The importance to renew ones intentions aren’t spoken about enough! It’s so easy to slip up and there’s so many rewards you will miss out on if your intentions aren’t right. Always remember to renew your intentions before you begin a matter. Even the smallest act, bi’idhnillah.

“How can a believer not shed tears at the departure of Ramadan, when he doesn’t even know whether he’ll be alive for its return or not?”
[لطائف المعارف ص ٢١٧]
May Allah allow us to witness plenty more Ramadan’s.

Abul ‘Āliyyah [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“A time will come upon the people wherein there hearts will be devoid and derelict of the Qur’ān.
They will find neither sweetness nor acquire any delight by its recitation.
If they fall short of performing what they have been commanded to do, they will say: ‘Certainly, Allāh is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’
If they commit that which they have been forbidden from doing, they will say: ‘We shall be forgiven, we have not associated any partners unto Allāh.’
Their affairs will be based on covetousness [and false hope], possessing no truth [and no sincerity].”
Kitāb az-Zuhd, 1714 | Al-Imām Ahmad bin Hanbal [may Allāh have mercy on him]
Allah swt sees your daily struggles, He knows your internal dilemmas, He hears your silent questions, He recognizes that you're trying and He appreciates your weak attempts to strive in His path. He would never let your efforts go astray. The reward is coming. The relief is coming. The faraj is coming. Keep going my dear. Never stop trying. Never stop striving. Never stop walking towards Allah swt.
When does a war end? When can i say your name and have it mean only your name and not what you left behind?

Like a sweater, do you wear me too?
i am listening to 5 year olds in gaza beg for ceasefires and talk about the warplanes and drones and carry language no one should carry but especially no one so small. they should be sitting in classrooms reading fables, solving silly word problems but the world decided they were born guilty, from a guilty womb, from guilty blood. and people on the other side of a wall and the other side of the world cheered on their death. i want no part in that world, i reject every politician, every news anchor, every celebrity. i reject their movies, their music, their UN work, their empty calls for peace. i want no part in this machine of death. i want no part and can no longer desire anything from life except for the people of palestine, sudan, congo, yemen, and a hundred other places to never have the murderous reach of western imperialism near them ever again.
