i love how in leverage nate ford doesn't get monologued to by villains. he gives a monologue, with genuine pleasure and complete unconcern for what's going to happen to him. you sort of get the sense that if he could whip out a powerpoint and a long stick to point with, he would. along with graphs and charts that he made hardison make.
Im always thrilled to find other passengers on this train 😄
"...For me personally, 'May the Force be with You', just 'cause I love what it represents and, you know, getting to hear that from people and say that to people, it's a good one. " -Hayden Christensen, SWCE 2023
HAPPY STAR WARS DAY! ✨🪐
Me when the stakes are high and the goofy character gets all focused and serious:
Peter seemed to only have Cisco as a close friend (and Zoe before she left). Working the night shift probably left him with very limited time to actually hang out with friends anyway. And when he was at work, he was completely alone in that windowless room.
After Zoe left, there must have been so many days and stretches of time where the only interactions Peter would have with others would be barked orders from Hawkins or snide comments from the other FBI agents or being trolled by the Rome Tome dudes.
Rose is the one who nearly cries and admits she feels so alone, but Peter must have been feeling the exact same way for months as well.
Notice: not only do your friends actually like you, they secretly like you twice as much as they let on
legolas is such an important character to me because of how at a surface level when you first watch the movies you see him as this aloof mystical tactical elf-prince but then when you really start getting into his lore you realise he’s essentially just some homeschooled kid from the middle of nowhere who applied to a huge university in the big city to get away from home and is genuinely baffled at everything he sees and people assume his confusion is him being mysterious when in reality half the time he’s just trying to process what the hell is going on
me to myself: relax
also me to myself: i cannot

head not empty. too many fictional characters wreaking havoc in it.
I've always hated the rule about silence for golf. Like: "Ooh! I'm a golfer! I require perfect concentration and a controlled environment to hit a ball with a stick."
You know what would take REAL SKILL? Loud Golf
Like, golf is already a crime against water tables and humanity, but I'd binge watch a season of Obstacle Golf!
Angry Bull loose on the course
Crowd with Vuvuzelas and Kazoos
Environment Activists armed with hatchets lurking in the bushes
One of the golf carts is rigged to explode.
the frequency of needing to food shop because you eat food and therefore deplete what you previously bought and need to restock…………being an adult is a nightmare
I'm a simple girl; I see disaster characters who are simultaneously dorks and I bring out the adoption papers
