kakashi has what appears to be multiple panic attacks throughout the show, and he takes the same stance every single time, and i only recently noticed this, so i wanted to point it out bc idk if anyone else has noticed this. you can visbily see his shoulders quickly rising and falling, meaning he is breathing quite heavily.

1st screenshot: After Gai uses the 8th gate, and Kakashi presumes he did not survive the action

2nd screenshot: Kakashi choking up while using Chidori soon after the incident with Rin

3rd screenshot: Obito takes Kaguya's rod to the stomach and begins to fall apart

4th screenshot: Soon after Kakashi exited the 72 hour genjutsu from Itachi

(in the second screenshot, that was a canon panic attack, as we see his eyesight get blurry and stuff, but the other three are me simply implying with context clues such as his heavy breathing.)

I just want to say something about Kakashi and the fact that he never lashes out against the system or tried to fix it himself.

Something i’ve seen him compared to is Gojo who states he ‘could kill all the higher ups’ but i think a lot of people forget that he also says ‘nothing would change’ (which is funny to me because i saw the manga shot once and remembered it and i don’t watch JJK)

There’s a few reason’s this doesn’t work for Kakashi

1) OG Kakashi couldn’t do that.

Kakashi in OG Naruto wasn’t on par with Hiruzen. He’d lose that fight. Yes he’s an assassine but Hiruzen is a Hokage level shinobi.

He’s not going to be snuck up on that easy and in a 1 vs 1 battle Og Kakashi is not winning. War arc or Hokage Kakashi might win, but not OG Kakashi. He still has a lot of growing to do in his skills.

2) as Gojo said, nothing would change

If Kakashi could and did kill Hiruzen, then what? Tsunade maybe gets convonced to take the job or Danzo gets it. Kakashi ends up a Rogue Ninja away from all his friends, painted as the bad guy for trying to in-force his beliefs over everyone?

Gai is on par with Kakashi. Maybe he could take the rest of Konoha but Gai, Jiraiya (if he’s there), Tsunade (if she’s there)

Like, they’d all probably turn on him and try to kill him. He wouldn’t be there hero. No one would be throwing him parties.

He’d be the bad guy in everyone’s eyes.

This man has lost so much that i think that would shatter him. He wouldn’t have any more will to fight ir change shit. His will to fight the system is already so broken even when we see him go against orders.

3) it doesn’t match Kakashi’s established ‘style’

Kakashi isn’t someone who does things alone. His main motto is teamwork.

If Kakashi were to go against the system and try to change it, he’d do it with his friends. He’d convince them that the system is broken (or maybe they realize themselves like Gai) and that they need to change it.

He’d probably avoid killing.

Kakashi was an assassine but as soon as he gained power he changed the law so instead of killing enemies shinobi were to capture them.

If Kakashi can think of a way to do things without killing, he will. Everyone has a different answer to changing things (Sasuke=kill everyone, Obito & madara= eternal dream, Nagato = making everyone else suffer). Kakashi’s answer is peaceful solution where there can be one.

4) that’s not the point of this story

Naruto wants to be Hokage. Do i think he should have changed and recognized the system? Yes. But that’s not how Kishi wrote it.

In Kishi’s story as we read it, anyone directly against the system is bad no matter what their solution. Zabuza is bad until he ‘changes his mind before death’, Obito is bad until he switches side, Sasuke is bad until Naruto ‘convinces him’)

Kishi would only write Kakashi lashing out directly against the system if he wanted to make Kakashi into a bad guy in his story. Since Kakashi is one of his good guys, he had him silently and slowly changing the system with his own actions and teachings.

Kishi simply didn’t write Kakashi being against the syatem in the same way the JJK author wrote Gojo being against the system because his world is very black and white. Good and bad. (Even though Gojo’s solution is the exact same as Kakashi’s).

Kakashi is a character i believe should have been more against the current system, demanding change because he has lost so much to that system. But that’s simply not the character Kishi wrote.

You know, i can see why people would say Kakashi would lose a fight to Hashirama and Naruto. He would. They’re litterally god status shinobi

I think Minato and Tobirama are overrated but i’n tired of fighting with thise fans

But Hiruzen and Tsunade are Hokage’s who Kakashi is on par with. Stats wise Kakashi is between them (Hiruzen has 34, Kakashi 34.5 and Tsunade 35) meaning they’re all very close in skill. Tsunade obviously has her 100 healings which would make her incredably difficult to defeat obviously

But I think people are REALLY over hyping hiruzen. He’s known as the strongest of his generation and the professor but like… His biggest accomplishment is knowing a crap ton of jutsu’s

Which is obv impressive but Kakashi knows more

Both Kakashi and Hiruzen have all the elements mastered

Both of them are incredibly strong and talented shinobi known for being the strongest of their gen (with Kakashi’s friend actually being as strong as him and surpassing him by using the eighth gate while Hiruzen’s friend just stole Uchiha eyes and died a meaningless death but that doesn’t count towards them personally)

How does Kakashi keep getting religated to ‘weakest Hokage’ when Hiruzen and Tsunade are the same level of him, each with different skills

I've made an important discovery! Kakashi has been trolling all of the fandom.

Just like he covers most of himself and make us act like crazy virgins when we see even a little bit of his skin, he uses slightly baggy clothes sometimes so we can't pinpoint by a single glance if he has a good ass or not, or if he's ripped or not.

I've noticed Kakashi's clothes seem baggy from time to time, and I firmly believe it's because he has cero cares about what he wears and as long as it fits him and doesn't get in the way he's fine with it.

So him being ripped and with a great ass is completely canon (with many evidence, mind you) but just like with his mask and covered skin, he likes to leave it to others' people imagination like the Troll he is.

This broke me when I was a kid. Had me sobbing.

As much as we all love to tease him, Naruto’s actually real fucking smart. I do it, too, in no small part because I see a lot of myself in him. Having ADHD, growing up fighting desperately to be able to learn on even ground, with the same opportunity as my peers, and never really having exactly what Kakashi is being here. Most of us never have so much consideration into changing how instead of what is being taught. Yet, here was a well-known, beloved, and even respected character across the world doing what all teachers should do.

For context, the gif above is from one of the first scenes where Kakashi is taking Naruto’s training more directly and teaching him foundations of pieces Naruto already uses. Initially, he goes to explain this in a very direct, technical manner as he would for Sasuke or Sakura, and quickly realizes that is the wrong approach for Naruto. He then, as he will continue to do throughout training Naruto, breaks things down differently or shows him in a tangible way. Teaching him how to access the full extent of the shadow clones is a perfect example of this.

And the biggest reason it made me cry my fucking eyes out is because as he does this, there is not a single implication that he’s looking down on Naruto for needing a different approach. Not even a little.

Now, this is emotional for even more reasons, because we have a much better understanding of Naruto’s parents and a significantly better idea of what Minato was probably like as a teacher. Minato also had a brilliant student who was almost certainly ADHD, I mean we have joked about him being like Naruto since he was introduced, and in all honesty, I’m am really fucking sure that Minato understood a bit more first-hand than it would appear. We see how similar their ways of impulsive thinking are, and how absolutely unintentionally ridiculous Minato is if he isn’t focused. Kakashi being Kakashi was probably aware of these things, probably saw for himself this same example set by his teacher. In other words, Kakashi is a real good fucking teacher and has made me cry for the only reasons a teacher should ever make someone cry, which is still a very foreign experience.
