then they look at him and he’s fucking smiling and he’s walking towards someone before they... hug? What the fuck?!

They’re watching as Katsuki holds onto this damn... delinquent. This stranger with his stupid messy hair and shitty undercut and his leather jacket and ripped jeans and the cigarette behind his ear and all they can think about is how much of a cliche bad boy he is but he still somehow makes it look good.

They also notice all the piercings covering his ear and his face, as well as the black nail polish he has on. They don’t know if they have a crush on the dude or if they want to punch him cause he’s so damn close to Katsuki.

They accidentally overhear them talking, the Undercut dude speaking in low tones, “wanna go get something else done, kitty Kat?”

And first of all, how dare he? None of them are allowed to call him sweet nicknames! How come he gets to call him that? And second of all... What the fuck is he even talking about?

But they don’t even have time to think about it cause before they know it Katsuki is nodding excitedly and waving back at them as he walks off.

To make matters worse Undercut turns towards them and winks as he throws his arm over Katsuki’s shoulders.

And when Katsuki comes back and tells them he got another piercing which they can fucking see on his damn nipple through the stupid tight tank-top he’s wearing all they can think about is how they hate the undercut guy.

Just - every bit of this is absolute perfection. Like?? Them just thinkin about each other as good friends then BAM!! the Gay(tm) hits them good.

Bakugou falling first is my absolute favorite thing in the world, because it kinda makes sense?? I mean, this boy doesn’t do anything by halves - if he falls in love, he falls hard and he falls fast.

I also just really love the fact that he fell in love with Kariage when it was just the two of them, if that makes sense?? Like, it was their own personal bubble of reality - it was quiet, just the two of them, the sun was setting, and they were just being themselves. Then, Kariage lights his cigarette - something he’s done hundreds of times, why’s this time so different?? - and the dam breaks, and Katsuki finally realizes.

And, my God, the little details - Kariage being an artist, the wind ruffling his hair, Kariage’s eyes being chocolate brown, the sneaky little glances that all baby gays can related to?? Impeccable, astounding, I love it.

I freaking adore the idea of Kariage Quirk going out of control and him having a coughing fit when he first realizes Katsuki’s, like, insanely strong and attractive. Also, Kariage being the absolute bestest friend and bringing Katsuki his homework and notes - then seeing Katsuki be so freaking soft and just falling?? Perfection.

Plus, 5000 bonus points for crop top and big hoodie Katsuki, bakugou with back dimples, and amazing mutual pining!!! You never cease to amaze me with your brain ideas <33

Ooh, what abt Undercut-kun and Bkg being eachother's gay awakening? :P

Yes, yes, yes.

Katsuki didn’t really expect it to happen. He’d always been really relaxed around Kariage, he’d allowed himself to be calm and he considered him a genuine friend and he’d never looked at him like that.

So it comes as a bit of a shock when he looks at him one day and his entire mind just goes ‘Ah, right, okay, fuck.’

It happens when they’re at Kariage’s place one day. 

His parents weren’t home for the weekend and so Katsuki was able to come over for once. It was close to dark, the sun was just setting. They’re just in Kariage’s room, silent, only speaking every once in a while when Katsuki lifts his phone to show him a meme or a video, in the meantime Kariage is sitting on his windowsill, leaning against the wall with a sketchbook against his knees; the window is slightly open, letting in a cool breeze and making Kariage’s hair sway in the wind as he draws. 

And then he lights a cigarette. 

Katsuki hated those things, he hated the way they smelled, the way he could see cigarette butts all over the ground, the way they could potentially get him into trouble, but he knew Kariage only smoked cause of his quirk, to strengthen it and to use smoke more efficiently and so he didn’t really care if he did it in the privacy of his own room. But he never thought it would be... Attractive. He must’ve been tired or some shit cause as he watched while Kariage lifted a hand and shielded the lighter while he lit the cigarette, all he could think about was how hot he looked with his shitty dark hair, dark clothes and the sunset behind his head, golden hour illuminating his face and making his black-looking eyes show their true colour - dark chocolate brown. Katsuki shook his head and tried not to look at him as Kariage inhaled and lifted up his pencil once again. But it was hard. So he kept sneaking glances, clenching his fists whenever Kariage licked his bottom lip or tilted his head to the side whenever he was focusing harder than usual.

He nodded shakily when Kariage asked if he was alright.

Yup. Just fine.

For Kariage it happened during two instances, both portraying Katsuki in two different lights.

The first time it was when he came over to Katsuki’s place and his mother directed Kariage to the backyard where Katsuki was practising his quirk.

When he walked over there he wasn’t expecting to see Katsuki wearing some grey sweatpants and a fucking crop top. A crop top. 

It showed his tiny little waist, his smooth pale skin, the sweat dripping down the arch of his back and over the dimples at the bottom of it. He could barely fucking breathe. Even his stupid quirk went out of control a little bit, smoke coming past his lips before he coughed and got rid of it.

Just in time for Katsuki to turn towards him, giving him an eyeful of those fucking abs while grinning at him.

Great.

The second time was when Katsuki got sick.

It was rare but it still happened sometimes, and Kariage offered to bring him the homework and his notes.

But then he walked into his room and saw Katsuki curled up on the bed, fast asleep while swimming in an oversized hoodie, the hood pulled over his head.

His face was flushed and lips parted, the tip of his nose slightly red too.

Kariage moved his hand, brushing Katsuki’s hair away from his forehead and nearly cooing at how soft the boy looked.

So pretty.

The first time he saw Katsuki he might’ve realized he was attracted to him, but the second time was when he realized that oh fuck... He actually has a crush on him.

asdFGHJKL??? OMG?? This is so good?? I freaking love ideas that involves Quirk drawbacks, since there’s not many obviously shown in canon, and the way you so seamlessly applied that concept to Kariage?? It’s ingenious!!

And, like, I’ve thought and talked about possible Quirk drawbacks with some of the other people interested in Kariage and Katsucrew content, but I’ve only considered how Mito’s Quirk could make her burn calories extremely fast and how getting sick/fevers could potentially be very dangerous to her, and also how Seika could have breathing problems when using her Quirk because it alters the air pressure and quality around her.

But, like?? The concept of Kariage’s Quirk hurting him at first and having to train his body to get used to it with exposure to what hurts him? Katsuki carrying inhalers around to help, and even cigarettes even though he could get in trouble for it? Secret sweet-toothed Katsuki? Kariage keeping burn cream, bandages, and painkillers on hand to help Katsuki? Boyfriends loving and supporting each other the best that they can?? Immaculate, flawless, exquisite.

I cannot believe I’ve never considered such a perfect idea. Like, as someone with breathing problems, this hits so close to home and it’s just?? asdfghjk I really don’t have words to describe just how much i love this concept. It’s absolute perfection. I’d absolutely love to include this idea in the Undercut-verse canon, if that’s alright with you? If not, that’s fine!! But ahhdfghjkl I just love this concept so much, regardless!! <33

📂📂📂bakugou undercut headcanons???

Kariage often has a really bad cough and lung problems. His quirk, smoke, isn’t very kind to his breathing system and so he’ll often struggle to breathe and cough and cough and cough until his throat is sore and his chest is aching.

So Katsuki always carries around several inhalers. If he doesn’t have his backpack with him he still has an inhaler in his pocket and he’s always ready in case Kariage needs it.

He also always goes to the doctor with him, trying to find ways to make it easier for him to breathe and strengthen his resistance to his quirk. With training it becomes easier, Kariage’s coughing fits ease up and they’re not quite as bad, but Katsuki never gets rid of his habit and he still carries around inhalers.

Kariage, on the other hand, always has painkillers and burn cream with him. When he was young Katsuki would get bad blisters over his hands and it would hurt until he cried in pain, so Kariage made sure to always have some bandages and cream with him.

They just make sure to have the things the other might need and it doesn’t just extend to medication and safety precatuions; Katsuki always has a lollipop or two with him, and in his backpack (and in the UA dorms) he has a pack of cigarettes that Kariage smokes in order to strengthen his quirk. On the other hand, Kariage usually has some chocolate with him - Katsuki would never admit it but he has quite the sweet-tooth and if he’s in a bad mood giving him chocolate is a sure way to get him out of it, he also always has a bottle of water in his backpack since Katsuki has to keep himself hydrated, and in the colder months he brings a spare jacket even though he doesn’t need it just because he knwos fine well Katsuki always gets cold and complains about it.

BAKUGOU HEADCANON 34

ya’ll it’s time for the love of my life, undercut-kun and tiny waist appreciation.

During Kariage (undercut-kun) and Bakugou’s middle school years, the hero in training could always be seen wearing baggy clothes, so they and consequently Kariage never saw Bakugou’s waist.

But, when Bakugou’s finally in his second year at U.A. and was more comfortable with everyone in the class, especially Kariage now that they’re officially together after years of pining. Bakugou starts wearing more crop tops and generally loose and short shirts for training because that’s what he always wore when he trains alone. 

Yeah, abs, slim waist, crop tops, and Bakugou Katsuki? Everyone’s fucked.

The first time Kariage saw Bakugou like that was a week after they got together with Bakugou barging in the other’s room after a work out in a crop top and leggings. Kariage with a Not-So-Subtle-Tiny-Waist-Kink, shuts down. He accidentally drops the water he was holding and Cannot answer Bakugou when he asks why because “fuck I was too busy staring at your waist hitting all the right points for me fuck wait-”

They were supposed to study that night but well, Kariage thought of other things to do. (With minimal complaints from the other.)

After that, Bakugou never figures out why but Kariage always makes a point to hug him from behind and see the way his hands touch while wrapped around Bakugou’s waist. Also the fact that he could basically rest his chin on top of Bakugou’s head because of their size difference, especially in the shoulders because Bakugou may have muscle (i would kill for his biceps) but he’s small while Kariage is broad.

You know I love you, did I ever tell ‘ya? feels so Katsuki to me?? like, we all know he says things more with actions than words, but I feel like, if he were ever to get into a relationship, he’d wanna make sure his partner knows what he feels. I mean, Katsuki could be really insecure, I think, and he wouldn’t want people interpreting his feelings wrong, so he’d do his best to show what he means outright.

I always feel like I’m nobody, mmm / Who wants to fit in anyways? is one of those lines that just fits for both of them, y’know? Like, Katsuki is very prideful and says that he’s one of the strongest, but I think, especially post-Sludge Villain, post-Sports Festival, and post-Kamino/kidnapping, he’d have some second thoughts. However, like always, he’d bounce back - he’d see those comments about him being villainous when he shouts and curses, and probably does it twofold, because who wants to be a cookie cutter hero?

With Kariage, I think when he was younger, he was told that he’d never be anything special with a relatively weak Quirk like Smoke, but after befriending Katsuki and realizing that people don’t know shit, he’d pursue his dream of being a Hero regardless of the criticism.

Like, we’ve established that Kariage’s home situation is, like, bad, and the only good thing that came from it was his baby sister. However, just thinking about the fact that Katsuki makes him feel like he could be something greater than an abused kid from the slums makes me so soft.

And?? Katsuki feeling safe around Kariage because he’s one of the few people he knows will never expose his secrets or call him a villain or think him an irredeemable monster?? Katsuki knowing Kariage sees past his abrasive exterior and loves him to his core?? Katsuki loving the fact that Kariage will never expect him to change the way he is, and loves him for who he truly is?? Immaculate.

I can deal with the bad nights / When I’m with my baby, yeah just gives me the uwu’s. Like, imagine: it’s one of the many cold, rainy nights that Kariage has come to the Bakugou’s home, sporting busted lips, a bloody nose, or bruised cheeks, with Kanji huddling for warmth under his sopping wet hoodie. Katsuki doesn’t even have to ask about what happened, already knows about his deadbeat dad and alcoholic mom, he just invites the siblings in. He makes them a hot meal, and when they cuddle up together under the covers, things aren’t perfect, but they’re better.

And Katsuki?? I’m just tearfully thinking about him waking from one of his many nightmares (sludge, muzzle, death, fear, hurt, villain) and his first instinct is to call up Kariage. Maybe they don’t even talk, but Katsuki can always fall back asleep to the sound of Kariage breathing, safe, alive. He doesn’t get nightmares the rest of the night.

lastly: ‘Cause I don’t care as long as you just hold me near / You can take me anywhere / And you’re making me feel like I’m loved by somebody - these lines have so much potential?? Like, it shows how much trust they’d have in each other, especially Katsuki trusting in Kariage?? Because, I mean, Katsuki thrives off being in control of any given situation - as soon as that control begins to slip, he starts feeling at a loss - so Katsuki trusting Kariage enough that he’d let the boy take him anywhere, surprise him with anything?? Perfection.

And, Kariage finally being loved by someone who doesn’t have to love him?? I mean, his parents are shitty, and kids like Kanji love anyone who loves them, so having Katsuki - someone who doesn’t owe Kariage anything - love him is amazing.

I’ve talked about this before on Bunny’s server even before I posted the art I did of Seika, but this is 100% her. Separately, each part of any of her outfits could be considered decent - pretty, even!! However, Seika can and will combine 300 different prints and patterns to create the ugliest fucking outfit ever and she’ll proudly wear it.

Mito adores her girlfriend’s ugly clothes and Kanji loves the bright colors and flower patterns. Kariage honestly finds her fashion sense hilarious, but Katsuki positively vibrates with lividity every time he has to see her eyesore outfits and would 100% set them on fire given the chance.

Honestly I love ironically ugly clothes. Like. Hideous in a special way. If it’s not inherently hideous I’ll match it until it is.

Oh God, I love it so much, it has so many delicious elements - jealous/angry Deku, oblivious Bakugou and possessive/smug Kariage. Amazing.

During Middle School Kariage didn’t really notice anything amiss, him and Katsuki weren’t that keen on PDA or even revealing that they were in a relationship so to everyone else it just seemed like they were friends, not even close friends at that since they kept their distance while in public. Kariage often overheard people call them Katsuki’s followers and he couldn’t help but laugh at the title cause to him it was ridiculous. He couldn’t believe that people were so blinded by the front Katsuki put up that they really thought he couldn’t have any real friends. Ridiculous.

But then Katsuki and he go to separate High Schools - UA for Katsuki, of course, and an art school for Kariage - and the lack of PDA still doesn’t bother them. 

Until the Sport’s Festival.

Katsuki got a spare ticket and of course he invited his boyfriend and Kariage was more than happy to watch him fight, he knew his Katsuki would win anyways and he wanted to be there and give him a congratulatory kiss when he did.

After the fights started he decided to leave his seat and go find Katsuki; it’s not like he wasn’t used to sneaking around into places he didn’t belong. He just wanted to wish him luck - not in those words, of course, he’d get his damn face blown off if he ever insinuated Katsuki needed stupid shit like luck.

And soon he found the booth Katsuki was in and he was surrounded by the 1A Class. 

When he walked in he first saw Katsuki’s face, that adorable little frown was right in place and everyone seemed to be yelling over each other as they talked, seemingly making some stupid comments towards Katsuki. Kariage had no problem interrupting all that bullshit and calling out his name

And like magic, Katsuki’s frown disappeared and his features calmed down as everyone quieted down and watched as Katsuki turned his head while Kariage walked towards him.

“You’re not supposed to be here, dumbass.”

“Yeah, yeah, as if I care.”

And then he leaned in, placing his hand on Katsuki’s cheek and kissed him.

He was pretty sure someone fell of their seat but Kariage just sat down next to him and placed an arm around his shoulder.

With a glance to the side he noticed a pair of curious green eyes on them, those eyes got filled with something... strange, something a bit more angry, when Kariage squeezed Katsuki closer to his side.

Kariage smirked.

Interesting.

It seemed as if after that Kariage saw Midoriya everywhere, he was almost concerned with how frequently he and Katsuki ran into him but he thought nothing of it. He was too busy pulling Katsuki closer and kissing him and revelling in the look of fury crossing Midoriya’s features whenever they saw him, after all.

It was exhilirating. It honestly did wonders for his ego, the fact that this sweet kid was angry that his childhood friend, the most explosive and stubborn person known to man, was letting himself be soft with someone that he’d only known half the amount of years he’d known Midoriya.

Soon he started to make sure Katsuki had his marks on him too, his neck and chest were always covered in hickeys, insuring that everyone, especially Midoriya, will know he’s spoken for.

Once they moved into the dorms (and Kariage stopped panicking whenever he didn’t see Katsuki for more than a day) it was harder for them to see each other but luckily Katsuki managed to get permission to both leave the dorms and have Kariage come visit him.

And so Kariage got the absolute pleasure of talking Katsuki into joining a movie night - a thing he’d never joined before - with minimal grumbling and then they took up a corner of the couch where Katsuki practically sat in his lap during the whole thing before finally falling asleep on his chest, his hand gripping Kariage’s hoodie and his face lax and completely calm; beautiful as always.

He looked up at that moment, watching as Midoriya lifted his jealous gaze from Katsuki’s face to Kariage’s. And as their eyes met Kariage smirked, leaning in close and pressing a kiss to Katsuki’s forehead before he winked.

He had to bite his lip to hold in a burst of laughter at the expression on Midoriya’s face.

Fucking amazing.

Awe, Anon, you’re so kind! Okay, so since you specifically asked for the Vigilante AU, I’m going to expand most on that one, if that’s cool with you!! <33

So, I’ve talked about this AU like, once or twice on Bunny’s server, and it actually originally started as just an idea for Kariage to be a vigilante, but the longer I thought about it, the more possibilities arose. Thus, Vigilante Katsucrew was born.

Hifue is behind-the-scenes, the one who determines and locates targets; obtains and organizes information gathered from police reports, kariage’s info brokering, and the Hero Network; and sets up patrol routes and times for the Katsucrew so they can cover as much of Musutafu as they can. Mito is their support: she designs and builds gear, tools, and weapons from scrap material she secretly collects from the Support classes. She’s also acts as a briefer and runs interference when one of the crew needs to pull away from a situation or needs backup.

The both of them still attend UA, and keep their vigilante work on the downlow to keep from being caught.

Seika is the only one between Kariage, Henshuu, and herself that still goes to Moushou Academy. As a result, her patrols are closer to home and last a shorter amount of time than the others’ do. To make up for this, she does a lot of research and investigative work in her spare time, helping to tracks down villains with Hifue and looking for loopholes in Hero law that’d keep her friends safe.

Yasushi, while he doesn’t necessarily do vigilante work, mentions a lot of what he hears on the streets and in the places he works to the crew. He also helps coordinate patrol routes when he knows certain people (targets) are going to be at a specific place. He’s also the one to check in with the crew alongside Seika to make sure they’re not overworking themselves.

Kariage and Henshuu are the ones most involved in hands-on vigilante work. Kariage prefers to work in the shadows, gathering information by spying, bartering, and blackmailing; sneaking around villain and criminal hotspots to scope out targets; and building up connections and collecting favors that’d help the crew in the long run.

In contrast, Henshuu is their most out-there member. She acts as the bruiser of the group, and her patrols are often dangerous, which is why Kariage sometimes joins her. On her patrols, she does what her unofficial role implies, and has a reputation of beating up murderers, abusers, pedophiles and assaulters before dropping them off in front of police stations.

All in all, the group is doing so much good. People hail them as heroes, and refuse to give information to detectives because what’re the police going to do? Arrest the entire population of Musutafu? Fat chance. And, the funny thing is, they think they’re being so secretive, but Katsuki 100% knows what his crew of dumbasses are up to. And, hey, if he purposefully drops little bits of info here and there, things he’s heard in passing and knows would help his band of idiots, then no one has to know.

Eventually, it all comes to a head when Katsuki invites Kariage and the Katsucrew to the dorms to hang out. Aizawa, being one of the few to know the faces of three of the crew (Smoke Screen, Kadou, Transient) is immediately on guard. However, as time goes on and he sees Katsuki be so happy, he puts aside his worries. After all, if these kids (God, they’re so young) can make Katsuki act like an actual teenager, make him smile and laugh without reservations, then how bad can they truly be?

He doesn’t mention the kids at the next meeting about Musutafu’s own vigilantes.

As for the other AUs, they’re a bit less detailed! The fantasy AU is a oneshot I’m hoping to finish by next week as somewhat of a test drive to practice writing the crew.

The Cop Kariage AU is, personally, one of the ones I’m looking forward to writing the most. It’s a future fic set in Katsuki’s third year at UA with him and detective-in-training Kariage meeting in the middle of a crime scene. And, honestly? It features Katsuki being the Gay Disaster he is at heart, so if you wanna ask for more info about this one, please do, because I can and will scream about this idea for hours on end <33

does the katsucrew apologize to izuku?

Okay, so, I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to preface this answer with a bit of a warning: some people might not necessarily like my answer to this, however, I’m taking from my own experiences of being bullied, so please know that this has influenced how I’m answering this ask. Thank you for understanding!!

So, the thing is, the only two of the group that canonically bully Deku are Katsuki and Yasushi. You can have different opinions on whether Kariage was a bully or not, but I don’t actually consider him one! Thus, I don’t think he’d necessarily owe Deku an apology.

As for the rest of the Katsucrew: I think, overall, it’d vary.

For example, while Seika was shown to be one of the classmates to laugh when it’s revealed Deku wanted to go to UA, her character in the Undercut-verse is that of someone who’d be at least a little bit nice to even people she doesn’t like or care about. I’m considering whether or not I want her to apologize, but know that if she does, it’d be more of a general apology about what Deku went through rather than any one specific instance involving her.

Mito, another one of the crew canonically shown to laugh at Deku, I feel would contribute more in teasing Deku rather than outright bullying him. Because of this, she probably wouldn’t view her actions as being all that bad, especially in contrast to how other people treated him and most likely wouldn’t even think that it’s worth apologizing about.

Hifue would 100% call Katsuki out if he ever went too far, as would the rest of the crew. However, as someone who understands emotions in a rather distant way and regards Deku rather neutrally, she’d probably be one of the ones to not really care about the whole situation, especially since she doesn’t consider Deku a friend.

Henshuu, I feel, wouldn’t like Deku. She’s portrayed as someone who respects those that put in work and actively pursue their goals, so Deku’s complete lack of work ethic in regards to his dreams would most likely grate at her nerves. I know that she wouldn’t be on Katsuki’s level, but she was one of the gang who probably pushed Deku around a bit when they were younger. As for an apology, I don’t think she’d give one, as she’s someone very prideful and stubborn, but who knows where the ‘verse will take us?

However, out of the whole crew, I think the only one Deku would actively dislike would be Yasushi, who may or may not apologize and was, from what we’ve seen, nearly just as much of an asshole to Deku as Katsuki was. He’d also have a very neutral view of Kariage, someone who never outright bullied him but stood by while it happend. However, he’d probably harbor some jealously of the boy, considering his close relationship with Katsuki that was formed in half the time Deku knew Katsuki.

Please note that these interpretations might change come the actual story, but this is what I have for right now!!

HI HELLO I have nothing to say except that this is amazingly soft and I hold it incredibly dear. Kariage throwing rocks at Katsuki’s window? Kariage calling Katsuki ‘Baby’? Kariage smelling like a bona fide bad boy, but being so comforting? The cuddling? Katsuki not wanting Kariage to leave because he thinks he’s bad? The reassurances and sheer amount of love? Utter perfection. I’d wholeheartedly die for you <33

I’m tired and want to sleep but I keep thinking about Katsuki going home after the Sport’s Festival and he doesn’t cry at all, he just feels so numb and defeated. His parents aren’t even there when he gets in and he’s happy for that, at least they won’t tell him how disappointed they are, and so he just showers and goes to his room.

He spends hours laying in bed, thinking about what happened and how he must’ve deserved it, he was bad and needed to be punished.

But then, in the late hours of the night, he hears the familiar sound of rocks hitting his window and he already knows who it is. He rushes to open it and he watches as Kariage climbs up and jumps into his room.

Katsuki just wrings his hands together and looks down while Kariage cups his cheeks and rubs the red and cut up skin where the muzzle dug in. Kariage clicks his tongue and lifts up Katsuki’s face. 

“You hurt, baby?”

Katsuki shakes his head. He wasn’t, it was fine, he deserved it.

But suddenly all he can smell is smoke and leather and Kariage’s cologne and all he can feel are his hands on his cheeks and they’re so fucking gentle and so soft and his face crumples and he just starts to cry.

Straight away Kariage pulls him in, holding him closely and shushing him as Katsuki wraps his arms around him and they fall onto his bed.

He doesn’t know how long they spend like that but he does know that at some point he started talking, rambling about how sorry he was, how he deserved it, he’d get better, he wouldn’t be a villain anymore, and he begged Kariage not to leave him now that he showed everyone how bad he really was.

But Kariage didn’t leave. He just pulled him in and told him he loved him, he tells him he knows him, he knows who he really is and it’s anything but bad, finally making him relax and fall asleep.

They’d talk tomorrow. It’s fine. He’d be fine.

TW // teenage drug use and drinking; slight innuendos

During third year, almost everyone in Class 3-A has smoked, done weed, gotten drunk, and experienced the fucked up life that is being a newly legal teenager, except for Bakugou.

Bakugou never went with them to their parties lasting until 4am, never participated when they passed around the pot, hell most of the time he wasn’t even there. For all his bad boy bluster and persona, he has the cleanest record among all of them. (Deku has tried once or twice but he knows Bakugou will kill him if he gets drunk too much by using Auntie Inko).

Now during their final year, they’ve all come to realize that Bakugou is a fucking “tsundere.” He’s mellowed out, cooked for them if they asked (begged and bribed) like a perfect housewife, took care of them during a particularly bad hangover, saw his tiny fucking waist,  and yeah he’s cute. The boys of Class 3-A (because Bakugou is a disaster gay) flirt with him every chance they get.

They make it a point to indulge in their bad habits in front of Bakugou (ex. smoking) and offer him to join, just so Bakugou will refuse and they call him a “good boy” for keeping his slate pure. “Kitten” and “Honey” are thrown around when they’ve come back drunk from another party and Bakugou let’s it slide because they’re tipsy. (They do it on purpose, mostly done by Todoroki, to see Bakugou’s endearing blush and sputtering that he tries to hide).

The boys asks incriminating questions in front of other people (to stake their claim) like asking if Bakugou wants to shotgun smoke or do weed after training. He always answers with “What the fuck is that?” and the class comes up with answers filled with innuendos Bakugou never understands (”I can teach you later, love.”) but everyone else does.

One time during those rare parties that Bakugou joins in on (dragged by Kirishima), the boys offer him a cigarette, as per their routine. But this time, Bakugou actually takes it. Their resident best smoker, Todoroki because it comes with his quirk, tries to explain how to properly do it so he won’t choke but Bakugou quickly brushes him off. He lights the end of the cigarette using sparks from his hand with practiced ease and inhales deeply as he closes his eyes. 

Everyone’s freaking out inside because “How does he know how to do this?” yet their still reeling how fucking hot it looks. Then, Bakugou puffs out a perfect series of smoke rings that takes experience to create with a shit eating grin. What’s worse is that those rings are generally made for a smoke shotgunning partner to inhale, meaning Bakugou has shotgunned before. 

After they get off their initial shock, they harbor jealously inside under their thoughts on how good Bakugou looks because “Who the fuck taught him how to do that? Who did he smoke with?” Well, Bakugou can’t say they’re wrong, he learned it all from Kariage.

after the sports festival how do you think the katsucrew would act towards the teachers at UA, especially all night and midnight, and the students, who stood by and did nothing even though they claimed to be katsuki’s friend???? (sorry but ur sports festival headcannon just hit me straight in the feels like sh*tttttt) (also I’m so happy I found ur tumblr ur undercut ‘verse seeems so interesting,, I love it!!!)

OMG you’re sweet!! Okay, so in the canon ‘verse, the crew doesn’t actually have much interaction with any of UA’s teachers except for Aizawa, which mostly happens post-kidnapping. However!! After the Sports Festival, the crew stops being so outwardly supportive of Heroes, the situation sinking in as a failure and mistake on the part of Heroes who refuse to make things right.

Both Kariage and Hifue never really went through a Hero worship phase, mostly because they’re both highly suspicious and untrusting of authority figures, so the rest of the Katsucrew already knows their stance on things. They both hate the Heroes from the Sports Festival, unwilling to forgive them even if an apology was issued.  Henshuu is mostly just severely disappointed in what the teachers did, not willing to let them off the hook even after Katsuki tells the crew that it’s fine.

Seika, on the other hand, always had the best idea of Heroes, believing they did their job to save and protect people. Post-Sports Festival, though, she begins to realize that her previous assessment of most Heroes was wrong, and she stops her outward support of a lot of Heroes she once had respect for. Mito and Yasushi, both having never wanted to be Heroes, don’t find it difficult at all to pull apart and condemn the wrongful actions of Heroes.

As for the students that stood by, Kariage and Mito are the only ones of the group who actively dislike them, though they don’t make it known, not wanting Katsuki to not make friends because of their opinions. Hifue recognizes that, as kids, they weren’t responsible for the actions of adults, and Seika just wished someone would’ve stepped in to prevent it from happening in the first place. 

Yasushi is neutral to the 1A kids, knowing they probably could’ve stepped in, but he doesn’t exactly blame them for letting it happen -  I mean, if All Might did something, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone to denounce his actions, you know? Henshuu is the only one who actively shows her dislike of 1A, refusing to make conversation and always grumbling around them. Katsuki doesn’t make her stop, and secretly likes that she’s willing to be disliked just to show her support for him.

As I said, the kids don’t exactly have too much interactions with the teachers, so it’s bit hard to theorize from what I do have planned and outlined. However!! I am planning to write a spinoff AU based on the Training of the Dead OVA for this ‘verse, where Kariage, Seika, and Henshuu’s Hero school is the one to have a joint training with UA instead of Isamu Academy High School. So, those three do get to have more interactions with All MIght and 1A in this specific spinoff fic.

!! THE!! CHEEK!! SPARKLES!! omg i love this headcanon, it’s so friggin adorable. Oh man, it’s so sweet that Kariage’s the only one who knows about them? Like, it’s a literally testament to just how close they are to each other, you know, that they knows things about each other that no one else does. And the way Kariage is the only one who can fluster Katsuki enough for the little sparks to show up? The fact that he’s smug about the fact that his boyfriend is only cute with him? Immaculate.

any bakugou and undercut-kun hc?

Kariage is the only one that knows about a little.... side effect of Katsuki’s quirk. It’s nothing bad, nothing life-threatening, it’s just fucking adorable.

See, if Katsuki gets flustered or blushes hard enough he lets off tiny little star-like sparks all across his cheeks. He can’t control it, can’t stop it, and Kariage adores it.

No one else has gotten Katsuki to do that and he definitely hasn’t told anyone about it, he thinks it’s fucking embarrassing, it’s so stupid and childishly cute.

But Kariage loves it, it’s one of his favourite things about Katsuki. He loves the way he looks when it happens, cheeks all flushed and brows furrowed, nose scrunched up in frustration, all the while his cheeks are covered in bright little sparks. It’s the cutest thing ever. What he loves more than the way it looks, though, is just the fact that he’s the only one that can make it happen.

OMG, I just asdfghjkl I love how they’re so careful with each other, that despite their years of being together, they know that having this secret little code makes sure that they never feel unsafe around each other!! I love the good communication trope, especially for these two. Also, can I please say that it’s amazing that the little code helps both of them? Like, it’s not one-sided, because it provides safety and security to both boys, I love it.

AND!! And the rest of the Katsucrew picking up the code? I love it, it’s so cute and in character for these little losers. Also, the little hint about their tree is so freaking adorable. Kariage (undercut-kun) and Bakugou have been dating since middle school, it’s in context that they’ve spent years getting to know each other, working around one another’s insecurities and weaknesses. Kariage especially to Bakugou, after the sludge villain, sports festival, kidnapping, fights, etc., he’s been there.

He and Bakugou devised a code or secret language if you will, right after the sludge villain incident. Two consecutive taps must be done first if you’re going to initiate physical affection towards one another, and wait for 2 seconds if the other is going to shake their head as a no. If not, then the physical touch is welcome. 

This is done to not surprise Bakugou or Kariage at the sudden contact, to not activate their fight or flight response. This stemmed from Bakugou’s traumas of people grabbing him and Kariage with his abusive parents. It’s a simple secret act between the two of them, yet important nonetheless as it shows consent.

Another is four consecutive taps meaning that they feel unsafe or their anxiety is spiking up. No matter where they are or what they’re doing, they stop and try to leave (if they’re with other people) and goes to a certain safe place, like Bakugou’s room or under their tree at the park, until the person feels comfortable again. No questions asked between the two of them, they give the other space or affection depending on the mood and wait until they tap 2 times to signify they’re okay again.

With this, they built trust and boundaries, something Bakugou’s other friends may lack or ignore. They build comfort and protection, because no matter how strong Kariage seems to be, there are times when things become overbearing. They’ve been doing this for years and the other members of the Katsucrew or Aldera Gang (dubbed by @hitheryon) has caught up on their signs and makes it a habit to watch out for those subtle taps initiated to know how to cheer their friends up or to give them time and space.

Kariage and Bakugou know their friends have realized and seen their private codes already and they couldn’t be happier as the signs they use become an unspoken thing between the group. No questions asked, they’re simply there for one another. They might not be perfect, but they’ll go through everything and anything together.

I absolutely have special headcanons for the boys!!

So, first of all, physical affection is a big part of their relationship. Kariage is a possessive boy, so he loves showing his love of Katsuki out in public. He kisses and hugs him, holds his hand or waist, even pulls him onto his lap when he knows he’ll get away with it. Katsuki pretends to hate it, but he loves when Kariage does those little things. He might scream and shout otherwise, but he also adores the fact that his boyfriend can and will just pick him up whenever, just because he wants to.

Sometimes, though, Katsuki will accept the affection without even grumbling, and even initiate affection. Kariage loves those moments more than most things.

As for dates, because they are both so busy with Hero school, they go on official dates once every three weeks. Their dates usually consist of eating at new places, attending festivals, going hiking, or going on double dates with Mito and Seika. Between dates, though, they do still hang out, often studying together and trading Heroics lesson notes, going to the arcade with the crew, and training together.

They also have little traditions in their relationship. Katsuki often prepares bentos to last a week for both Kariage and Kanji so they don’t have to go without food at home. He also carries around lollipops and other hard candies for when Kariage starts itching for a cigarette. Kariage always greets Katsuki by pushing his bangs up and kissing his forehead, and the two of them have a tradition of going on a week long camping trip with Kanji once a year to relax and take in the beauty of nature. The two also have a habit of doing the three squeezes when holding hands to nonverbally tell the other “I Love You.”

All in all, they’re a very cute couple and I love them lots!! <33

Now, while everything at the Sports Festival was happening, there were people at home watching the broadcasts. Watching Katsuki chained and muzzled to the podium, watching Mito chew out All MIght and Midnight, watching as the crowd devolved into shouts of “Let him go!”, watching as Katsuki was finally released and allowed to leave, watching as things were thrown from the stands, watching as the second and third placers reluctantly took their medals before hurriedly leaving the stadium.

There was the League of Villains, who watched as a child got chained up by so-called Paragons of Virtue. Who watched as no one did anything until another child spoke up. who watched a powerful child stumble away with fear and hurt in his eyes. Who watched as people still supported the Heroes and gave excuses.

They see Bakugou Katsuki, a future recruit.

But we aren’t focusing on the League of Villains. No, we are looking at the Katsucrew:

Seika, who stared at the TV screen with furrowed brows and teary-eyes, so confused, so heartbroken. Who picked up her phone and called up Mito to get the full story. Who cried when Katsuki told her that it was fine, he was acting up, he should’ve just accepted the medal.

Kariage, who threw a mug at the wall, uncaring of the broken shards and the fact that his mother screamed herself hoarse at him. Who picked up the phone when Seika called, in tears, and agreed to meeting up. Who grabbed Kanji and hauled ass to the crew’s meetup spot.

Henshuu, who sat in shock at the broadcast. Who tried so hard to keep from screaming in rage that she bit her lip bloody. Who threw her responsibilities at her older siblings just to sneak out the house and meet up with her friends.

Yasushi, who took his first ever day off of work just to make sure his friend was okay. Who grabbed Katsuki’s favorite snacks from his family’s konbini. Who snarked at a stranger on the train who claimed Katsuki would fit better as a villain.

The crew all gather at the Warehouse Roof by the time the sun is setting, Mito and Hifue arriving last with a quiet Katsuki. He beelines straight to Kariage, who holds the younger boy in a tight hug. One by one, the rest of the crew join in, Kanji curled in Katsuki’s arms as the kids comfort their friend.

“You did nothing wrong,” Seika whispers hoarsely.

“You didn’t deserve what they did,” Mito murmurs.

“Not your fault,” echo both Hifue and Yasushi.

“I’ll kick their asses, see if I care,” grumbles Henshuu.

“Shuu!” Seika scolds as Kanji giggles at the curse.

Katsuki snorts, smiling softly in the middle of the hug.

“We’re here for you, ‘Suki.” Kariage kisses the top of his head, tightening his arms around his smaller boyfriend. And, Katsuki doesn’t reply, but when he reaches for Kariage’s hand and squeezes three times, eyes shining with unshed tears, the crew all know their boy was gonna be okay.

“I love you too, baby,” Kariage whispers.

Oh, definitely!!

I’m not entirely certain if I actually want to have Bakubowl in the ‘verse, but regardless, there are going to be some jealous kids.

The Bakusquad and Deku are the ones who are most jealous of the closeness between Katsuki and Kariage. Deku mostly because he hates the fact that, despite knowing Katsuki for longer, Katsuki barely tolerates him while he willingly gives attention and affection to Kariage.

The Bakusquad are jealous because most of their ‘Let’s be friends’ advances are rebuffed without a second thought. At first, they don’t understand why Katsuki lets his other friends be so casual about touch, not knowing that years were spent gaining trust and learning about each other.

However, eventually, when Katsuki admits to the Katsucrew that he wants to actually get closer to the Bakusquad and at least form a decent relationship with Deku, the crew supports him 100%. Some of the crew even goes so far as to give advice to the 1A kids, mostly about the different ways Katsuki expresses care and friendship and how to be a good friend to the resident hothead.

!! Okay, so, everyone kind of has different reactions.

So, like, Deku in the ‘verse is well aware that Katsuki is gay. He just never considered that the kids that hung around Katsuki were anything but followers. So, when it becomes known that Kariage is Katuki’s boyfriend, Deku is shocked beyond words. As Kariage is one of the Aldera kids that Deku’s kind of neutral and mildly salty at, he doesn’t like how close the other boy is to Katsuki, but he knows if he says anything, Katsuki would kick his ass.

Aizawa’s reaction is kind of funny. We all know Katsuki is his favorite, probably sees him as having the most potential in 1A and is probably even more protective over him after the kidnaping. So, when he sees this older kid that smells like cigarette smoke casually interact with one of his Problem Children, his instincts are telling him to intervene. I mean, Kariage positively radiates Bad Boy Energy. However, he sees the way Katsuki lets the boy hang close to him with only a minimal amount of grumbling, he relaxes somewhat. Katsuki is a smart kid, and he wouldn’t voluntarily hang around a bad person, so Aizawa trusts him to handle things.

(and if Aizawa does a little digging later to make sure, only to relax when he finds that Kariage goes to a Hero school, then, well no one needs to know)

The Bakusquad are the most shocked. After all, with them, Katsuki regularly hisses at physical affection and dodges, ducks, and smacks away their attempts at hugging and touching him. And here’s this mysterious boy that appears out of nowhere who’s hand-holding, hugs, and kisses are actually accepted?? Returned?? Katsuki even smiles at him!! It’s so weird, but the whole squad is feeling at least a little bit of jealously, though Ashido and Kaminari are the only ones that state it outright.

Other than them, most of the class is a little bit shocked. Even the ones who aren’t especially close to Katsuki know how he is, and seeing him interact with his mystery friends, his boyfriend, is perplexing.

Ooooo can we have some more headcannons about the katsucrew !!! (Also I’ve been so into undercut-kun x Katsuki lately and this account is a godsend! thank you!!!)

asdfghjk omg Anon, you’re so sweet!!! Also, yes, of course you can have more Katsucrew headcanons. I dunno if you were in bunny’s server when I posted all the ones I had, but for those who weren’t, here are some of them!!

So, starting with Seika!! She’s a real sweetheart, a bit of an airhead when it comes to social situations, but very book smart. She’s especially fixated on plant science, especially since she often uses the flowers, roots, herbs, and leaves she finds in her baking and in making medicinal tonics and salves. Additionally, due to her love for all things nature, she’s obsessed with wearing floral patterns with every outfit, often resulting in the clashing prints and colors that Katsuki despises.

Kariage is older than the rest of the Katsucrew, being seventeen, and, combined with how he raised his little sister from birth, often acts older than he is. He’s the first to tease and make fun of his friends, but he’ll beat up the first person who says anything bad about the crew. When he got old enough for a license, he got his hands on a motorcycle. Now, it features art that every member of the crew helped to design, and something that represents each crew member (i.e.: explosions and grenades for Katsuki, fire decals for Mito, water bubbles for Henshuu, etc.).

Mito is one of the few in the Katsucrew that can actually cook, often competing with Katsuki to make the best version of complicated dishes. She’s also a bit of a bad girl, despite being enrolled at UA, often partaking in underage drinking and buying weed from Yasushi. Despite this, however, she’s a model student, one of the top in the first year Support Course and always up to use her skills for good.

Henshuu is a bit of a wildcard in some people’s eyes. She’s small and wears her hair in pigtails, but, as a skilled boxer and martial artist, she’s also one of the only ones in the Katsucrew who can actually take Katsuki down in Quirkless fighting. She was raised in a mixed-race household, being 1/2 Japanese, 1/4 Chinese, and 1/4 Mexican, so she’s multilingual and and skilled in the art of cooking fusion dishes for her army of little siblings.

Yasushi is the only one of the crew not going to Hero school, instead attending a normal highschool. He works afterschool at the arcade the Katsucrew frequent and the konbini his parents own. He’s the first to start pranks wars in the crew and the most lax about following the rules, as he’s the most mischevious.

Hifue is studying in UA’s business course for the sole purpose of becoming Katsuki’s PR Agent when he becomes a full-fledged hero. Back at Aldera, she was Katsuki’s casual study-buddy, and the two still meet up on weekends with some of the crew to study at one of their various hangouts. Despite seeming quite aloof, Hifue is a kind girl, calling Katsuki out when he goes too far and helping the business owners in Musutafu by taking stock and organizing their finances for extra cash.

No, but this, for real, made me teary eyed. Like, the concept of Kariage being the only one who cared for Katsuki despite there being so many people Katsuki cares about? The way cigarettes/smoke, the color black, sneaking out reminded Katsuki of his sweetheart? How Katsuki never had win with Kariage, because he was already so good, so perfect in the eyes of his boyfriend? Catch me crying in the club, this shit hurts.

BAKUGOU HEADCANON 27

Kariage dies from lung cancer due to his smoking habits during Bakugou’s 2nd year and fuck, Bakugou knew this was coming, knew that it’ll be sooner that later but he still can’t wrap his mind around loosing one of the people that cared about him. (Bakugou cares about a lot of people, though they seldom care about him too).

Sometimes when he sees a cigarette bud on the street, he can’t help think about how they’re the reason he lost the one person in his life he truly loved. When he smells smoke, they bring tears in his eyes and his throat instantly gets tight because it smells so much like Kariage, it’s like he’s there beside him again. But that’s just it right? That smoke is the reason he’s gone. Funny how that works.

He can’t bring himself to wear the color black anymore because it reminded him of their high school sweetheart days and suddenly he feels numb, feels nothing because the love of his life isn’t there to watch him grow as a hero and as a person (like Kariage said he would). Can’t bring himself to sneak out of U.A. no matter how much he wants to because that used to be their secret thing. When he becomes number one hero, sure he’s proud he’s made it, he worked and bled for this. But the one person that supported him since day one wasn’t there to watch the stars with him until sunrise that night. He thought the day he’ll reach number one will be the best day of his life, but it’s not. Not without him, the only person that mattered. He realizes after everything that his greatest goal in life wasn’t victory, because he was already a winner with Kariage. 

And now he isn’t.

Okay but headcannon that kariage is a jealous or possessive boy but at the same time very smug because he trust Katsuki and he knows he’s the only one who can make Katsuki a flustered mess (1A in the corner all crushing on Katsuki watching him blush for the first time with this delinquent)

Anon!! Anon, this is 100% correct and i know this because I say so.

Kariage is, in fact, a very possessive boy, but he doesn’t show it outright most of the time. He knows that Katsuki would kick his ass six ways to Sunday if he ever showed his possessive side too much, so he settles for just being straight up protective. Katsuki pretends to hate it, but he secretly loves how Kariage holds him closer when they’re in bad neighborhoods, keeps his arm around Katsuki’s waist when people get a little too close, refuses to let him do anything taxing when the stress and anxiety get to be a little too much.

But, yeah, when 1A finally gets to meet Kariage face to face, which I’m thinking happens during the UA School Festival, Kariage sees these kids and becomes even more insufferable on purpose just to ruffle their feathers. He absolutely enjoys the looks of shock, anger, and jealously he gets when Katsuki tucks himself under his chin, holds his hand, and goes on his tiptoes just to kiss Kariage.

And, okay, maybe Kariage is acting a bit immature, but when he sees Midoriya and the boys of the Bakusquad, he always smirks right at them when a blushing Katsuki initiates physical affection without prompting. He knows Katsuki’s never gonna go for boys like them, but they have hope and defiance in their eyes, and Kariage never liked people trying to take what’s his.
