i dont understand why yall so surprised ab desmond/kelvin i mean. des spend 3 years with a man in a locked space. and its not just some random man. KELVIN is crazy he taught sayid how to torture people. he did very unpleasant things and its not only about him being manipulation genius (hes just a girlboss ok) and a spy. Desmond and Penny could have and probably would have been the best couple on the show if the writers had bothered to give Penny a personality, a backstory, and a life besides her love interest.
