I could write a thousand poems for you but surely, you’ll revise it and send it to her. :)

do you ever see someone in some quiet intimate moment and suddenly love them so desperately you feel like you’re dying

#like when they pass a mirror and make a face and mess with their hair a little #or when you hear someone singing in their car with the windows rolled up as they drive past you #i don’t know how to express this i just. people are people and it makes me so sad and filled up sometimes

“I’m Here To Praise A Moment That I Believe Has Been Slept On: When Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo)

“I’m here to praise a moment that I believe has been slept on: when Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) takes Lara Jean’s scrunchie out because he thinks she looks pretty with her hair down, insists on taking a photo to prove it to her, and then looks at the photo he took and gives a fond, snuffly “Aw!”. [It] takes place early in the fake relationship the two have agreed to pursue […] But that doesn’t mean he has to be dismissive or unkind to his partner in deception. And he’s not! Even in this private moment, when there’s no reason to perform interest in her, he’s just out here making Lara Jean feel pretty and lovable. It’s wild how confusing it feels to see a boy in a teen movie being so tender with a girl without the clear and immediate goal of getting in her pants. There’s no brusqueness or dickishness; he doesn’t deride her youthful style or become exasperated that he has to deal with her naiveté about the party scene. Instead, he’s warm and earnest. The “aw” is an affectionate little sound that says “we’re technically faking this, but I genuinely think you’re wonderful and I’m happy being around you.” Boys who genuinely like and respect girls are maybe a thing that we should portray and valorize more.“

"The moon had been observing the earth longer than anyone. It must have witnessed all of the phenomena occurring—and all of the acts carried out —on this earth.

But the moon remained silent; it told no stories. All it did was embrace the heavy past with a cool, measured detachment. On the moon there was neither air nor wind. Its vacuum was perfect for preserving memories unscathed. No one could unlock the heart of the moon."

—Haruki Murakami, 1Q84

things that exist but you can’t see:

people thinking about you and smiling

flowers growing in your heart

the moon’s affection for you

how much you’ve healed already

a lovely future written in the stars

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.”

— Neil Gaiman
