Hi! Do you only write fanfic for SW? Would you write something in the universe of write me in? I would love to read about finn logan and leo being together after the end of wmi, seeing how their relationship with leo evolves as finnlo becomes public!
(i love all your fics, you're amazing!!!)
Of COURSE I'll write stuff in this AU! It's so cute, and I absolutely adore it. I'm happy to write in almost any AU you all want. :)
Disclaimer: this work by @lumosinlove is not actually finished yet, so what I am writing is not necessarily canon, but an imagined extension of the story we have already written for us. I highly recommend you read it if you haven't!
TW: mention of nefarious activities, but nothing explicit, as per usual. :)

Leo felt his phone vibrate as soon as he stepped into his building’s elevator. He rolled out his shoulders and let out an exasperated sigh, but smiled as soon as he saw the screen. Difficult little rockstar, it said, with a picture of Finn on Leo’s family boat in New Orleans, looking up at the camera as he sat on the seat, all sunburnt and happy. Leo let it ring for a moment, just to look at Finn’s gorgeous freckles a bit longer, before picking up. “Hello?”
“Hi, sunshine! Good day?” Finn sounded bright, a contrast to the rain that was pouring outside.
“All right, yeah,” Leo answered. “Long day at work, lots of editing. Went on a run this morning, so that was nice.”
Leo could hear Finn’s pout. “Without me?”
The elevator door dinged and Leo stepped out, amused. “Sweetheart, you’re busy, and you live a forty minute train ride away. I can do long runs on the weekends with you, but not on a Tuesday at five in the morning.”
Leo would bet anything that that bottom lip was still stuck out. “Why do you live so far?” Finn groaned.
“Because I’m not a difficult little rockstar.” Leo moved the phone to hold it with his shoulder as he dug for his keys. “I can’t afford a penthouse.”
“You know, it doesn’t have to be a penthouse! There are other options.”
“None within my budget, I’m afraid. It’s okay, I’ll travel anywhere to eat those croissants from the place a couple blocks down.”
“I thought you came to visit us?”
Leo bit his lip as he shut the apartment door behind him. “That, too.” He shucked off his shoes and flopped on the couch with a groan. “It’s been a long day, fuck me.”
“Well, not when you’re forty minutes away.”
Leo rolled his eyes and felt his cheeks warm. “Shut up.”
“I bet all my penthouse rent that you’re blushing right now.”
“You can’t see me.”
“But I know you. And I love you. I know you and I love you, so I know you’re blushing.” He lowered his voice as if to keep their conversation private. “I’ll travel forty minutes to make you blush more, sunshine, if you want.”
Leo tisked. “Aren’t you supposed to be at the studio?”
“Yeah, I’m taking a break. We’ve recorded these damn backing harmonies so many times I’ll be singing them in my sleep.”
“Well,” Leo said, standing to stretch and walk to his bedroom. “We can FaceTime later if you want.” He paused to roll out his neck. “Is Lo there?”
“Nah, he’s not needed for this. I think he’d actually throw the producer’s notebook at the wall if he was here.”
Leo laughed. “Well, then I’m glad he’s not there, then.”
Finn hummed. “Actually, I think you’ll really like where Logan is right now.”
“What?” Leo furrowed his brow as he pushed open his bedroom door. “What do you mean-” He let out a gasp and then smiled. “Oh.”
Logan was in the middle of his bed on his stomach, starfished out as if reaching for them in his sleep. He was in one of Leo’s sweatshirts, one from his college newspaper that he wrote for, and his hair was a mess of long waves. The sheets were pooled low, and the hoodie had ridden up, so Leo got a clear view of the warm, soft skin of Logan’s lower back. Leo lowered his voice as he spoke into the phone.
“Is this a surprise?” he whispered.
“Oo-ways, peanut butter,” Finn said. “Is he sleeping?”
“Yeah.” Leo started moving towards the bed.
“Go on, wake him up. We can say hi together.”
“Okay. I’ll put you on speaker and on the pillow, but don’t make a sound yet, ‘kay?”
“Roger that, babe.”
Leo set his phone down on the pillow unoccupied by Logan’s head and knelt on the mattress. Logan looked so peaceful and relaxed. Leo admired the way his long eyelashes casted shadows over his upper cheeks, and how his perfect Cupid’s bow lips were parted and squished against the pillow. He ran a hand through Logan’s hair softly before settling it on his lower back.
“Logan.” When that still didn’t rouse him, Leo began to press kisses to the back of his neck. “Lo, sweetheart, I’m home.”
There was the tensing of Logan’s muscles as he woke up, then they relaxed once more against the sheets with a deep breath. “Soleil.”
Leo smiled wider. Logan hadn’t even opened his eyes. “Hi, honey. Good nap?”
Logan just made a sleepy affirmative sound and rolled over onto his side, green eyes now looking into Leo’s own. He lifted an arm up. “Ici, mon coeur.”
“One sec.” Leo picked up his phone in his left hand and joined Logan in the bed. He wrapped his arm around Logan’s waist and looped it up around his shoulder to hold the phone above them. He pressed a kiss to Logan’s forehead as he tangled their legs. “Say hi to Fish, sweetheart.”
“Hey, sweet thing.”
Logan’s smile was tired, but content. “Rouge.”
“That’s me. Hey, I kept the surprise a secret, are you proud?”
Leo felt Logan’s amused huff against his neck. “Ouais, so proud.”
“Aw, shucks, baby, thanks.” There was some noise on the other line. “Hey, look, I gotta go, but I love you both very much, okay? I’ll see you soon, I’m stopping by after work, Le.”
Leo just shook his head fondly. “I can’t stop you, can I?”
“Nor would you want to. Okay, goodbye, I love you, love you, love you, love you-”
Logan laughed. “Ouais, je t’aime, mon rouge.”
“Love you, sweetheart,” Leo whispered.
“I love you!” Then the line went dead.
Leo threw his phone towards the end of the bed and wrapped Logan up properly. “That key I gave you came in handy, huh?”
“Mhm.” Logan yawned and nuzzled closer. “Missed you. I wanted to see you.” He kissed Leo’s jaw. “Good surprise?”
“Of course.” Leo palmed the skin of Logan’s hip. “I like your sweatshirt.”
Logan bit at Leo’s skin. “I like you.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Ouais. I love you.”
“Well how about that?” Leo hovered above him to kiss him lingeringly. “I love you, too.”
Logan reached up for him. “Come back.”
“Hold on, sweetheart, let me change into some comfy clothes.”
Leo left Logan alone and dozing for a few minutes to change into some joggers and a sweatshirt. It was one of Finn’s that he stole, a well-worn New York Rangers hoodie, and he played with the hood strings as he knelt back on the bed to pull back the covers.
“When does Finn get out?” he asked in French.
“Around seven. He’s got the other key you gave us.” Logan opened his arms again for Leo to settle into. “He said he’d bring dinner. From that Thai place we both like.”
“Oh, that sounds so good right now.” Leo let out a sigh and allowed his weight to settle into the bed. “Best Tuesday ever.”
Logan hummed and squeezed Leo tighter. “Sleep.”
“You read my mind.” Leo brushed Logan’s hair back from his face to look at his droopy green eyes. “How do you do that?”
Logan’s smile was warm. “Because I love you.”
“I love you.” Leo nudged their noses together then cupped Logan’s head to his chest. “Nap, sweetheart, until Finn gets here.”
Logan just let out a content sigh and kissed his chin before they both closed their eyes.
***
Leo woke up a while later to a hand running gently through his hair. He leaned into the touch and opened his eyes, stretching his toes towards the end of the bed. When he was met with a freckled grin and soft brown eyes framed by dark glasses, he smiled. “Hi.”
“Hi, baby.” Finn leaned down and kissed his forehead. “How are you?”
“Good.” Leo pressed into the hand still carding through his curls. “You’re here.”
“Of course I am. Got my boys all cozy and waiting in bed for me.”
Leo shifted a bit to get a hand on the back of Finn’s neck and drew him down for a kiss. “You want to stay the night? I don’t want you going out in the dark.”
Finn bit his lip playfully. “You know I can just call my driver.”
Leo nipped his lip back. “Maybe I just want you to wake up in my bed.”
“Can’t argue with that.” Finn’s pleased eyes flitted to look over Leo’s shoulder. “Good morning, grumpy.”
Leo turned to find green eyes examining them both. Logan just let out a tired grunt from the back of his throat and stretched in Leo’s arms. “Salut.”
Finn leaned over Leo’s body to kiss Logan, too, before sitting up and away. Leo thought he looked so handsome in his plum quarter zip and jeans. “You hungry, lovers? Got some Thai for you.”
“Thank you, sweetheart,” Leo said. He kissed Logan’s cheek. “C’mon, honey, gotta get up.” And Logan’s groan, Leo smiled and scratched a hand through his hair. “You’ve been so lazy this afternoon. Just sleeping.”
Logan let out another groan and began to roll off the bed. He sat on the edge and rubbed his face with his hands with a yawn. “Merde.” He stretched his arms above his head and stood, smiling at them both. “Salut.”
“Hi, baby.” Finn held out a hand to pull Leo up off the bed and into a kiss. “And my other baby. Hungry?”
“Starving.”
Ten minutes later, they were sitting at Leo’s small dining room table with heaps of take out boxes in front of them. Leo and Logan had both laughed when they saw how much food Finn brought, but he’d just smiled and said he couldn’t choose just three dishes, opening the box of chicken satay. Leo couldn’t say he wasn’t grateful- the leftovers would likely last him for at least two days.
“Thank you for dinner, sweetheart,” Leo said, scooping some Massaman curry onto his rice.
Finn smiled up briefly from his own plate. “Of course, Le. You had a long day.”
Leo hummed around a bite. “It just dragged on. The whole day I was thinking about coming back and watching that new show I started.” He reached out and squeezed Logan’s hand. “But my surprise was better.”
Logan took his fingers and kissed him. “Bien.”
Leo took up his fork again. “Do you guys need anything to stay the night? It’s been a while, I’m usually at your place.”
Finn shook his head. “Nope, brought a bag. No comfy clothes, though, so I guess we’ll have to borrow yours, unfortunately.”
“Shame,” Leo said sarcastically.
Finn shrugged his shoulders. “What can you do?” He then gave Logan a meaningful look, one that Leo didn’t understand. He’d gotten good at reading them in the year and half they’d been together, and most of the time he could, but sometimes the fact that they’d known each other for much longer caught up with them, and Leo was left trying to put the pieces together.
“What?” Leo asked, looking between them. He sank a little into his seat. “Is there something wrong?”
Both of them turned abruptly to him, eyes wide in surprise. Finn shook his head rapidly back and forth and took Leo’s hand. “No, no, Le, baby, nothing’s wrong.” He laughed nervously. “Actually, we wanted to ask you something.”
Leo furrowed his eyebrows. “Okay…”
Logan shifted his chair closer and rested a hand on Leo’s upper thigh. His green eyes were earnest. “We were wondering…” He looked at Finn briefly, who smiled and gave him an encouraging nod. When Logan caught Leo’s eye again, he was smiling, too. “How would you feel if this was one of the last nights spent in this apartment?”
Leo felt his heart stop for a minute. “What? You mean…”
Finn kissed his fingers. “Move in with us, baby.”
Leo brought his free hand to his mouth. He felt his eyes starting to become wet. “Really?”
Logan let out a teary laugh and squeezed Leo’s thigh. “Ouais, mon coeur. Move in with us.”
“Oh my God.” Leo knew his grip on Finn’s hand was tight, but he couldn’t seem to let go. He nodded his head and looked between them. “Yes. Oh my God, yes.”
The next thing he knew his face was being gripped between Logan’s hands as he pressed kisses all over Leo’s cheeks. They were both laughing and crying as Leo reached out to draw him into his lap. He felt Logan’s warm weight settle over his thighs as a different pair of hands came to run their fingers through his hair and eventually settle on the base of his neck. Leo turned his face blindly for Finn’s mouth, Logan moving to kiss down the side of his neck. Leo kissed Finn hard before pulling back to look at him. “Are you sure?”
“Of course we are, what kind of question is that?” Finn was standing above him and smiling so wide almost all his teeth were showing. “We miss you when you’re not there. It’s not home without you, baby.”
That made Leo close his eyes, a tear slipping out and falling down his cheek. He felt Logan gently kiss it away. “Mon coeur.”
“I’m sorry,” Leo whispered. “I just- to hear you say that, I-” He cut himself off and took in a shaky breath before opening his eyes again. Logan had settled himself into the crook of Leo’s neck and Finn was cupping Leo’s jaw gently. Leo took a deep breath. “It’s not that I don’t know that you love me. It’s just that, you’ve been together for longer, and were public together before being public with me, and even still people aren’t really aware. And there are times when you’re away for so long anyways, I guess- I don’t know, I guess I just thought it was easier, having two separate places, so people didn’t speculate as much. That it was safer for you.”
Finn made a soft sound and kissed Leo’s forehead hard. “What, did you think we wouldn’t want you to come live with us? We love you, baby. We want you forever, and we want you home.”
“Ouais,” Logan said. Leo turned to look at him, and Logan kissed him gently before continuing. “And we don’t care what people think.” He flicked his eyes to Finn before kissing Leo again. “We were thinking of taking a break. Of being home with you.”
Leo sniffed, wiping his cheek. “Huh?”
Finn leaned down to drape his arms over Leo’s shoulders. “The album’s almost done. And normally we’d be planning a tour, or something, but we thought- maybe we delay this tour by a couple years.”
Leo’s eyes widened. “What? I can’t ask you to do-”
“You’re not asking us to do anything, baby,” Finn said. He let out a sigh into Leo’s neck. “Honestly, I’m really tired. I love music, and I love performing, but… I don’t know, maybe we do a New York concert series for a couple weeks after the album is out, but then we just want to stay home with you. Maybe write a bit, spend time with friends and family, do some volunteering, and just be with each other.”
“Oui,” Logan whispered. His hands were mindlessly running through Leo’s hair. “We want to stay still for a while.”
“Settle,” Finn contributed.
“Ouais, settle.” Logan touched their foreheads together. “I thought I had everything, when I got Finn, but something inside of me was still- restless. I thought it was because we were moving so much, but then I met you, mon soleil. And for the first time, I felt still inside.” He kissed Leo’s cheek. “So let us be still together, for a while.”
“And who knows,” Finn said. “Maybe after a few years, we come back and do a tour, but this time engaged.”
Leo breathed in so sharply that he had to clear his throat. “What?”
Finn knew he’d got him. Leo could tell by the smile that was pressed into his neck. “I said what I said.”
“But, you two-”
“Are not getting married without you, mon amour.” Logan’s eyes were amused now. “I thought you knew that.”
“Oh.” Leo felt his heart in his throat. “You mean…”
“I’m not proposing now,” Logan said gently, smiling at them both. “But when I do, I’ll put a ring on both your fingers.”
Finn cupped his jaw softly with one hand. “And who says it’ll be you that proposes first?”
Logan’s grin was a bit fond, a bit mischievous. “Because it’s a competition. And I like to win.”
Finn’s eyebrows shot up. “Is that right?”
“Ouais.”
“Hm.” Finn leaned down to kiss Logan, then turned Leo’s face to kiss him, too. “We mean it, sunshine,” he mumbled against Leo’s mouth. “We don’t want to do anything without you, preferably not ever.” With a last kiss, he pulled back and smiled. “So let’s start by having you get out of this tiny apartment.”
Leo rolled his eyes. “It’s not that bad.”
“You’re right, it’s not.” Finn stood straighter, a hand still on each of them, to look around the space. “We’ve got a bigger kitchen, though, so ha-ha.”
“You do,” Leo said.
“We do,” Logan corrected. He tugged on Leo’s hair gently. “It’s yours now, too, soleil. Anything you want.”
Leo smiled and looked at them both. Finn had moved to stand in front of the chair beside Logan, so Leo had a view of both of their gorgeous faces. He leaned closer, warm from the weight of Logan’s body and Finn’s hand on his ribs, to catch their eyes. “What if I just want you?”
Finn’s eyes were delighted. “Can do that, baby, easy.”
“Ouais,” Logan agreed. He kissed Leo’s temple. “Toujours, mon amour.”
“Mm.” Leo ran a hand up and down Logan’s warm back. “So, we’re really doing this? I’m moving in? You’re taking a break?”
“Fuck yes, we’re doing this.” Finn sounded relieved. “I want to do nothing else but relax and wait for you to come home from work, Le, so we can kiss you hello.”
Leo shrugged. “Sounds good to me. Lo?”
“Mm, ouais.” Logan wrapped his arms around Leo’s shoulders and tucked his face into his neck. “You can join our gym.”
Leo snorted. “Of course that’s what you’re thinking of right now.”
“I want to go to the gym with you!”
Leo could feel Logan’s pout against his skin and kissed the side of his head. “Whatever you want, sweetheart. I’ll go to the gym with you.”
Logan just let out a pleased sound and settled himself further onto Leo’s lap. Leo caught Finn’s eye, who was looking at them both fondly, and they smiled at each other. Finn sighed, then bent down to kiss the tops of their heads. “Okay. You two wanna finish dinner? Then we can take a look at finishing out Leo’s lease and when we can move stuff in.” He bounced on his toes excitedly. “Oh, I can’t wait, this is awesome!”
Leo laughed. “Sure is, honey.” He patted Logan’s hip. “Let’s finish eating, Lo, then we can cuddle and get some logistics done.”
Logan sighed, but complied, kissing Leo’s neck before going to sit in his chair again, kissing Finn, too, along the way. “We did good, mon rouge.”
“So good.” Finn turned to Leo and kissed him briefly before sitting down. “You’re so gorgeous, Le, baby.”
Leo blushed and picked up his fork. “And you’re a sweet talker, Heartthrob O’Hara.”
Finn winked and nodded to Leo’s plate. “Eat up, babe, we got a sexy night of finances to get to.” He waggled his eyebrows. “And maybe a sexy night of other activities, too.”
Leo just shook his head fondly and speared a piece of chicken.

Four months later
“Wow, those disguises of yours sure are secretive.”
Finn smiled at Cassie widely, taking off his sunglasses and lowering the scarf from around his nose. “Thanks, Cass. Looking stunning as usual.”
Cassie raised her eyebrows at Leo before smiling back at Finn. “Why thank you, Finnegan.”
“That is not my name.”
“It is until you give me the number of that hot friend of yours from that dinner you hosted last week.”
“Percy?” Logan asked as he took off his own sunglasses.
“Yep. Very cute, even though he was a bit awkward.”
Finn barked out a laugh as he unzipped his backpack. “Yeah, he’s usually not like that. And I already gave him your number.”
Cassie smiled. “Perfect. I’ll be sure to go easy on him.” She patted Leo’s head and pushed her chair back. “I’ve got a meeting, but I’ll see you later, Le? We’ve got that meeting for the piece with that sexy Olympic diver.”
Leo nodded and saluted. “You got it, boss, I’ll see you at three.”
Cassie waved good-bye to Finn and Logan before she was out of the office door. Leo waited until it had closed behind her before standing and crossing in front of his desk to wrap his arms around Finn’s waist. “Hi, sweetheart,” he said into a quick kiss. He moved to wrap Logan up and kiss him, too. “And my other sweetheart. How was your day?”
“Good,” Finn said, unpacking the bag he’d brought with him. “Had that virtual meeting after our run this morning, after you left. We’re gonna fund a charity run for the Trevor Project in April. Then we went for a walk, wrote for a little bit.”
“Mm,” Leo said. Logan still had him in an embrace, so he caught Finn’s eye over Logan’s shoulder. “Anything good?”
Finn shrugged. “I don’t know, something about some hottie with blond hair and blue eyes. Could be Lo’s imaginary friend, though, you never know.”
That got Logan to pull back and face Finn with a slight scowl. “I don’t have an imaginary friend.”
“Not according to what Noelle told me, about when you were a kid. How’s Jacques these days?”
Logan groaned and dropped his head back with a curse. “Merde, I can’t believe she told you.”
Finn grinned and finished laying out their food. He reached out and took Leo’s hand to pull him over. “We got you your favorite banh mi from that little place you like, and an oatmeal raisin cookie from the bakery down the street. Good?”
Leo smiled and kissed his cheek. “Excellent, I love you. Thank you.”
Finn looked pleased. “Good. Let’s eat.”
They ended up sitting around the desk, Leo across from them in his big chair and Finn and Logan in two on the other side. Their conversation was gentle and mundane, as it so often was when they visited Leo for lunch, but Leo took special pride in how much joy he felt from living a daily, domestic life. So much of the first year and a half of being with them had been fanfare and travel and trying to avoid the spotlight as much as possible, which was hard to do when dating two of the sexiest and most talented, in Leo’s opinion, men in the world. There had been stretches where Leo, unable to take time off of work to travel, had been left alone in New York, video chatting with them every free second they all had. It was worth it, but tiring, and so moving into their penthouse and being there while Finn and Logan took time off from work did settle something in Leo, just like Logan had said it would the day they asked him.
Leo looked across his desk at them, Logan laughing as Finn told a story of some kind, and felt himself soften. These kind, silly, dorky, beautiful boys had chosen him, kept choosing him, made it a point in their relationship to emphasize that, if given the choice, they would both choose him over and over again. It warmed Leo through and filled him up with so much joy he didn’t know what to do with it all.
They must have noticed him spacing out, because Logan set down his sandwich for a moment to reach and touch Leo’s forearm with his warm fingers. “Le? Ça va?”
Leo shook himself out of his trance. “Yeah, sorry.” He settled back into his chair and grinned at them. “Just love you.”
Logan smiled back at him. “We love you, too.” He tilted his head to look at Leo, then at Finn. “I’d like to take you on a date tomorrow. To go skating.”
Leo laughed. “I can’t skate well, oh God.”
“Non, non, I’ll teach you! I’ll hold your hands.” Logan looked excited, which wasn’t normal for him outside of a competitive situation. “We can disguise ourselves easily with winter clothes, and it gets dark early, so we can go out to dinner, too, and not have to worry as much.”
Finn nodded eagerly. “Sounds good to me, baby.” He looked thoughtful for a moment. “Hm, maybe I put on a British accent, just to fake everyone out.”
Leo winced. “Please no, honey. I love you so much, but your accents are terrible.”
Finn stuck his tongue out. “Ha-ha.” He pulled out his phone. “I’ll have Paul come and watch us from afar, just to be safe, he loves to skate. I’ll pay for him and his wife to come and have some fun.”
“Hey, this is my date I’m taking you on,” Logan protested with a kiss to Finn’s cheek. “I do the planning.”
Finn typed on his phone for a moment longer before setting it down. He took Logan’s face in his hands and pressed kisses to his skin repeatedly. “Sorry, sorry, I promise, I’m done. Wine, dine, and sixty-nine us tomorrow all you want, baby.”
Logan captured Finn’s lip in a real kiss before looking at Leo. “Soleil? Sounds good?”
“Ouais, sounds good,” Leo said, taking another bite of his sandwich. “I really can’t skate for shit, though, so I’ll need help.”
“As far as I’m concerned,” Finn said with a smirk, “that’s just an excuse to get our hands all over you. No problems on my end.”
“One lunch,” Leo laughed. “I want one lunch without any sexual innuendos, please. For my birthday or something.”
Finn pouted. “But that’s half my material! I can’t help it if I see you and they just pop into my head.”
Leo shook his head fondly. “One lunch, O’Hara, I challenge you. And if you do it, you’ll get a surprise.”
Finn sat at attention. “What kind of surprise?”
Leo shrugged innocently. “Guess you’ll just have to wait and see.”
Finn closed his eyes and took a deep breath, hanging his head back. “Fuck, you can’t say things like that when we are in an office, baby.”
Leo wiped his hands on a napkin. “I’ll have you know, it’s my office, with shades. And the door locks. And I have disinfecting wipes, just in case, and leather chairs.”
Logan looked between them and the door. “How much time do you have left on your break?”
Leo stood to walk around to the other side. He didn’t miss the way both Finn and Logan spread their legs a little and smiled. “Enough.” He bent to whisper in Logan’s ear. “Go lock the door and lower the blinds, sweetheart, and take off your shirt. I’ll get started on our redhead.”
Logan’s eyes glazed over briefly before he shot up, reaching for the door handle with one hand and behind him to grip his shirt fabric in the other. Leo chuckled and looked down to Finn, who was wetting his lips with his tongue. “This okay?”
Finn just looked him up and down. “You know, Le, baby, I kind of like visiting you at work.”
Leo nudged their noses together as he felt two other hands come up from behind to work on his belt. “I like you visiting me at work, too.”
“Off,” Logan said, voice low and his lips kissing wetly at Leo’s neck. “Off, please, allez.”
Leo smiled, giving Finn one last wink, before reaching behind himself to help Logan remove his shirt. He was a lucky man, indeed.
