Due to the recent Tears of Themis stuff, aka the cards. And also due to Vyn Richter, I have decided I have passed away. Vyn has murdered me with his gorgeous looks, personality, and just, yeah. I’m dead now, my funeral is, I don’t know. But I have died and ascended-

Okay so 2.3 SP dropped and we get to see Jade's gameplay! She's so beautiful omg. But I also noticed something.

Am I the only one who feels like there's a connection between Jade and Vyn from ToT?? Both of them have the infinity symbol representing them. Vyn's alias is 'Adjudicator' which is also a role that Jade technically has as an IPC stoneheart. Their personalities also have quite a few similarities in my opinion.

Maybe I'm looking too deep into this and it's probably at most just a small Easter egg. Either way I think it's really cool and I'm so excited!!!!

Well. I love reading headcanons, and I don't think I saw anyone do this one yet, so I thought I'd do it myself. That being said, I present to you:

NXX AND SWEARING

or: when do they swear & how they react to swearing

Luke

he's very polite so he's not one to swear a lot

and most people think he doesn't bc of that

but he does occasionally in a casual way if among the right people

as in when he's telling Rosa about his day he might be like "my God I had a client today and you won't believe what this motherfucker did"

and yes it might sound surprising to hear he'd say anything remotely bad when Rosa's present but it's also worth mentioning they have a very intimate relationship even before they date

swearing can be a sign of intimacy right

anyway getting back on topic: he definitely swears under his breath whenever he gets hurt in a mission or when shit gets real

bc his job can be and will be stressing and what better way to unwind than dropping an f-bomb amirite

is not phased at all if Rosa swears (they lived together for so long, he's definitely heard her say some abominations)

Artem

you'd think he's at the "never swore before and refuses to do so" tier

but hear me out: he's actually done so before and will do it again

never publicly tho

he's very professional so none of his colleagues ever heard anything remotely resembling a swear coming from him (and they NEVER will.)

but when he's alone he'll probably gently do so if having a hard time in a case or feeling frustrated or in pain or whatever reason

and if his colleagues never heard him swear imagine Rosa

she'll NEVER. EVER. hear Artem swear

unless their dinamic changes a bit later on I'm not sure about this I play the global server :P

tho I don't think he'd feel very comfortable in doing so

now that I think about it, I guess he'd feel guilty or at least strange if anyone heard, especially considering they'd definitely be weird about it (WDYM **ARTEM WING** IS SAYING FU-)

if Rosa swore around him (which I don't think she'd do) he'd be confused and probably worried depending on the situation (the confusion stemming from the fact he's not used to hear ppl swearing unless it's someone blatantly trying to disrespect him)

I read "Gordon Ramsay's child" in a tier list and I'm laughing (unrelated)

he's very professional and polite when speaking to ppl in business bc let's be real who in their sane mind wouldn't be haha *sweats in Brazilian while looking at our current ruler*

but put him among close friends and this kid know no boundaries in language

in summary: it's situational and he knows exactly what situations he should and shouldn't do so

as a bonus his father probably also swears with him at home once he's reached a certain age, I don't get the strict language parent vibe from him

I believe he tones the swearing down to a minimum when he's talking with Rosa tho

yk gotta cause a good impression

but will swear if not directed at her like "Artem needs to stop licking Neil's balls lmao" (he'd DEFINITELY say stuff like this if not for censoring)

when she does it back tho he's shocked for a sec but is back on track right away

only for the first few times tho, after that he knows what to expect

Vyn

he either doesn't know swear words on whatever language Stellis speaks or simply refuses to swear

either way he doesn't

at least not that we know of...

nah he doesn't

he's at the tier "has not sworn before but can if so desired" except he still hasn't desired to do so

he's had a strict upbringing as a prince so that's probably why

and also his thing with flaws yk he probably considers bad language a flaw

oh if only he knew about famous Brazilian poet (/j) Cris Nocolotti and her song that goes "when you say 'get fucked' for the first time/ you will retake the reins of your life in your hands" (loose translation)

if Rosa swore around him (which I don't think she'd do especially since she's calls him Doctor Richter after they're dating like come ON) he'd be amused actually (again depending on the situation)

yes I did say he thinks bad laguage = flaw but he seems to like seeing Rosa's multiple sides so there's that

she's almost dying every five seconds

if she's never swore in any of those moments she's the most polite girl in the entire world

or simply already dead inside

anyway I don't think she cares a lot if she's not in a professional setting

or trying to cause a good impression ofc

or around someone who doesn't swear, I feel like she'd respect the other person's wishes (hence my thoughts on her w/ Artem/Vyn)

just like Marius: it's situational and she knows the right places

she doesn't get mad at people swearing tho and will be ok with the nxx boys swearing with her

now I wonder when hearing Artem/Vyn swear would she be amused or worried

The Lost Child at Stellis - Vyn Ritcher

Vyn’s first impression of the amusement park was something more than a place to take away the stress. It was a place where the imaginations of children come to fruition and adults can see the 'fun' in their lives.

He was walking behind the trio when suddenly, in his distance, he saw you. You were sitting on the bench, a face filled with despair and worry.

"Hmm, I wonder what's the matter with that kid? Hold on, why are they sitting alone?" Vyn thought.

As he approached you, he checked over if you were safe. Nodding your head, he sighed and kept his distance.

"My name is Vyn Ritcher or Mr. Richter to you." He gave out this trusting smile. You then introduced yourself, pushing your hair away.

"Were you waiting for someone? Kids like you usually know that they should stay with their parents or they would tell you to call their number," he remarked.

"I don't know where my dad is now. I just returned from the lost and found section after I gave the lady's wallet back. Plus, the signal's kinda bad in this area," you stated.

Impressed by your good nature, he said, "Well, that sounds something to me. I can tell you were taught well on good behavior and manners."

"Dad would be angry if I stole it. I know that from experience," you chuckled. "Hold on a moment. Are you coming alone?"

"No," Vyn said. "I'm actually with a group, but it looks like I went ahead to check over you. I’ll try to find a park worker while you stay here."

"What about your friends?" You had a worried look but he quickly assured you that he'll send a message on his current location and they should go ahead.

So, you stayed on that bench, Vyn trying to find the nearest authority in his vision. You decided to kill time by playing your favorite game on your phone.

A man was trying not to rush through the crowd. Holding his son by the hand, they both tried to find a missing child.

From a distance, Vyn was still looking for a trusted person to help the situation. That is until he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry about that!" The man exclaimed and tried to help Vyn stand up but Vyn politely refused as he brushed away the dust from his hands.

"Are you looking for someone?" he questioned.

"Yes, sir!" the father cried. "It's my child (Y/N), you see. They went somewhere and I'm trying to find them!"

"Well, I'm sure they were last seen on the bench. They were sitting and waiting for you," he smiled.

"Nothing wrong happened to them, sir?" the man asked. As Vyn quickly assured, he led the father to you.

Sure enough, he gave you a big hug and some minor scolding but that would be dealt with later.

Your brother began to complain about how you went off without him but you joked that he doesn't need to follow you everywhere. Vyn smiled fondly as he saw the family reunited.

He was about to leave the scene though your father has some unfinished business. It was his idea that he should spend a little time with you and your family.

So, he agreed. From riding the teacups to experiencing the elusive Ferris Wheel, Vyn was happy to let go of all the worries behind him for now.

The Lost Child at Stellis - Starting Point

// A/N: It took me the whole day to write the beginning partly because Artem and Vyn are characters that are complex in dialogue. Also, this is spoiler-free because it doesn’t connect to the game, just a wholesome story. //

It felt like a surprise when one day, Marius had the greatest idea he ever thought. Even Luke had to sit down to process this correctly.

"So you're saying that we should take a day off by going to...the amusement park?" Luke asked.

Marius laughed softly and said, "Exactly! Seeing as we all serious men had probably little to no experience of fun, I'd thought it'd be an opportunity to spend that time on Saturday, at 10 a.m."

"Excuse you! I'm Clairemont's childhood friend, and we had tons of fun that I can remember!" Luke rebutted.

"We know, Luke. But, can you remember one memory that you enjoyed the most?" Marius stared intently.

Luke was about to add more, but he went silent. Marius smirked again and faced the other two.

"Well, I don't mind taking a break. It seems that I have a free weekend," Vyn smiled.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to visit one ourselves. My last memories of the amusement park were my elementary days." Artem held the papers firmly.

“Seriously? You guys are boring. Except for you, Teach, you’re more interesting,” Marius said, leaning on the couch. As Vyn returns the compliment with a small smile, Luke feels defeated.

“Why does Marius feel the need to call me boring?” he mumbled.

“So, Luke, what’s your answer?” Marius looked to the brunet, who sighed and agreed with no choice.

“Excellent! I’m texting Clairemont to see if she's going with us. It's not perfect without her," Marius winked.

"I'm sure she would say that she has work. It's rare that she gets a break and hangs out with her office friends," Artem recalled.

"How about you? She told me a week ago that all you can talk about is work and nothing about your life. Isn't that crazy?" Luke laughed.

Artem sighed, "I guess that applies to me too. Celestine tried to invite me with some officemates for dinner yet I still said no because of work. Such a shame."

"I recommend joining a few hangouts with friends if you want to liven up your life. As one proverb says, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ I am not going to imagine an Artem Wing who is boring," Vyn plainly said.

As his name was mentioned, Artem arched his brow in disapproval. “Such a bold statement, Vyn. As if I’m the boring one, you look and act like the most complex person I can’t translate in simple terms,” he scoffed.

“Okay, can we just stop arguing and go back to the main topic? Clairemont just texted that she would try to join alongside us if work doesn’t overtake her,” Marius called out.

Artem and Vyn went silent as they kept glaring through their tables. Luke and Marius looked at each other, shaking their heads in disappointment.

A regular day at the NXX Headquarters. Clairemont left earlier to focus on another important task, which settled the boys for a trip to the amusement park.

By the end of the day, it looks like there is going to be a challenge awaiting ahead.

Saturday. Families usually spend their days Saturday. Families usually spend their days outside of their homes, enjoying the activities with their children.

One of the most famous amusement parks is Stellis Wonderland Park, where it owns the legendary Fantasy House. Inside the house contains a treasure that only the lucky people can find.

Of course, the park has the usual stuff like roller coasters or the Ferris Wheel and the food. Luke can't wait to eat cotton candy or kettle corn.

Marius was the first guy to arrive there, wearing a black polo shirt and matching jeans with sneakers. Although his life screams rich, he prefers not to flaunt his rich status.

"Where are those guys? It's almost 10 a.m.!" he thought.

Then, Artem and Vyn entered the scene. Marius almost burst into laughter as they were not wearing formal clothes for once. He could give them brownie points for coming on time, and not standing out from the crowd.

“Finally! It’s great that you’re wearing sweaters and coats and not ties or suits. Looking at you, Artem,” Marius complimented, then gave a stare to the latter.

“Ah, so you think I have poor taste in fashion. This is the best-looking turtleneck I could find in my closet," Artem glanced at his clothes.

"Look at Vyn, he prefers to wear a button-up shirt with his slacks and you never called him out," he bluntly stated.

"Let's not talk about my fashion. Besides, I look casual enough to blend in," he calmly responded.

Artem looked away with an irritated look. Marius laughed then said, "Anyway, where's Luke?"

Suddenly, Luke rushed to the group, placing his hands on his hips. "There you are! Artem, you promised that you would wait for me," he pouted.

"You just said that I would go ahead. You were too busy looking at some puppies by the window. Be glad that I sent you the location," Artem explained.

Marius looked up from his phone, saying, "Guys, I think we have bad news. Clairemont isn't coming with us because she is babysitting her neighbor's kids. She said that we can enjoy the park without her."

"How sad. I was looking forward to meeting her," Artem sighed sadly. The others looked to him, in small jealousy as he huffed.

"Well, looks like we're all here! Let's get our tickets and enjoy the amusement park!" Marius declared. As they went to the entrance, Marius paid for their tickets and started their day at the amusement park.

Meanwhile, you were also at the amusement park with your little brother and your dad. This is your first experience at nine years old, after convincing your parents to visit the park.

Your reason? Everyone already had a chance to go to the famous park, except you.

As you munched on your snow cone, you held onto your brother's hands as your father guarded you two on the bench. Then, your father became a bit frantic as he couldn't find what he was looking for.

You planned for the next part of the trip when you saw a lost wallet in the middle of the bricked road. As you picked it up, your first instinct was to go to the “Lost and Found” office.

Without knowing, you looked at the nearest map and followed its directions. When you arrived there, someone was asking the employee if anyone saw their wallet.

"Excuse me, Ma'am. I found a wallet on the ground. Does this belong to you?" you politely asked them.

The person turned around and gasped as they saw the wallet in your hand. "Oh, you found it!" they exclaimed.

"It's yours? I haven't checked what's inside yet," you said.

Then, the person introduced, "My name is Chelsea Scott. It's on my ID."

You took a quick look on the inside and it's the accurate person. Returning the wallet, she thanked you for your honesty and rewarded you with a small token.

It's wrapped neatly so you thanked her back and said your goodbyes. It was unfortunate by the time you came back, your father and your brother weren't there.

Normally, your first reaction is to cry in tears. But, you remained calm and tried to find a way.

You started by calling from your phone, but this part of the area has poor reception. You couldn't even retrace your steps as it would be worse than now.

Having no other decisions, you sat on the same bench. Your thoughts started to race until you were approached by a stranger and a small group.

"Are you lost? Where is your family?"

The Lost Child of Stellis - Notes

Note 1: My MC is named Clairemont. She has a minor appearance in this book because the main focus is going to be you, the child reader. Oh, the four men too.

Note 2: I don't own these characters, as they belong to miHoYo. Please support the game by downloading it on Android and iOS!

Note 3: All books of this collection are gender-neutral although I usually write in the 2nd POV. You just choose any character to continue the story.

Note 4: On Wattpad and AO3, some parts were changed. Well, I placed an urgent note (you can read it below) that I rewritten them after noticing a major problem that needs to be corrected.

Urgent Note: Hello. I noticed how I handled the lost child storyline poorly and I just researched that when a child is lost, the child should stay where they are so the parents might find them. If they are seen as lost, the adult can call the authorities.

OKAY OKAY I have a new idea to share.

If you have seen this show in the Philippines, it's the perfect parody that I could write out.

The summary is Billie (main girl) has personal issues. One day, she saved a red balloon which she met with four guys. THOSE. four guys compete with each other to get her heart and ultimately, she chose one of them.

If this exists, who would you been rooting for?

Artem would be playing Yuan because the latter doesn't play around and is just serious until he softens up in the series.

Jai is somewhat of a flirting type of character. So it makes sense that it also fits with Marius.

HAHAHA This guy reminds me of Ethan except that Ethan's not a psychiatrist. They're both polite that I could've been crushing on them 😍

Rosa = Billie

She is focused on work, kinda dislikes one man because he's annoying and she is not interested in romance.

But, of course, there's a difference between them. Those three are just some similarities.

I'm having fun writing this, Artem and Vyn's little argument is one of the best parts 😂

I am actually one of the people who pre-registered as soon as I saw this game on Google Play Store. It supposed to be played on the day it came out, but my Oppo phone said no 🥲

That is, until I got a new phone, a Samsung phone.

One of my first instances was to download Wattpad, a few stuff, Tears of Themis and Obey Me! (I'll talk about the latter soon)

And thus, I enjoyed the game without problems. I got the rewards (which were overwhelming, but I digress) and a great tutorial on how the game works. Mind you, this is my first otome game experience!

I'm currently on Episode 2, so I still have a long way to go. This game will forever be in my memory ❤️❤️❤️

(oh, and here's an out of context Luke Pearce screenshot, but man, all four of them are so handsome!)

I think this is why I love TOT dudes so much. They appear a trope but instead, are a full exploration and deconstruction of that trope.

From Artem appearing like a Cold Black Suit Boss trope but actually being just some dude who is actually really kind and awkward, learning to better socialise.

From Marius appearing like a Spoiled Rich Boy trope to actually being just someone struggling with ambition and responsibilities of his family name.

From Luke appearing like Childhood Friend Sunshine trope to being just someone struggling with being seriously ill, hypocritical due to his circumstances and seriously self destructive.

And.. well, it's a little hard to dissect Vyn to a trope but I think I have made my point already.

I just love these boys SO much and they all have so much love to give. So much kindness to show. So much affection to lay.

the take of "artem is so boring i don't get why people like him" always makes me laugh because like. .. wording aside, that's kinda the point! the appeal?!

he's introduced as this Serious and Cold suit wearing senior attorney of themis, which in most otome would indicate your typical Sexy and Smooth Daddy Dom. like. the first official art we see of him is him sweating and pulling his tie loose. upon global launch, advertisements for tot always included the first evo of his atmospherics ssr out of context.

but the twist is that he's just A Dude. he's respectful and gentle with rosa. he struggles to make friends because he's really socially awkward, takes his work seriously, and has a resting bitch face. he has a film review blog and likes to write fan scripts. his dad wasn't around much and rarely visits. despite appearances, he is deeply empathetic. he's surprisingly idealistic in regards to his work and the impact he wants to make on the city. he grew up not wanting to cause trouble for the adults in his life and as a result has great difficulty acknowledging what he's struggling with and expressing how he feels. he's easily flustered. he has been called out on his bullshit several times by rosa. his father figure is missing and he would do anything to save him. he is earnest in all he does. he is only friends with one person at work and that's celestine, the founder of the law firm and a family friend of his mother's. he's endearing!

despite the prestige and pedestals people place artem on, he is literally just A Dude and i think that's neat
