USWNT WC Roster
Am I the only one who finds it strange that US Soccer is already promoting the "one nation, one team, 23 stories" uswnt version already?
Does this mean the that they already selected the 23 players going, but haven't announced it yet?
Because when they did the men's version last year, the trailer for it premiered like a week and a half before the actual world cup started, and about 2 weeks after they announced the 23 players going to the WC, but now with the USWNT they gave us the trailer almost a full 2 months before the WWC.
So does this mean, they just shot it with all the players in camp at the time, and are then just gonna cut out the parts with the players that didn't make the roster (but that doesn't really make any sense because that would be a waste of time/money), or have they already secretly chosen the 23 players?
I know I'm like a billion years late on this. But can someone tell me why Lori Lindsey hasn't been involved with the USWNT since like the Olympics? I could be wrong here but I don't even think she has been called up to a camp since then. And I also don't think anyone has actually mentioned it before but I could be wrong.
By the way, this is not like angry post demanding she be called in or anything like that, I've just been wondering about this for a long time.

does anybody know if Alex Morgan is the only player on the uswnt that is left footed? and if shes not the only player who else prefers their left foot?

Mexico played soo good. They 100% deserved the win.
As of the USA, i think that the 2019 squad was the team that only comes once in a century. it was a team of legends. And the upcoming USA squad is not gonna live up to that no matter what. A part of it is also the fact that the world is catching up. so cut them some slack. u cant expect the usa to win every game anymore.

Well deserved for Ali, I am bawling my eyes out thinking this was the last time i saw her out on the field... Gutted for Pinoe, but she is so much more than what happened tonight... they have both left the sport in a better place than they found it. The bird bowl is over. I am gonna go wathch some old uswnt games from 2016-19...
