While women and girls are the primary victims of prostitution, I do want to make it clear that I hate female pimps, too. I hate madames or whatever they call themselves. Just notice, how every female-exclusive space soon turn the rules to "non-binaries, transgenders, dogs, parrots, everyone is welcome" while male spaces, stay for males only. i really really hate the conflation of the concept of TERFs with the concept of transphobia, 1) not all transphobes are radfems anyways 2) trans people can be transphobic too, and by insisting all transphobia is practiced by cis people only erases and excuses the harm that is perpetuated in our community

tbh I don’t think I’ll ever really forgive the trans movement for indoctrinating so many people into the belief that women speaking about our sex-based oppression is “terfy” and shouldn’t be allowed and any woman who does it wants to genocide trans people. even if they back off of this stance, the damage is done.

me saying “women are oppressed on basis of sex, not gender identity, and we cannot identify out of that oppression” does not mean I think it’s okay to kill or hurt trans people. it does not mean that I agree with right-wingers when they say gender non-conformity is destroying civilization. It does not mean that I am going to vote for politicians who think all gay people/gender non-conforming people are groomers.

it literally just means you cannot change your biological sex (which was never a controversial statement, even among trans people, up until like 5 years ago) and females should have special protections and spaces since we are constantly being preyed upon by males who see us as subhuman sex objects. that doesn’t mean I think all trans people are predators, it means that enough males are predatory toward women that we deserve to have spaces away from them (especially spaces where we’ll be not fully clothed).

we deserve to be able to talk about female-specific oppression without being told we’re evil genocidal nazis. and the fact that they constantly have to misrepresent what our actual beliefs are tells me they know we’re right and it scares them.

you cannot call yourself a feminist if your feminism doesn't include women who choose to be house wives. or who choose "stereotypical" lives. or choose to be feminine. or choose to be modest. or choose to wear their hijab. or who choose to be mothers.

If your idea of supporting women is just to enforce your idea of what the status quo should be, your feminism harms women. If your feminism doesn't support all women and their choices, your feminism harms the cause. If your feminism is less important than your biases against certain minorities, you need to reflect on your choices. You cannot spew hateful things towards other women and hide behind feminism.

I think so much of the assumption that all aromantic people are asexual is less an act of malice and more a fact that societally we think of romance and sexuality as so intrinsically linked. Societally we see sex without romance as either some sort of mistake or some sort of path towards eventual romance. Anything else doesn't really compute for most people.

Seeing someone say they're asexual but not aromantic makes sense to people because those feelings of affection are still there (so I'm told). When someone says they're aroace that also makes sense because that's rejecting the entire system of romantic interests. Wanting none of it whatsoever has a logic to it.

But the idea that you can want sex and not experience romance at all doesn't really cross anyone's mind. It's not something many people who are not aromantic have spent a lot of time thinking about so people just fill in the gap incorrectly.

I hate the perception that visibly or invisibly disabled people have it easier or harder. BOTH SUCK. Both suck because of shitty ableist assholes. It's so funny to be diagnosed with "Pain We Can't Find The Source Of Disorder" or "Brain is Physically Fucked and we Don't Know Why Disorder" or "We Don't Know Why You Have Seizures Disorder" and instead of more research, tests, etc being performed, you're told to get Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Bonus points if your diagnosis of Exclusion was the 1st-3rd conclusion your doctor came to.
