This fine art piece is unique- artist Robin Samadhi of Santa Fe, NM- you can frame each page as is or color them in as you please. Title of this book/art pack is “My Hungry Ghosts”. Each page is 11x14, on heavy weight artist paper. He must have had these printed specially, this cannot be done this size/paper/quality on a standard printer. They were for sale in a gallery on Canyon Road. They are likely based off an illustration series he did with this theme, and developed this coloring pack of posters. What a great way to make collaborative work. They are all enticing to color in!
Hungry ghosts are supernatural beings that consume more than they can handle or desires more than they can consume.
I think of it as more of a human condition concept, about our relationship with the world and its elements. What are we taking, what are we giving back. What do we need vs. want. What do we hunger for & when we get it what do we do with it?

Large Antique mixing bowl. Lots of beautiful, authentic, Wabi Sabi, Or Shibui. Japanese aesthetic words/philosophies. Loosely translated: Shibui means an an aesthetic that only time can reveal, Wabi Sabi means the beauty of imperfection, how flaws bring deep beauty to objects, experiences. The perfection of imperfection.
Manufacturing place or company is unknown. I bought it from an estate sale in Santa Fe, NM.
Yes, you can put it through your dishwasher & in your microwave. Not your oven. I had it in my antique & art collection & sometimes used it as a fruit bowl. Its looks amazing filled with things like avocados, plums, apples etc..
This is sturdy & solid & heavyweight, has many beautiful "flaws", pitted glaze, crazing, chip etc.
The glaze is glossy and may be an oxidized iron based glaze or rutile.
Clay body: White Stoneware. Traditional stacked firing method from Bottle neck kilns.

He passed away- what a incalculable loss for humanity- & yet he was able to gift his incredible thinking & mind to us. To bridge that gap between theoretical & applied physics- to the rest of us :)
AND amazing scientific evolution is happening right now in the exploration of actual black holes. International scientists collaborating. (Check out the documentaries on Netflix.)
How refreshing in an age of continual human turmoil- for humans to come together about the biggest questions- our bigger inquiries & continually expand our understanding of life & the universe.

Find this delight in my Poshmark listings- cast bronze mini camera sculpture - with loops- can add a strap- make it a pendant or key chain or adornment or add to your collection. Bronze casts are first sculpted in wax- it is a multistep tedious process- resulting in a long lasting one of a kind casting. This camera fits in the palm of your hand. Has two little loops- integrated into the camera body- just like a real camera. It is hollow- a nice weight- very different than other metals. Artist unknown. Origin unknown. Age unknown.
