I've never had a nanny since I'm the last child of 5 but it made me remember something that I found quite funny

In one house we lived in back when I was around maybe 3 or 4 yo, there was a family's house close to us ... like from our kitchen we could see inside their living room kind of close

We got along nice with them, I think the two daughters of the family may have watch over me once or twice (can't really remember)

Anyway the point is that one day my mom was in the kitchen and when she look up, she saw me on the neighbours couch watching tv with the two daughters when I should be well inside of my own house. I apparently just knocked on their door and they let me in ... just to watch tv

Lets just say my mom was kind of flabbergasted

grandparents/family members etc do not count, of course. im talking someone that was paid to look after you

This is terrible but today when I was playing volleyball outside with some friends one of their children (18 months) was sort of ambling around on his stumpy little toddler legs and so we were all trying to be careful and like not spike the ball onto the baby but then he wandered over to his father, who picked him up bc dad reflexes, and then the ball got passed over to the dad and he sort of had a no thoughts moment and instinctively used his child to smack the volleyball over to the next person. Like he just swung the kid and used his legs like a baseball bat. I'm never going to forget his face of premature regret mid baby-manuever right when he realized what he was doing AND the instant he realized his wife saw it happen. Anyway the baby was fine he didn't make contact with the ball all that hard and he was just mad his dad wouldn't use him as a club again but I had to sit down because I laughed so hard I cried.

Ok hear me out Enid dies during her fight with Tyler for the sake of this I’m gonna say that the sheriff shot twice and they were silver bullets Enid couldn’t recover and died and so The Hug™️ never happened she never came back right so funeral happens people grieve then there’s Wednesday who’s not gonna accept that death took her girl before she she even got a chance to become her girl so she pulls some seance stuff and she brings her back but here’s the twist her ghost ancestors are like "fine we’ll bring her back but it will cost a price" and of course she’s like "anything" and boom before you know it enid is bursting out of the ground Wednesday’s confused at first but she recovers quickly when she finally gets a chance to help her up out of the hole she notices Enid is different she’s not hugging her or questioning why she’s back she’s just quiet staring at her with an emotionless look on her face she thinks maybe she’s in shock so she does what any reasonable person would do and starts bombarding her with questions Enid, are you okay?" "Are you hurting at all?" "Do you remember me?" So Enid responds, "Why wouldn’t I remember you? I’m fine." And that just left her with more questions than answers, cause that’s an interesting tone to use for the girl you DIED for, but she didn’t care at the moment; she was just happy Enid was back, so she led her back to the room, then asked Enid to shower to get the smell of death off her. Enid agreed, and so she waited. That’s when all the questions came to mind: why does she sound so emotionless? Why was she so stone-faced? Was she angry with her? So Enid’s done showering and the night goes on. The next morning they go outside and try to explain how Enid was brought back from the dead The only issue is that it seems that Enid hasn’t snapped back yet. She’s still got that same dead look and tone. Even when people come up to her and cry or hug her, she doesn’t change. It’s becoming more concerning than the fact she was dead yesterday, so Wednesday confronts get about it. "What’s wrong with you?" "Excuse me?" "What’s wrong with you? you’re acting strange." "Thank you." "That wasn’t a compliment." "Oh." "Answer the question, why are you being such a brute?" "I don’t know; I can’t feel anything." "What do you mean you can’t feel anything." "I have all my memories. I remember feeling sadness, joy, and anger, but I can’t bring myself to feel any of those things." And then Wednesday is reminded of the price she was told about, so she accepts it and thinks back to how Enid got her to open up to her, and just like that, the roles reverse. Enid’s the silent one who seemingly wants nothing to do with anyone, and Wednesday attempts to be more outgoing to try and coax Enid to open up again, but she’s being difficult; she has no interest in interacting with Wednesday at all, but Wednesday is persistent, and very slowly, Enid starts feeling again.

(Maybe I should make an au I have a lot of ideas for this)

I had a giant snail as pet. It was as big as my head.

I would walk them with a proper leash around their shell. I would overtake them, wait for them to catch up, walk a bit more and then wait again.
