but nooo no no no. the box cutter is my colleague, my ally, my friend. you know what is truly bloodthirsty in a print & signage shop? literally Anything Else that's able to cut but not supposed to. cardboard, sheets of plastic, the humble paper of course, corrugated polypropylene, aluminum composite sheets - i nicked myself on a sheet of magnetic material today?? it bled. kinda profusely.

basically:

box cutter: a trusty companion, might hurt you if you handle it wrong, but that's understandable

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.

Trix's first friend and mentor. They gave her her hat! These two travelled together during Trix's first journey, but once they made it to Eden, the mentor decided to stay in Orbit instead of being reborn.

So between the rough trip up Eden, being convinced she was going to die for real, and then her mentor leaving at the end, it's no wonder Trix hates Eden. Especially since it happened again, with the Little Prince. She went all the way up to try to convince him to stay and he still left her.

She's convinced that everyone will leave her at some point :(
