Can we please stop making unwanted, antagonistic rivalries between Percy and the people he genuinely cares about? It's getting tiresome.

Like, some of y'all act like Percy killed Bianca and then laughed in Nico's face with how much part of the fandom likes to act like Percy doesn't care. They'll talk about how he said that he wanted to cut Nico's 'stupid head off,' like he would ever actually do that. Like the same guy who hesitated to harm Luke when he was possessed by Kronos would actually follow through on what was a visceral reaction to betrayal when Percy knew that people's lives were on the line. Like he didn't spend months and months of searching for Nico, concerned for his safety. Like he didn't hide his parentage, wanting to make sure that the other campers didn't treat him differently as a son of Hades. Like he didn't steel his resolve to be the one to fulfill the prophecy so Nico wouldn't be in more danger than necessary. Like he didn't introduce Nico when he first appears in Percy's dream in the Last Olympian as 'My friend, Nico.'

And then there's Leo. And sure, Leo was angry at Percy at first because Calypso thought he had abandoned her to her fate, and that was the side of the story that Leo heard. But some people act like he actually did so, ignoring the fact that he made the gods promise on the River Styx to free her, something that they were then bound to do. And then he was kidnapped and put to sleep for months with his memories wiped. Where on earth would he have had the time to ensure they kept their promise? Even Leo, who still didn't know the whole story, essentially went, "Damn you, you're impossible to stay mad at." Yes, they had a rocky start, but they do form a genuine friendship.

And Will. While I think it be cool to explore how Will felt during the second Titan war, and all the angst that came with it, I don't think he'd blame Percy for Michael's death. Perhaps at first, or maybe even as a little voice in the back of his head, but that isn't going to stop him caring about the campers, Percy included. Y'all act like he wouldn't chain Percy to an infirmary bed if he learned just how many times Percy has had suicidal thoughts or feelings.

 OkAY so Will’s tattoo in Tower of Nero got me thinking about the 7 getting tattoos aaand then I digressed SO...

-The Greeks absolutely start getting bad ass tattoos after seeing the ones that Camp Jupiter have

-Will, Rachel, and the Stolls run an underground tattoo parlor and campers sneak down to her cave and come out looking like the baddest of asses with their tattoos 

- Annabeth gets a little Delta tattoo on her wrist in honor of Daedalus

-She also gets one on her side under the arm to honor Luke with the year he was born and the year he died

-Piper gets lyrics of the Cherokee songs her grandpa knew she would one day sing across her back

-Also she gets a lip ring, like the ones that go through the middle of your bottom lip uGh yes

-LEO leo Leo LEO he gets the coolest tattoos man, he gets one of the Morse Code patter he and his mom tapped to each other on his collar bone  

-Also he gets the words FLAME on one foot and the word ON on the other no I will not elaborate

-SO many piercings all self given cuz he get BoArd this boy has piercings in his belly button and his nipples and his nose and his ears and his eye brow and like just in his shoulder cuz fuck it but he never wears any of them

-Until people ask him to put all of them in and he is literally 10 pounds heavier

-He has a tongue ring and he always wears that one its so good man

-Ok hear me out Frank gets sO many tattoos like all the way up his arm and chest-- think Maui from Moana

-He gets one to represent his mom, and one for each of his friends, and like all of the animals in the WOrLd and also the Canadian flag cuz he can

-Now Hazel doesn’t get any tattoos but don’t for a minutes think that she doesn't help design all of them

-OK so Nico has actual bad ass piercings, like he has the coolest gauges cuz he’s our emo boy and three above his eye brow and all three nose piercings that he cycles through

-I don’t know if Nico has tattoos but what I DO know is that he is fabulous at makeup, in the mornings sometimes Will asks him to do his make up and he does the most fabulous blended eye shadow and wings and inTenSe glitter on the cheekbones cuz he lives vicariously through Will

-Now Jason might not have started wanting any tattoos cuz he’s Jason but, again hear me out, he goes to support Leo getting a tattoo but leaves with a big ass lighting McQueen tattoo on his pectoral all the way up to his shoulder with the words Kachow right above his neckline 

-He loves showing it off and at any given moment it is his pride and joy, people ask about the Kachow above his shirt and he IMMEDIATELY takes have his shirt to show off his lightning McQueen

-And then he escalates to the point that Piper dies blue lighting bolt streaks in his hair and that’s the end of that 

-PERCY gets tattoos every time someone is scared about getting one, so he has the most random and at the same time meaningful tattoos

-He has one about the Dam bathroom and one on the small of back where is Achilles heal was that somehow involves Annabeth and so many disney tattoos, oH and one that says you drool when you sleep

-ALSO he has a ton of ear piercings cuz when he was growing up he thorught the way his mom had so many ear piercings was so cool and wanted to grow up and get them just like her

-They have SEVERAL matching earrings that he always wears with piercings all the way up his ear

-This boy is a jewelry boy, he and Annabeth have cheesy matching friendship bracelets that say Seaweed Brain and Wise Girl and Tyson makes him the coolest earrings, bracelets, and rings in the forges

-AND and and he wears nail polish all the time, he and Annabeth paint their nails together and he has the coolest blue colors to do it 

-Not to make you cry or anything but when he loses his memory he refuses to take off his earrings or let his nails get at all chipped cuz he knows they’re important to him and he’s afraid if he chips his nail polish off he’ll forget Annabeth completely

Okay, so-

Ok so there’s this fanfiction I remember reading years back — and it’s changed my life. I distinctly remember it being called “I thou” (ik it doesn’t make sense, but that’s what I remember). I remember it ended on a pretty depressing note, where Nico asks will if he’ll ever recover— to which will replies with something like “let’s keep living” (or something). I also remember Nico suffering through several illnesses, and I remember this one scene where he’s at a bridge, begging for will to heal him. It’s also from fanfiction.net from what I remember — but I can’t find it for the life of me. Whoever finds it will literally be my life and savior - pls help TT. found this on Reddit, post by @Smellylefttoes if you are interested. Anyways, Now I wanna read it and can't find it. HElppppp!

So imagine that Will died on a quest and his body was somehow brought back and he was buried and this happened- Nico summoned Will's ghost using the McDonald's Happy Meal. Nico broke down completely and yelled at Will for going on that dam quest. Will then tried to comfort Nico by wrapping his arms around him, forgetting that he was a ghost. His arms went through Nico's body. They both realised the sad truth that they would never be as they were before.

COPING (A Solangelo mortal-AU Fanfiction)

T/W Nico POV: My face was bruised with scars and wounds, my hands were littered with scars, some self inflicted, others from the abuse. Some days were better than others, when we could be an almost normal family, almost. Others were worse. Normal days were very rare. When I was younger, my father would return drunk everyday, he said it was coping. So, I followed in his footsteps. Everyday, he would hit me, with a belt, empty bottles, whatever would be nearby. One day, I ran away. I had dealt with enough, but, my father was an influencial person, I was found and sent back. I got beaten harshly that day, but I remained hopeful. Now, slowly, that hope seemed to be seeping through the cracks of the hardwood floor along with my blood. I was to be going to Olympian High, a prestigious school meant for preppy, rich kids. I had one job, to be one of them. My father had dared me to mess this up as one of his colleagues' child went there. I think he said the name was Will Solace. I looked at the clock hanging from the dull, grey wall. It was 6:45, school started at 7. I hastily wrapped bandages around my bleeding wrists. No time to sterilise them. I put on a black shirt along with black, ripped jeans. Once I had made sure that my attire matched my soul, I spared another glance at the clock, 6:50, ten minutes till school started. I threw the bag pack on my shoulders and ran out of my room and down the stairs. Once I was outside the house, I ran towards the school, it was nearby, fortunately. I ran past speeding cars and towards the bright building ahead of me. Once I finally reached the gates, I slowed down. I walked into the building and looked at my routine which had been delivered to me beforehand. First class was English, great. I dragged my sleep deprived ass to the classroom. It was an all too familiar pattern. I entered the class, which has disgustingly bright walls. It was as if the school was built to oppose me. Luckily, the teacher hadn't arrived, so I quickly found a seat, not noticing who sat next to. Beside me sat the most stunningly beautiful boy ever, he had lustrous blond hair and startling blue eyes, with a tan complexion. His face was littered with freckles and his body was muscular. He was wearing a bright yellow hoodie and cargo shots which really suited him. "Hi, I'm Will Solace, can I help you?" Oh great, I just had to fall in love with Will Solace. "No you may not." I replied, snarkily. I regretted it immediately when the boy's face drooped an his eyes dimmed. "Okay." I decided to apologise, a feat I had never taken before. I sighed. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm just not used to this." "Its okay, I'll help you out." I smiled.
