Words to describe someone’s voice

adenoidal (adj) :  some of the sound seems to come through their nose.

appealing (adj): voice shows that you want help, approval, or agreement.

breathy (adj): with loud breathing noises.

booming (adj): very loud and attention-getting.

brittle (adj): if you speak in a brittle voice, you sound as if you are about to cry.

croaky (adj): they speak in a low, rough voice that sounds as if they have a sore throat.

grating (adj): a grating voice, laugh, or sound is unpleasant and annoying.

Summary:

Someone, or something, took his son. Stole him away to another universe, far from Erik’s reach. The X-Men are as clueless on how to get the speedster back, resigned like Erik to simply watching Peter on the tv screen as he’s forced to play a role for a grieving woman.

Set three years after Apocalypse; timeline changes explained in the notes.

Started writing this a few days ago, and then saw a Tumblr post. So not inspired by this, but it’s definitely along the same lines and I wanted to share it!

You know what I love? When the team are experiencing/have experienced something pretty damn traumatic and Jack is there to comfort them with a reassuring touch to show that he’s there and it’s gonna be okay

I could go on and say so much about this, but if I had to make a guess about the main reason why Jack’s so tactile and loves to show his compassion through physical contact and holding people, it might possibly, just possibly be because if he ever let go…
