Super sappy prompts #14 and/or #21 for JaredxEvan
Enjoy!! #21 “I’m better when I’m with you”
~
“Hey, you’ll be okay,” Jared reassured his boyfriend as he gripped Evan’s hand. He could feel the clamminess of Evan’s hands as the two entered the movie theater. “Evan you’ll be okay, you’re getting better with social interactions,” Jared smiled. Evan simply nodded, Jared was helping him get over his fear of social situations. Dr. Sherman had suggested it and when he asked his boyfriend Jared agreed.
Evan tried he really did but it was so difficult. He wanted to talk but the crushing fear of social interaction kept him in his shell. But before this he would never think of going to a movie theater, let alone with his boyfriend. “I know, you make me better,” Evan smiled sweetly at his boyfriend.
Jared smiled back, grateful Evan was trying his best. “Okay so you’ll get the tickets?” Jared stated. Evan nodded as they approached the ticket broker. Evan immediately went cold, he didn’t think this through. All those time with the pizza guys, how he could never talk to them. “C-Can…Can…Ca-can I-I-I get,” Evan started but he couldn’t finish.
Jared butt in, noticing the color drain from Evan’s face. “Can we get two tickets to beauty and the beast please,” Jared smiled. The lady smiled back and nodded. The two got their tickets and Evan just looked at the floor as they walked away. “I’m sorry I just…” Evan sighed but Jared cut him off.
“You almost did it, and that’s a huge step Evan,” Jared kissed his boyfriend’s cheek as they got their soda and popcorn. “The fact you’re even here is amazing and a giant step,” Jared told him.
“I’m better when I’m with you Jared, I’m always better when I’m with you,” Evan said as they took their seats. Jared gave him strength and confidence and strength and while he didn’t cure Evan’s anxiety, he was like a rock and Evan was thankful for him.

Book lovers…
“Did I ever get a chance to say I’m proud of you?”
“Do you even want me around? ‘Cause you certainly don’t act like it.”
“Us misfits have to stick together or we’d have no one.”
“I shouldn’t be allowed to do anything when I’m this tired.”
“Look, you’re super clumsy and having you around this highly flammable project is like asking for trouble.”
“Bribing me with your cooking works every single time.”
A: “Let’s just forget this ever happened.”
B: “Agreed. But if we’re caught, you’re taking the blame.”
A: “This was your idea!”
A: “Hey–it’s okay, what’s wrong?”
B: “I’m sorry–I just thought something had happened to you. I don’t know what I would do …”
A: “I’m fine; I’m right here, see? Everything’s okay.”
A: “Is that my shirt?”
B: “Uh . . . maybe?”
A: “… you look better in it, anyway.”
A: “Hey–what the hell! You can’t just barge in here like that!”
B: “… Did you seriously just throw a ninja star at me?”
A: “It’s your fault for interrupting me! I was practicing my aim!”
B: “No kidding–you missed me by a mile.”
A: “Get. Out!”
A: “Ugh, kill me.”
B: “What’s wrong now?”
A: “Does something have to be wrong whenever I want to die?”
B: “Generally, yes.”
A: “… I’m bored.”
A: “You make some cute noises in your sleep.”
B: “W-what? Why were you watching me sleep? And besides–I don’t talk in my sleep and I never have!”
A: “Never said nothin’ about talking, sweetheart. Maybe some … moans.”
B: “ … I am going to kill you.”
A: “Do you ever think about . . . space?”
B: “. . . Are you high?”
A: “… Very.”
A: “I don’t dance.”
B: “Aw, c’mon! It’ll be fun!”
A: “I’m serious–I will embarrass you and the entirety of the human race in the process.”
B: “You can’t be that bad.”
A: “Oh, believe me, I am.”
A: “Uh-oh.”
B: “You broke it!”
A: “No–this is your fault!”
B: “C’s going to kill you!”
A: “This was your idea, jackass!”
A: “Hey–are you listening to me?”
B: “What? I can’t hear you from down there.”
A: “I AM NOT THAT SHORT, YOU JERK!”
B: “Oh, I can hear you now. And yes, you really are.”
Lungs aching, pulse thudding, I could hardly manage more than shallow breaths. No matter how diligently I kept on top of it, how desperately I tried to hold it in, it was going to burst from my chest, darkness splayed out for the world to see.

Here’s an aesthetic mini set for some inspiration:
I am more of a beast than human, more drunk than sober, more of anarchy than order, more of a scoundrel than a saint more of a fallen than an angel, but she loved all of my darkness, so I gave her what’s left of my light.

“Why did you lie to her?” “Definition of lie is not telling the truth. I told the truth, not just the one I was supposed to.”
“Oh my god,” person A breathes, tapping their friend on the shoulder and pointing. “Who are they?”
“Hm? Oh, that’s Person B. They started working here earlier this week, I think.”
“I’m going to marry them,” Person A mumbles. “I’m going to marry them and cherish them and have an adorable honeymoon and have kids together and it’s going to be perfect.”
“Yeah, sure, good luck with that.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“See that pin they have? See it?”
“…. yeah?”
“That’s the ace flag. You ain’t getting in their pants any time soon, pal.”
“Who said anything about getting in their pants? I want to know them, and love them, and be cute with them. If sex is off the table for them, it’s off the table for me.”
“I told you that I’d come back to collect your debts.”
“Do you have to play your music so loudly? My head’s killin’ me.”
“This was decided for us way before we even knew about it.”
“How about instead of arguing with the sirens, we go somewhere less dangerous?”
“I knew since the beginning. I just didn’t want to say anything and ruin it for you.”
“I promised them I’d never stop looking, no matter what it takes.”
