if tim was stuck in a time loop I think the first person he'd tell would be ives because ives would believe him instantly
petition for tim to steal inherit more of jason's identities since he already got robin and red robin from him
this man wouldn’t know what self-care and positive habits were if they tap-danced in front of him wearing nothing but the bat-cowl
Batman: Fortress (2022) #3
he's just a little guy
The Boy Wonder #2 by Juni Ba
I feel like, at this point, batfam's deaths are just naps mid-battle
in my ideal world there was a second yj98 spinoff comic that ran in 2003 called "saint elias" that is gotham academy-esque and followed the adventures of newly-humanified greta and recently-retired anita as they joined saint elias school for girls alongside cissie and traya
I am definitely going to be posting more about this >:) potentially even with a fic series if I can get my shit together heart emoji
(reblogs are much loved and help other people see my art!)
I cope using humor okay 😭😭😭
This single panel absolutely sent me the first time I saw it.
Tim Drake is an icon lmfao
honestly it’s not even weird that he died twice at this point, what would be weird if he hadn’t died at least once
this is what I'm getting from the DC fandom right now
it’s just constant, never ending pain and confusion
So glad I’m free from Batman idk what’s going on over there
Superman as a symbol is nice I enjoy him but more importantly Clark Kent as a guy is incredibly funny. Midwesterner who’s nigh indestructible because he’s also from space. Weirdly jacked guy working in an office building who says ope let me sneak right past ya
“liking something in fiction doesn’t mean you condone it in real life” but instead of dark fanfiction tropes it’s about liking jeeves and wooster while being a socialist
if you haven’t seen the rest of their AU yet you should totally check it out! It’s so funny and sweet and the art is so good!!
tbf Cassandra doesn't talk a lot so this is a pretty reasonable question to ask.

Most of the Batkids lie to Batman.
What’s unique about Tim “I lie to Batman” Drake is that he lies *successfully* to Batman.
Damian just states blatant untruths and expects people to believe them. Dick puts on a good act, but it can’t fool his family, even if they won’t call him out on it. Jason’s emotions are too easy to read, even with his helmet on. Cass lies with her words, but never with her body. Duke lacks self-awareness of his insanity and thus doesn’t try to hide any of it. Steph and Barbara don’t even bother, because Batman has no authority over her whatsoever.
Tim, though? He was raised by boarding schools and nannies and practically incentivized to lie to adults. He’s so earnest and well-meaning that everyone expects him to be a compulsive truth-teller, and he weaponizes it like the little gremlin he is. And when that isn’t enough, he knows how to spin things just right that they don’t quite sound like an untruth.
you might be wondering how jon's jealousy arc got started. well... here it is. (pages one & two)
Tim has literally no idea what he's talking about. But that's not about sense, that's about spirit
I love it how we as a fandom collectively invented the concept of the "batfamily" when in reality it's just a bunch of messed up kids/teenagers and a few even more messed up irresponsible adults running around with their deeply dysfunctional relationships
Not sure if you’re taking requests, but…..Would you consider drawing something with Bruce and Damian being adorable together? 🥹🥹
Please enjoy
drew a little stephcass roof hang while bingeing b99
You cannot, in any way, tell me they are not soulmates.
Jondami is the definition of "I love you in every universe."
Like look at them, they are with each other in every shape and form.
It's hilarious to think of Bruce who considers Clark to be his best friend, trusts him implicitly, and thinks Clark is the person who knows him better than anyone outside his family, but when timkon or jondami start dating he realizes that there is a very real possibility that they could become...*shudders*...in-laws, and is horrified.
Does it ever depress you to think about how Stephanie's entire life has been a quest to prove to everyone else and to herself that she's more than her own shitty circumstances and the conclusion we were apparently intended to take away from it was no, no she isn't. She can work a thousand times harder than everyone else and she can do everything right but as far as the narrative is concerned she will still never be anything more than the daughter of a failed bank robber.
the dialogue around babs and her disability is so cooked because if there was some understanding that disabled people with a mobility aid — whether it be a chair, a frame, a walking stick, a scooter, prosthesis, whatever — aren’t “trapped” by the devices designed to help them navigate the world we wouldn’t be stuck having the same reductive conversations. kim yale and john ostrander reintroduced babs as a disabled woman who took pride in her intelligence and abilities and saw her wheelchair as a means of reclaiming her independence and autonomy. she removes the handles on the chair because no one, whether it be her father or batman or darkseid, gets to push her around. taking that from her is an act of violence, whether ur tom taylor who can’t envision a world where disabled people are respected and capable unless they are magically cured, or a random online who thinks stealing the wheels off someone’s wheelchair is funny
When referring to Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian:
Batboys doesn’t work cause that includes Duke
Robins doesn’t work cause that includes Steph
So I propose a new and improved name:
It’s straightforward, it’s classy, it rolls off the tongue, it’s in character for all of them
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
I am more than willing to give recommendations too for anyone who wants to read dukes comics but isn’t sure where to start! he’s such a great character and i want to give him all the love in the world :)
Sometimes I see batfam posts and I get unreasonably upset because I KNOW Duke Thomas is still a very underrated, unknown batfam member but some of you guys would love him so much if you would just give him a chance
