Woo, I actually got a really nice Peridot today, it is perfect for what I wanna make actually, size, shape, etc.

Yeah, it takes quite a long time to sculpt but hopefully in time while I'm still inspired by the game I can do 'em. I have a lot of Steven Universe stuff I'm working on still with more I wanna do in general.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The funny thing is the characters that keep popping in my head to sculpt are Undyne, Muffet and Sans, sure there are a ton more but my mind keeps wandering to them more than the rest. 8D~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~if anything I might just invest the time to make these three. c:

Some W.i.p.s of Rainbow quartz and Sardonyx :D --- Sardonyx is almostish ready for paint, Rainbow Quartz isn't near that stage yet.

I kinda also want to sculpt some characters from Undertale, the characters are so adorable and unique ;v;

I forgot to mention, this is the Peridot I have, bigger than I remembered so a figure would be too big to make for this. I might make a plaque instead, that or find some more peridot that is smaller (this is the smallest thing I have besides jeremejevite, which is the size of a grain of rice and some cut gems.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is one of my favorites in my collection, I love when they have inclusions. I consider the first pic the front and the second pic the back.

Okay, I decided I will make Peridot next, as suggested I'll try to make her limb enhancers, I wanted to try anyways but...well, I'll see how it goes. I don't want a plain pose which might be hard making something with enhancers. If not I'll make another Peridot in the future :) I'll probably be able to make her other version then, I have to find out how to make fitting limbs while being removable without much seems showing.

I'm thinking of who to sculpt next but I can't think of who. All the gems designs and variations are great, (same with the other characters) I can't think of who to choose so I thought maybe asking the public would help. c:

What type of art do people want to see from me :D sculpture wise, or oh, what would be a sort of decorated box that would be interesting? I have a plain almost chest like box and a square shadow box.

Can anyone give me ideas of types of stuff to sculpt?

I started on a bust sculpt of Max from Life is Strange but I think I will scrap it and make a bigger one so I can add more detail. Nothing is WRONG with the one now, I have her face shape down, I just want to make a matching pair and I don't feel having them so small is a great idea.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not but, I don't have a computer anymore, haven't for awhile now, I'm not inactive, it just takes a lot longer to get sculpts done. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I haven't uploaded any drawings because of this, I don't know when I'll be able to draw again, if anything I'll try my best to invest in a sketchbook and drawing supplies to actually draw and seem more active. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I miss posting all the time, I have SO MUCH I am working on when it comes to sculpts and so much more ideas yet barely enough time (considering I don't have a JOB or social life, I need a time chamber that turns a single hour into a 24 hour day.. so I could be productive and other stuff as well as have a whole day each day to work.)

I want to sculpt Peridot, I just can't think of I way I wanna make her.

I made Opal a long, long time ago but was just too heavily discouraged to finish it due to breakage from an unexpected move and bad paints.(And just probably not the best clay to use on something like this for me.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She still isn’t finished because there are so many errors it gives me almost the feeling of art block to attempt to finish. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At that each time I fix something, something breaks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wanted to sell her but I doubt anyone would buy even if finished. (If I finish I think I'll just update these photos rather than posting new ones.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Usually I say they look better in person but in this case it looks better in photos. She is about 11 inches tall, so the biggest thing i’ve made since HS.

It bothers me that other random people think you are a failure for choosing not to go to college. Especially when you yourself KNOW you don't need to go. Especially when tons of teachers have told you privately that "college is for those who need to learn or just to get the 'official' title to something, especially when it comes to being an artist" They told me it was a waste of MY time and money.

Im being lazy but at least I don't need to focus when it comes to sanding c: Also im trying out a new type of paint, I'll be trying it out on a mini bust of Chloe from Life is Strange. (The reason is the colors that were bought are pretty much her color scheme) if they work out i will buy more while still trying out some other brands.

I made Opal from SU awhile back, sadly it was when I had horrible paints+breakage due to moving. I was almost done painting, touching up scrapes and such but realized that there was so much done I'm not satisfied with how she turned out AT ALL. Her feet and bow need to be painted as well... The question is, should I finish and post it anyways, or just toss it?

If anyone is interested I'm selling some of my sculptures. I need money to get better supplies for my work. I want to make sure my sculptures are the best quality they can be as well as just in general get supplies ive ran out of. I also might possibly need a molding kit, I plan on doing my best to get into a local artists alley, my stuff takes FOREVER , so making a good amount of individual pieces multiple people can afford requires making casts of whatever that will be. That and I can do commissions if anyone is interested. The things for sale are the Amethyst, Pearl, Garnet and Lapis Lazuli. (I also have an Opal figure for sale, I just need to finish some things on her before posting, I kinda stopped painting to sculpt again haha)

Still nothing really ready to post but I’m tired of going months on end with no posting so I’ll probably just post works in progress and once I can get drawing supplies do that again as well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another sculpt of Lapis Lazuli :3 might end up making a lot of her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just want to say now that this in particular was inspired by the Fayth in Final Fantasy X. (I might make more, idk yet though, it was a side thing I was casually doing alongside figures) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I haven’t painted this yet because I was thinking of maybe trying to make copies of this if anyone would be interested in buying. Some others have told me I should try making them into mirrors (I didnt put two and two together, it is the same size as a handle mirror too.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I still need to refine some things before painting or possibly molding, mainly just sanding, lots of sanding. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also does anyone know how to prevent text clumping together on posts on mobile?

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate every +Like I can get, but to be honest +likes don’t do shit for an artist. No one will look through your +likes except you. If you really like an artist give them some exposure, yknow? We work really hard and will appreciate any feedback we can get!!

I haven’t had the content to post lately, all I have are works in progress pretty much :o all of these are about halfway done. (Except for the center one, those are part of something a lot bigger.) I’m working on a lot of other things but don’t have enough progress for me to post those. Top is Sardonyx(Steven Universe), left is Ruby and Sapphire(Steven Universe), middle are sup guys(Cryaotic),right is Rainbow Quartz(Steven Universe) (If possible ideas would be amazing. When it comes to Steven Universe, characters, themes, motifs, etc. Anything in general. When it comes to Cry, outfits that seem apocolyptic, “cool”, would be fun to sculpt, scenery, detailed gear?,weapons, poses, whatever else that is thinkable of. c: This in particular I plan to be one of the bigger projects I do as well as Max and Chloe from Life is Strage. (Planning stages until I can get the materials I need :D) As for drawing, I don’t know when I can again , poopy computer and lack of drawing supplies, honestly though I’ll probably invest in some copics before the computer.~

Finally uploading something after a million years. —– Another lapis Lazuli c: This was a commission. She is rather tiny compared to the others so far. Random thoughts~ I hate seeing so much negativity everywhere. I'm not going to be specific about anything but I hope I can explain the best I can. First I'd like to say it is impossible for ME to shorten this. My thought process can't fathom how to compress thoughts. It seems people everywhere have a huge lack of empathy, unable to think of how someone elses life may be, as well as how certain things effect them in their life, their reactions. The thing that REALLY bothers me is I see all these people heavily badmouthing, insulting, making jokes at people they used to claim to admire. In reality I've NEVER seen anyone leave a friendship or something similar for a few bad events, I've seen everyone do things much, much worse. (Without even knowing half the story who are immediate friends at times.) The thing as well though is things are circumstantial, theres no way to know whats going on by just observing, its gossip, its horrible. I know certain people from totally different point of views than others, and just from that it honestly disgusts me to see what people say. I might slightly be going in circles here but I see it as the worst type of hypocrisy when this situation kinda arises: -people do a possibly negative thing in response to others being rude, possibly annoying, etc.- Or -people react badly to something or in an unacceptable way- And in response I see people reacting in the same way but sometimes worse than the people they are reacting to. That in itself isn't a big deal but what IS, is when i see people months after something STILL talking badly and insulting anything related in a joking fashion. Thats just spreading negativity and just stirring up things people shouldn't be involved with in the first place. People aren't your personal tv show even when it involves people doing that for a living. It also bothers me seeing people trying to invalidate mental illness and certain disorders. Why? Because I have to live with the same thing through out my life. I CAN'T control how I react to people, I DON'T realize when I'm mean, the feeling passes over me but its like the "one ear out the other" thing, or when you have a gut feeling but ignore it. And its scary when the exact fears kinda come to the surface. Let me just say, this is the only way I can describe anything right now. "You can't explain to a person who has been blind all their life what SEEING actually looks like, just as you can't imagine a new color." What that means is just because you experience life one way doesnt mean someone else feels the same things as you, some have to deal with things that are unimaginable even though some may see it as petty and dumb. No ones in "the right" or "the wrong" things like this happen and it sucks. The thing is, things like these are things that need to be WORKED THROUGH, at that no one should be condemned by things like this either, at that by ones not even involved, even if its just a friend of a friend. I say this because I deal with things like this all my life, as I'm sure plently of others have as well. I have severe anxiety, tourette's, depression, and bpd. (Tourettes in itself is a bundle of disorders and junk.) _________ (I may be getting too personal within my own life here but I feel its the only way I can get my message through.) These right here are the exact reasons why I dont talk to people online or in real life. As certain individuals do, i react harshly, I dont realize it, combined with that the anxiety is a catalyst to being unable to control tics from my tourettes. The problem within that is my second set of tics that come out involve actual outwardly physical things such as: hitting others, Things, Squeezing things, breaking things in half without realizing it, etc. I've been arrested for things I can't physically control, Ive been called evil, a bitch, crazy, a demon, monster, It really hurts. (The charges were able to be dropped luckily, didn't stop all the trauma it caused.) I can guarantee you no one can even imagine what it feels like. Just because two people have the same/similar illness, life, experiences,etc. Doesn't mean they are supposed to be an exact copy on how they react. __________ I try to only post art on here, I am honestly afraid to directly communicate with anyone, I have a hard time even replying to others. I am posting this here because I feel maybe it would be okay to say something for once. (I haven't posted in forever though due to computer problems, and skill honing with art in general. Not satisfied). _______ I'd also like to say it extremelly pisses me off that just because people only see things from their view and word of mouth that they automatically label someone as a monster, spineless, a flat out bad person, etc. Yet just because you see that you try to push the fact theyre a bad person who should be disliked. But what you dont know is those same people/person could have seriously saved a person/peoples lives behind the scenes, that the/those same individual(s) you claim to be monsters could have been the best thing to occur in someone elses life, many even. Why does a few things make someone a bad person? And why do people mock others when they respond with "no ones perfect." Because its true. I've noticed from other sites and things not involving certain topics here that there is a mob mentality to things. I have been trying to become more social by taking part in discussions. The thing ive noticed is on the "normal" parts of, let us say Facebook for instance, most people rule on the opinion part no matter how messed up the opinion is, while people who try to come in with actual discussion or kinder opinions get attacked, everyone says how wrong and dumb they are if you make one slip up. On the other hand... Being on Facebook with a psychology group, those same posts, same topics are seen at rationally without heavy opinions, problem solving without creating conflict. That is what needs to be done here and in life in general. Of coarse I could still say this is all just my opinion, just one I feel needs to be said. I'm pretty sure I cant cover every single little detail here, there will always be a "loophole" people will abuse in someones words or actions. Thank you if anyone read this, though vague I hope it makes sense.

I am going to attempt to sculpt Max and Chloe from Life is Strange. c8 I am posting this because I know if I never put it down in text I won't do it or something.

I probably won't be uploading many drawings at all, or any in general (unless it's from a Sketchbook and/or has to do with sculpture concepts.) I'm not satisfied with my art, not with my speed mainly, or with how I go about things. I'm just going to be doing sculpts and stuff for awhile as it has been the past few months c: I won't lie, I feel highly discouraged when it comes to drawing, for many reasons. Oh, also my computer isn't doing so well (it's internal fan doesn't work as well as our USB fans died so I can't be on the computer longer than five minutes without heating up badly and freezing badly.)

Things I was working on, gonna start working on them again soon as well as planning on making a lot of other things 8) Been busy with a few commissions. I'm sure it's easy to guess who is who here so I'll just let people guess.

Would anyone want to buy this figure of Rhys from Tales from the Borderlands? He was a practice figure but I want to make a new one since I've gotten better supplies now :D Just offer..? I dunno. He's about two inches tall. I'll touch some things up on him before sending em out as well . I don't think I can cover shipping costs unless it's added to the payment. But I'm serious, is anyone interested?
