Part of the 100 day drawing challenge, but I wanted to draw it outside of the sketchbook because I had this idea for the finished piece.
Me trying to fit all their forms into one cohesive piece but instead it just gets all messy. Still love em β€οΈ

Consulted the book thoroughly to make these depictions as accurate as possible. NGL this is not how I picture any of them (except maybe q33 north), and the same goes for my cousin. It's really funny, though. Really shows how ridiculous their outfits are ππ

DTIYS challenge, but I change the pose for once.
More of this trend. I was obsessed with doing DTIYS. I mean it's just easier to make art if you don't have to put the brainpower into making a character/setting (hence the fanart, DTIYS and, tbh, life drawings)

Fanart of the first verse of trampoline:
I've been havin' dreams Jumpin' on a trampoline Flippin' in the air I never land, just float there As I'm lookin' up Suddenly the sky erupts Flames alight the trees, spread to fallin' leaves Now they're right upon me
Idk what compelled me to draw this, think I just had a clear image due to the lyrics. Pretty on the nose.

AFK arena fanart. Wanted to make fanart of all of the graveborns/my mains, but never finished it. Was fun nonetheless
Best part about the game is the art and the designs they're so good.

Gr 9 still life that never got finished.
I remember by teacher was in despair because she gives shitty paper to the gr9s for their still lifes but this was actually good lmao π. She offered to like cut it out and put it on good paper but I was good with not doing that ππ
I spent so much time on this. Would work on it during lunch breaks in the art room like a loser, and yet it never got finished π’
Proud of myself for it, though. Would've looked even better if I'd used charcoal for the darkest darks.

I'm hoping to get the spring plants done this week and hopefully get the fall/winter ones sketched after that gonna focus on the bg and flats of the bird for the hawk painting 4 now. I'll limit myself from the details until the frame for the wings is thought out/the rig is made #5Β is a mixed media thingy + maybe 3d drawing cos i havent doen anything like that in a while
wanna get the castle bnw detailing done today
hawk - started apr 11 ti plant,Β #5Β - apr 12 algaonema, caladium - apr 8
Well lookie here, look at how much I lied. hoping to get the spring plants done? What an absolute buffoon I am. There is one success story here, though - Rosewood and Iris, surprisingly. Everything else are failures.

I completely forgot that I made this, until I randomly found it in my parents' room.
Again, tentatively put in the timeline. It must have been recently after their creation, since it's just the three of them and the hourglass was a feature that didn't stick for long.
(plus this painting's concept sketch = is in the same sketchbook as my first drawings for them)

A community center in my town lets people under 18 showcase their art for free in their halls. I took a stab at applying and was accepted.
The exhibit wasn't supposed to last as long as it did, but covid lockdowns hit shortly after we installed everything and the persistent lockdowns kept on pushing back the pickup date. This means next to no one saw any of the art, but I was fine with that. I kept on getting really worried abt ppl destroying the art.
Wait! I'm Camouflaging Right Now!

Various DTIYS I did. I have no idea who each of these characters belong to anymore. These were made in my unorganized artist era.
I remember I won third place for this but I didn't have paypal and when I tried to make one it didn't work lmao.
Watercolour, ink, acrylic paint.
Lowkey, idk if this is a DTIYS. It could very well be an orginal character/drawing

Don't remember what the prompt was for this gr9 assignment. Whatever it was, I used it as an opportunity to make an illustration of my angel oc thingy.
Supposed to look like it's stained glass. Definitely like the concept/some of the sketches more than the final piece, but it's cool

Gr 9 sketchbook assignments that were meant to teach us the differences between the following terms:
Inspiration
Appropriation
Plagiarism
These are three characters I like to draw that were initially inspired by the angel on one shoulder devil on the other trope. It's an example of inspiration because that trope inspired me and I wouldn't have reached this result without it. Pen on sketchbook paper
This is appropriation because I used elements of another person's art/work (cutouts from a magazine) and created my own art out of it Acrylic paint, pen, and magazine cutouts on sketchbook paper
This is MY painting. Completely original. This is a totally new concept that has NEVER been done before! Van Gogh who? Did you just think that it wasn't Van Gogh who painted this? You're right! Because it's MINE. I thought we established that already. (Let's pretend this isn't a painting that's well known) This is an example of plagiarising because I'm taking someone's own art/creation and claiming it as my own.

I think I made this because I was inspired by some game's design of medusa, and I took some reference of it. Can't remember what.
When I was painting the background Granite stepped into the paint and walked all over the painting. I freaked out, but was able to salvage and save it (surprisingly, since it was on top of watercolours)

I don't remember painting this at all, really. Just vague impressions. I actually like the painting, but ig I didn't like it back then cos I put that huge tear in the middle.
Idky I took the canvas off of its wooden skeleton for this painting.
