How's It Go Again?

Like every other Perc'ahlia fan, I'm hoping the next season of Legend of Vox Machina will give us the let's-start-with-the-Courage scene.

Like an obsessive Perc'ahlia fan, I'm also praying to patron saint Travis Willingham that we'll get to see them the morning after because wouldn't that be sweet?

And, like a very, very thirsty Perc'ahlia fan, I'm accepting that we're probably not going to see anything terribly suggestive, so I must be the change I wish to see in the world.

Relationship hcs for Van Augur?

It was only fate that brought this ask to me. (I love this dude’s style. Just sayin’.)

Van Augur Relationship Headcanons:

Van is a protective boyfriend. No matter the situation, he’s always on the lookout for any kind of potential danger that might target his partner. If he feels they’re threatened, he’s prone to shooting the culprit first and asking questions about the attack later.

When he and his partner go out, Van Augur likes to take his partner out for some fine dining. He likes how classy they look and enjoys making them feel like royalty. He gets recommendations for restaurants from Lafitte.

You wouldn’t guess it, but Van gets flustered really easily. All his partner has to do is saunter over to him, touch his cheek, and place a little kiss on his nose. After that, he’s all red ears and awkwardness, diverting his gaze to the side to hide his shyness. This goes double if his partner does this in front of Blackbeard and the crew.

Despite his seemingly emotionless demeanor, Van is actually really talented at soothing a crying s/o. He doesn’t freak out like some men and, instead, wraps his arms around them and calmly talks them out of their hysterics. Once they’ve settled down a little, he’ll ask them what upset them and listen closely.

Van and his partner sleep in separate rooms, even though neither is uncomfortable being intimately close. This is because Van snores like a motor engine and keeps his partner up late into the night. His room has to be soundproofed for the crew’s sake. 

Following Lafitte, Van is the most gentlemanly person on the crew. He puts his s/o’s needs above his own, such as using his cape to protect them from the rain during a storm.

While it isn’t usually possible, Van tries to limit the amount of time his partner has to spend with his crew. For the most part, this is because he doesn’t want his crewmates to bother his partner with their eccentric natures, but there are a couple men that he worries will try to steal his s/o from him. 

Every morning, Van and his partner watch birds while the sun is rising.

He’s the kind of guy who’ll go onlybecause his partner looks fine, and goddamn it what’s the point ifyou can’t brag a little. Ends up wanting to leave after a fewminutes… But can be persuaded for once dance.

Jesus Burgess:

Crashes it. Straight up gets into afight ‘cause someone looked at his partner. No one look at them eventhough they are OBVIOUSLY the best pair there. Smashes something.Enjoyable nonetheless if you like dancing through fire (I do.)

Shiliew:

He refuses to go. 1. He can’t dance 2.No. He’ll spend the night with his partner at home watching weirdnetflix films or studying instead.

Laffitte:

He’s prepared dances weeks in advance.He loves dances in general, so he ends up spending the entire nightwith his partner dancing. And possibly robbing a few sorry suckers.Will not stop dancing with his partner the entire night.

Van Augur:

Goes on behalf on his s/o. He’s not afan of crowds, but he dresses the part and swings them along to thebeat. Convinces them to leave half-way through to go to a park orsomething… Calmer.

Doc Q:

Poor guy can’t really handle it?? He can’t very well stand up long enough for a dance, so he just watches his partner have fun and then feels bad for spoiling their fun, and then someone gets concerned that he’s flat out dying? Keep him home and watch some telly instead.

Sanjuan Wolf:

Oh my god. He wants to go, he dreamsabout going? But he’s awkward with people? He can’t dance? If hesomehow does go, he’ll be very stiff the whole time. Only when hefocuses on his partner will he be able to actually dance, or doanything besides intense sweating.

Vasco Shot:

“Hey how about we pour this shit-tonof vodka into the punc-” “No.” is how the night is going tovaguely go. Ends up sleeping half-way through. Someone help him. Hispartner needs to reel him in or else all kinds of food will besomehow become 'infected.’

Catarina Devon:

Everyone feels bad because they aren’tas well dressed as her and her partner. Literally puts everyone toshame. An obvious vote for Queen. Not just prom, just in general. Shedoes whatever her partner wants, because just being able to shit oneveryone for their inferiority was good enough

Avalo Pizarro:

He’s so excited to go anywhere with hiss/o. Doesn’t want to do anything besides hold them or keep them closeto him. He’s a terrible dancer, don’t tell him that, but he does hisbest. Bless his nya-soul.

Kuzan:

Goes for the food, and probably justfood. He will be convinced to sway to a song with his partner beforehe sits back and watches them enjoy themselves. A very kind date,take good care of him.
