X-Key on the type R with rifle mount. Part of a graphic that went unused for C2E2. I thought it looked cool so at least I can share it here.

Sharing another older design. X-Key in flight gear, she wears her hair differently with this outfit.The mask for this outfit is also a little different in the final version. Because she often changes her looks I try to use little touches on the designs and symbols to represent X-Key

Just really felt like drawing Lilith today. The original sketch was drawn with pencils and ink, then colors, shading values, and line art were added in Photoshop using a Cintiq 24hd drawing tablet.

A quick sketch of Rain that was colored on the Cintiq. I guess it looks like I will end up doing one of each of the Rebellion characters.

This started out as a simple sketch of X-Key, but I added color and went over the line art with the Cintiq. Drawing the line art with a tablet presents many advantages, but can also be challenging. -JC

Emily Bennett-Clark. An important figure in the history of X-Key. During the dawn of the 22nd century she leads the motorcycle gang known as the "The Riders". A digital sketch made in Adobe Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq Companion.

Working out the color scheme for one of the younger versions of X-Key. She has less color and her hair and resembles the original concept version a little more. This is an outfit for the story entitled "First Ride", which tells about her early life in the city of Oasis. The original drawing was made with pencils and colored in Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq 22.
