My Gut Health Routine That Doesn’t Involve Kimchi
by Soleau Club
I love a good wellness trend. But some of these gut health girlies are out here raw-dogging kimchi at 8AM and acting like it’s normal.
I tried. I really did. But fermented cabbage just doesn’t spark joy.
So I made it my mission to build a gut routine that actually feels cute, works without trauma, and keeps me bloat-free in bikinis without sacrificing taste buds or sanity.
Welcome to Gut Health for Hot Girls—the kimchi-free edition.
Yes, I still do the hot lemon water thing—but I leveled it up with:
A pinch of pink Himalayan salt for minerals
A splash of aloe juice (I swear by it for digestion)
Sometimes a dash of apple cider vinegar, if I’m feeling brave
It’s like a gentle internal shower that whispers, “Let’s digest things like European girls do.”
No weird fermented jars here. I keep it cute and easy with:
A non-dairy probiotic capsule (look for one with at least 20B CFUs)
Or a shot of coconut water kefir (mild, sweet, and gut-loving)
Bonus points: I store my probiotics next to my skincare so I never forget. Pretty girl digestion > chaos digestion.
Here’s the tea no one tells you: your gut is deeply petty and reacts to your stress like a dramatic ex. If you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or doomscrolling on an empty stomach—your gut feels it.
So every day, I do one of these:
A quick 5-minute breathwork sesh
EFT tapping (don’t knock it till you try it)
Journaling out stress before meals so I don’t eat in panic mode
These are my go-to de-bloat queens:
Ginger tea (warm, comforting, helps everything move)
Peppermint capsules (miracle for gas + indigestion)
Magnesium citrate at night for gentle “movement” if ya know what I mean
Also… I eat pineapple almost daily because it’s cute and has enzymes. Functional ✨and✨ flirty.
Instead of obsessing over food rules, I follow the “Hot Girl Plate” formula:
Protein (for blood sugar + metabolism)
Healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, seeds)
Fiber-rich carbs (veggies, fruit, sweet potato, or a little sourdough)
No side of shame included
This keeps me full, satisfied, and not bloated like a deflated pool float.
I don’t chug ice water with meals (bad for digestion, sorry)
I don’t snack 24/7 (I give my gut breaks to digest like the boss she is)
I don’t take random supplements I saw on TikTok (unless I’ve researched the heck out of them)
And no—still no kimchi. Not even a cute pickled radish.
Gut health doesn’t have to feel gross, overwhelming, or smell like a fermented nightmare.
It can be:
chic,
intuitive,
and a little luxurious.
All it takes is the right ritual and a few ride-or-die habits that work for you. So ditch the shame, keep the glow, and listen to your body (not just your For You Page).
Because a happy gut = a hot girl.

💌 a love letter to the girls who feel everything all at once
hi angel. mindy here.
i just want to talk to you for a second. not as a persona, not as a brand, not even as a blog, but as a girl who started typing into a blank text box one day and never stopped.
because the truth is, i didn’t make this blog because i was healed. i made it because i was hurting.
and somewhere between the aesthetic pinterest photos, the late-night diary entries, the posts that only got 3 notes, the 2am reblogs of girls who looked like soft versions of my pain... i found something. i found you.
✿
i didn’t know i was creating a life raft when i made this blog. but looking back, i can see it so clearly now: i was a girl who needed a safe place to feel everything. to be too much, too emotional, too ambitious, too dreamy. irl, i felt like i was being graded for everything, my appearance, my intelligence, my tone of voice, even the way i sat in a chair. everything had to be curated and clean and perfect.
but on here? on tumblr? i could fall apart in lowercase.
i could write things like “i feel like a forgotten ballerina in a dusty theater” and no one would ask me if i was okay. they’d just reblog it with “me too.” and somehow, that felt more healing than any conversation i’d ever had.
✿
girlblogging didn’t just save my life. it gave me one.
a life where i could romanticize my flashcards, where healing could look like claw clips and classical music and drinking water in a wine glass. a life where i could turn loneliness into poetry and ambition into art. a life where i wasn’t just surviving... i was curating, creating, soft-launching a girl i had always dreamed of being.
i started girlblogging when i didn’t have the words for what i was feeling. but now i know, it was grief. it was burnout. it was self-abandonment. and slowly, one pink post-it thought at a time, i started writing my way back to myself.
✿
when people ask what girlblogging even is, i just smile. because it’s not something you can explain in one sentence. it’s something you feel.
it’s the way you post blurry photos of your eyeliner because it makes you feel powerful. it’s the way you build entire personalities out of fictional girls like spencer hastings, wonyoung, cher horowitz, and elle woods. it’s the way you turn your trauma into templates and your survival into routines. it’s how we whisper “you’re not alone” to each other through digital scraps of diaries, gifs, playlists, and checklists titled ✧ how to feel like yourself again.
girlblogging is archiving your girlhood in real-time. and i think that’s the most radical thing we’ve ever done.
✿
i’ve met girls here who are quiet geniuses. girls who write like moonlight. girls who study like the world is ending. girls who’ve taught me how to rest, how to flirt with life again, how to turn breakdowns into soft resets. girls who made me feel seen in a way real life never did.
and the best part? they’re just like me. just like you. we’re all here, in this glittery corner of the internet, building worlds from our bedrooms, lighting candles for each other, sending each other healing in the form of moodboards and poetry and routines.
this is a community of unspoken survival. we never say it directly. we just post something beautiful and hope someone else recognizes the ache behind it.
and we do. every time.
✿
so this is my love letter. to you. to the girlbloggers. to the dreamers who stayed up late to make a new aesthetic header even though they had homework. to the girls who reblogged posts about self-worth while silently trying to believe them. to the ones who took notes like it was an artform. to the ones who healed in lowercase and sparkles. to the ones who are still learning how to love themselves in soft, sustainable ways.
you saved me. girlblogging saved me. you taught me how to live again.
and i just want to say... whatever you’re going through, you’re not weird for needing this space. you’re not cringey for making everything an aesthetic. you’re not “too much” for feeling everything at once.
you’re just a girl in the middle of becoming. and that’s a sacred thing.
never let the world convince you that softness isn’t powerful. it is. it always has been.
✿
so keep posting your little poems and guides. keep updating your theme at 1am. keep reblogging things that feel like you. because maybe girlblogging isn’t about being seen. maybe it’s about seeing yourself for the first time in forever.
and maybe that’s enough.

As I sat sipping my morning coffee, I couldn't help but wonder: why do we often wait for someone else to take us on a romantic date when the perfect partner has been there all along—ourselves?
We get so caught up in chasing love from others we often forget that sometimes that you can give yourself the love you need too.
There’s something soooo empowering about falling in love with your own presence. I mean why wouldn't I want to hangout with myself? I'm amazing, fun and smell good too.
When you take yourself out, you're not just spending time alone— you're setting the standard for yourself everytime you get dressed up and go to that fancy restaurant, everytime you grab your tote bag and favourite runners and go exploring in your city, or even monthly spa visits to pamper yourself. make your solo dates pop so you don't settle for less when it comes to romantic partners and platonic friendships
Sunset Beach Walk: Slip into your cutest sundress and wander along the beach as the sun sets. You could even pack yourself some of your fave sparkling drinks and some fruits! and everybody always feels better after they spend some time by the water.
Picnic in the Park: Pack a basket with your favorite snacks, a cozy blanket, and a good book. Find a shady spot under a tree 🍓📖
Yoga in the Garden: Roll out your mat in your backyard or a nearby garden. Breathe in the fresh air and stretch your body 🧘♀️🌸
Gallery Hopping: Spend an afternoon exploring local art galleries. Take your time admiring each piece and journal about it after 🖼️
Stargazing Night: On a clear night, lay out a blanket in your backyard or a quiet park and look up at the stars ✨
Food Solo Date Ideas
Café Hopping: Spend a day exploring cafés in your city and act like the main character in a sitcom or romcom. My fave thing about cafe's is people watching and making up storylines about people. ☕️
Gourmet Dinner for One: Dress up and take yourself to that fancy restaurant you’ve been eyeing. Put on that dress you've been "saving for a special occasion" and order yourself the whole bottle! 🍷
Baking Adventure: Try out a new baking recipe and create some new sweet treats, whatever you have leftover you can share with your girls 🥮🍪🍰
Farmers’ Market Feast: Visit a local farmers’ market and pick out fresh, seasonal ingredients. Then, head home and cook a delicious, wholesome meal just for you.
Ice Cream Parlor Indulgence: Treat yourself to a visit to an ice cream parlor.
Remember, darling, you're the star of your own show. Every moment spent with yourself is a chance to fall head over heels for the fabulous person you are. So, slip into that cute outfit, step out with all the confidence of a city girl in stilettos, and let the world bask in your glow.
After all, the greatest romance you'll ever have is the one you create within yourself.
random diary entry 📖
woke up to sunny skies and breeze today, along with a major headache. not everything can be nice all the time. at least I have a coffee in hand and a book in mind. 🌷
