The right edge was a bit wonky on the previous version, so I decided to post a slightly updated version. I made the skull linger a bit more as well. I think it’s definitely an improvement on the previous version.
Irrelevant personal tangent under the cut
I’ve honestly been really happy so far with my forays into digital art and animation. I haven’t had much time to practise properly, so I’m not improving as fast as I would have liked, but nonetheless, it’s been fun.
I’m sort of in a bottle phase right now, so my next piece is probably going to be a ship in a bottle.

Why I'm so glad you asked, teenage girl who's tired of sexism
Riot grrrl was a punk movement that started in the 90s because people were fed up with the only punk music being made by white boys (the runaways were pretty much the only girl punk band back in the day). Two main bands started riot grrrl, bikini kill and bratmobile, who I'll get into later. The two most important things about riot grrrl were feminism and punk.
“How do I get into Riot Grrrl?”
The main thing you have to know to start are what music is considered riot grrrl. again we'll get into that later. Right now let's talk about another important part of the riot grrrl community. Zines. A zine is a handmade magazine that was very popular in the riot grrrl community. All the zines I've seen were usually about politics or human rights, but a zine could practically be about anything.
“What music should I listen to if I want to get into Riot Grrrl?”
Here are some recommendations! I will put the band name, a colon, and then some songs I recommend by them
Bikini Kill: rebel girl, alien she, carnival, white boy, magnet, double dare ya
Bratmobile: bitch theme, do you like me like that, cherry bomb (cover), cool schmool, gimme brains
Mommy long legs: abortion, bridezilla, horrorscope, haunted housewife, asshole, call you out, cat callers
Cheap perfume: relapse, slut game strong, it's okay to punch Nazis, fauxmimism, put the devil to bed
VIAL: piss punk, Mr fuck you, planet drool, roadkill, ego death
Destroy boys: you hear yes, duck eat duck world, beg for the torture, for what, honey I'm home, crybaby, I threw glass at my friends eye and now I'm on probation
Sorry mom: I fucked ur mom, shaving my legs, Molly sells Molly by the seashore, officer thats not mine, I saw Jesus hanging off a basketball hoop, hiccup, wire mother
