Harry gave him a grin. "No, thank you. I do apricate the concern. Not a lot of people would bother to check. Everyone is busy inside" Harry gave a quick glance over to the on going party inside. He had been in crowds like these since he could remember. But sometimes he too had to step away to collect himself. "That is fair. We all have our limits. Well I don't mind if you stick around out here. I don't have any plans on going back just yet. Besides the overwhelming crowds, you enjoying tonight? I've always loved Versailles."

“ Just  checking  up,  being  a  Good  Samaritan  and  all  that, ”  Micah  bantered  back,  not  meaning  to  cause  any  offense  to  the  older  man.  It  was  his  protective  nature,  coming  out  regardless  of  who  he  was  speaking  to.  “ Me?  I  don’t  do  well  with  crowds.  Never  really  have.  After  a  while  I  felt  like  the  room  was  crushing  me  so  I  came  out  to  get  fresh  air  and  look  at  the  gardens.  Not  a  wild  answer  or  anything. ”

Harry kept his grin. He was loving the vibes of the party so far. So many people were up to have fun. "Of course. I don't think it's allowed to not being drinking while in France." Harry gratefully took his own glass. This clearly wasn't his first one of the night. "Cheer, mate." He raised his glass with him. He took a long drink. "This place is truly amazing. I've been to France before but I've never got a chance to visit the Palace of Versailles."

- hamza looked down at himself , worried for a second that the thing he'd forgotten was his pants . once he saw he was fully dressed , he gave a sigh of relief . head tilted to the side in confusion though about what he could be forgetting until own question was answered . " oh you mean alcohol ... that makes a lotta sense now . don't have to ask me twice . " he grinned , plucking two of the glasses of the tray and passing one over to the other . " cheers . "

Harry couldn't help but keep his smile. "Come on. I'm not stupid. Drunk, but not stupid." Harry took a sip at his drink. "I've been watching you for a second. I know something is up." This was a party. He wanted to have a little fun. "I'll pay to know. Name your price. I won't snitch if there is a secret gathering in the gardens or something."

               facial  features  quickly  mask  innocence  as  she  pulls  herself  back  into  the  present  moment,  looking  upwards  towards  the  other  with  wide  eyes.  “  ——  i  simply  have  no  idea  what  you’re  talking  about.  ”

As soon as Harry approached the bar, he waved over the bartender for a shot. The flutes of champagne were not going to work anymore for him. "Thank you" He chuckled at the man's joke. Taking his first sip, he looked back at the party. Harry was used to these amount of people but from time to time he needed some room to breath. "Not insufferable, I've been to events bigger. I just needed to step away. I suppose all of this can be a lot." He introduced himself. "I'm Harry." He extended his hand.

◜   ♱   :   "    not    at    all,    i'd    hate    to    be    the    one    drinking    up    the    bar    tab.    "    humour    lingers    by    the    edge,    legarthic    gaze    thrown    haphazardly    over    his    shoulder    for    a    brief    moment,    "    the    whole    thing's    a    bit    insufferable,    isn't    it    ?    "  

He extend his hand for her to take and lead her to the dance floor. It had been a while since Harry saw Julieta. "You look amazing." He was pleasantly surprised to see her at the event. "How are you enjoying the party so far? You meet a lot of interesting people at things like this. "

doe-eyed femme swivels to face source of masculine timbre , her ivory ensemble flittering due to movement . “  i'd like that very much .  ” small smile beginning to form , the suggestion was UNEXPECTED considering the eyes on his every action .

"That's the way to do it. I think most of my first auditions were won by a swig of liquid courage." He continued to sip at his current drink. "You don't have to tell me twice. I'll gladly have a dance with you." Harry finished his own drink before heading to the dance floor with her.

     “     just when i've had one too many drinks to make me ballsy,   ” blonde chuckles. not one to drink too much, but tonight was an exception, she was celebrating.     “     so, are you going to take me out for a dance or what?   ”

"I'm just getting old and getting turned around. Or my amount of drinks I've had tonight." He couldn't decided which one was right. Harry laughed it off. He was just here to have some fun. "I suppose you're right about that. Real glad I ran into you then. You seem to have gotten a hold of the layout." Then an idea popped into his head. "I think it might be a good idea to keep you by my side. For a while, you probably have others you want to be with I'm sure."

polite  smile  lingers  on  petals  as  she  accepted  the  other's  words,  groomed  into  docility  as  child  but  hunger  for  more  changed  her  ⸺  chameleon  that  easily  switches  natures,  it  makes  violetta  so  good  at  her  job.  "  i  believe  it's  more  the  amount  of  people  and  the  costumes,  it  all  seems  so  familiar  —  no  point  of  recognition  to  draw  back  on,  "  she  suggests,  furthering  the  conversation  between  the  pair  with  light  tones.

"How many glasses have you had tonight that you already forgot?" He teased. He wasn't going to shame her. That's why they were here. For a good time. "No worries. That's why I am here. We were on our way to the next room. For some extra activities to bring this night up a notch. But if you want to duel, I think I could pull out that sword over there."

the homme's question hangs in the air as brown optics dart around the ballroom, taking in the lavish surroundings adorned with gilded mirrors and elaborate chandeliers. she takes a sip of her drink, casting a sidelong glance at her companion. 〝 oh, i'm almost sure we are, 〞 she drawls, her red lipstick accentuating the playful smirk on her face. 〝 though, i must confess, i don't remember what i agreed to. did i accidentally sign up for a duel, a dance or perhaps just a scandalous tête-à-tête in the gardens ? 〞

He laughed at her response. He wouldn't put it pass it them that were was some sort of room like that here. But that's not what he was going to. "No, no. Nothing like that." He took a sip of his glass of wine with his free hand. He took a hold of her hand as soon as she slipped into his. "But I can't say anything about some fun party favors later on. I might know I guy that is here." Harry lead them through the crowds. "What I was going to show was this room that some have moved to I heard it's more lively."

"Are you taking to me some kind of secret sex dungeon Harry, because I can promise you it won't go down well. Not unless you also have some nose dust tucked away too." Esmay replied skeptically, reaching out to grab hold of his hand as he moved towards the next room, conscious she might lose him in the crowed otherwise. "Then again it would still be better than this."

He appreciated the concern. "I know I might not look like I can party still, but I hold out a bit longer." He just needed another drink to keep him going. "I've been going to events like this for years. The French just do it a little different. How about you? What made you step out in the gardens?"

Harry couldn't but over hear. "A moment of peace tonight? That might be hard to come by." Harry gave a glance over that massive amount of people here. "Are you doing alright? What has you so stress? We are in France. In a palace."

" will you dance with me ?" He was being bold by asking. But what was the harm of it. They were in this massively public party, no one would question the pair partaking in a dance.

"Aren’t you forgetting something?" Harry eyed the tray of champagne flutes that they hadn't touched yet. "You got to have at least one drink tonight."

With his third glass of wine in hand, he pondered. "Hmm, I supposed I could help you. What could go wrong tonight?" He took one more sip. "How can I help?"
