Stede and Izzy scenes cause it's actually a wholesome experience watching these two do their shit without Ed for the moment
ok so normally i don’t make actual posts, but i’m so curious about the shark story izzy creates. like yes, it is removing edward’s part in maiming him but now he is placing the blame on himself solely.
he talks about dangling his legs over and the shark jumping up and snatching one and while i don’t remember the quote exactly, he did say he deserved it. so while he is taking away edward, he is basically saying a tainted a sea creature and got was he “deserved.” but instead of the kraken, it’s a shark.
i love izzy and have loved him since season 1, but i know a lot of people are upset about the lack of mention of the navy incident and i do hope it gets brought up again and i believe this story of his kind of opens a gateway for that conversation. since these past few episodes are so fast paced and the crew, while going through so much under blackbeard’s captaining, haven’t exactly had room for the blame discussion.
i’m glad that izzy’s bonding with the crew and am so glad he’s actually integrated himself with him now, but i do hope the navy thing does get brought up at least for some closure.

Redwall art envisioned as an 80's animated film look. (Milt Kahl / Don Bluth) --- I know nothing abt Redwall. I havent read the books and know very VERY little of its lore. Years ago I remember seeing a tv series but never finished it.
it’s not that damian is afraid of being left, it’s that he’s not good enough to be someone worth staying with.
