Are we getting any new content any time soon? It feels like we're in a drought.

Do people not know that it takes up to 8 months to make one 11 minute episode?? Animation takes a LONG time, we have to be patient.

We have waited longer before, but I suppose the pilot attracted new fans that didn’t have to wait the initial and much longer hiatus until the orientation videos and then the pilot xD

They’re also trying to keep our interest with instagram and the streams. We should be thankful. Even if they don’t do streams anymore, they did them for a long a really time until 1 month ago.

FDGSDR OKAY no seriously, I assume you mean from an actual short/episode? Hmmm. This is hard I love a lot of things he says, mostly the insults that he comes up with. He says the funniest things in the very first orientation videos narrated by him. I thought about this ask for a while and one quote from him I really like is:

“Don’t stop attacking your enemy until their heart stops beating.” - Black Hat in the adventure time orientation video

Because it’s SO TRUE. When a villain has the upper hand and just laughs and lets the hero recover is the WORST. I’m so glad that he calls them out for that, ughh

Flug, standing in middle of chaos: Black Hat, look at what you've done! Now the animators are gonna have to draw all this fire!

Let me tell y'all the scene that sold me on how good this show is going to be

The Dreadful Dawn was the first Villainous content I saw and I loved every second of it. But this scene in particular was what sold me

Like idk how to explain this but I'll try

Obviously the most prominent stand out is the fluidity of the animation cause oh mY GOD ITS GOOD! First time I saw it, my jaw dropped because of the wonderful animation! The tear of his suit as he morphs into Flug's view, the wrinkles in his face as his eyes and mouth appear, his eyebrows popping out from in between his eyes, the way his reflective mouth stays in sync with his real mouth and how his reflective eye follows his real eye as it rolls into view and looks down at Flug and the fact that he still keeps his pose is just *chef's kisss* beautiful. I'm not in animation (I can barely draw), but even a beginner like me can really appreciate this scene.

This is also the first we see of Black Hat (if you never watched the orientation vids like me) and the fact he's presenting himself as something disgusting/scary is really telling.

THIS ONE PART SHOWS A LOT IN WHAT KIND OF BEING/THING BLACK HAT IS

He could have easily turned around and talked to Flug and he didn't have to fold him into origami in order to get him to his office, but he did anyway.

This dude doesnt give two shits about anybody and wants to invoke fear into anyone seeing him. Even with his already hired employees

This scene tells the audience that this man really means business and should be taken seriously. He is a real threat that shouldn't be taken lightly. Not a lot of villains casually flex like this unless they are the real deal. Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls is what immediately came to mind when I saw this scene because it is totally something that he would do (i mean he rearranged someone's face like??? Thats serious shit)

But back to Black Hat. Like damn this is such a power move. If I were in the same room as this thing I would've peed myself, like that's the energy he's giving off by doing this! His monster mouth is still in the reflection as if his reflection is another being or something!!! LIKE WTF THATS SO COOL

Anyway, so yeah I just needed to get that out of my system cause I just got a random burst of energy to gush about it right now

Black Hat: For self-defense purposes, I'm going to be a burglar and you two have to act wisely. Got it?

Demencia: You got it, handsome~

Flug: Yes, sir!

Black Hat: Give me all your money if you want to live!

Demencia: Bold of you to assume I have money.

Flug: Bold of you to assume I want to live.
