On the night of my birthday Saturday 14th i started to experience terrible benzo withdrawals because I had stop taking my medicine, as a result i tried to commit s/ out from desperation because the symptoms were hell like.
I'm doing fine, i spent some time at the hospital and now I'm home resting
i am making this post if any of you would like to help me through this traumatic experience that has left me with troubles i didn't take in consideration while doing that stupid stuff that Saturday night

Trans rights are human rights
Brianna Ghey was a 16 year old trans girl who was murdered on Saturday 11 February 2023 in the UK.
and as you can imagine, there are some dickheads who are dismissing this tragedy, cheering on this crime, and celebrating at this loss of life BECAUSE Brianna was trans.
this is what transphobia leads to. this is what happens when irrational hate for trans people, because these bigots seem to forget that we are PEOPLE, remains prevalent in wider society. this is what happens when the basic human right to live as happily and healthily as possible is discarded and overstepped for the sake of remaining in the repressive and oppressive status quo that benefits no one but the privileged.
you lose the ability to see other people as people. you lose your humanity, all for a moment of feeling superior over someone whose life is different to your own.
you can donate to a verified gofundme for Brianna's family here
but to every bastard who doesn't see an issue with her murder because she was trans, i hope you choke on a chainsaw.
Being aromantic, asexual, or aspec in any amount does not make you inhuman, sick, or in need of treatment. You are wonderful as you are
Context: [Link 1, Link 2]
this is something thatās been lost as common knowledge both since the drop off of anti-ace discourse and directly Because of it ever having been a thing in the first place, but in light of recent published bigotry pointed at aspecs (aces And aros) gaining attention I think this is something that bares emphasizing:
this reaction isnāt new, itās something weāve seen from conservatives for decades now.
a commonly accepted talking point is that conservative christians Must love aspec people, because they represent the theoretical ideal of abstinence. itās something that I see even from spaces that Arenāt using it as a weapon against aspecs, and in a vacuum it makes sense as an Assumption.
but the thing it misses is that conservative christians do not think asexual and aromantic people Are Real. when they idolize abstinence itās as a great sacrifice that one makes to defeat the Universal Demon Of Lust. and, more importantly, Itās Something Thatās Supposed To End. youāre Supposed to get into a nice heterosexual christian marriage and have lots of little babies that you take to your nice heterosexual christian church, repeated ad infinitum.
and moreover, both christians and popular society In General see our ability for romantic love as The Thing That Makes Humans Human.
so you introduce the concept of people who Donāt experience either of those things and you get two reactions.
1: horror. the āthis is a mental/physical illness that desperately needs to be fixedā approach. the idea is monstrous or pitiable but always revolting. they Believe that you live this way, but they donāt believe that itās something that a ānormalā human being could experience or that itās something that someone could be Happy experiencing.
2: Suspicion. they donāt believe that asexuality or aromanticism Is Real, therefore it Must be a coverup for something even more revolting than is being lead on. itās not unlike the idea that any feminine or non-threatening trait in a guy (Any guy) is Really just him trying to lure women into a false sense of security by Being seemingly non-threatening, and is therefore even More suspicious as a potential threat.
weāve Always seen āwell if he doesnāt want to fuck humans then Iāll Bet He Wants To Fuck Something Elseā and pedophilia accusations/implications. they donāt see aspecs as Pure and Holy, they see them as a threat either to their understanding of what humans can be or as a wolf in sheepās clothing trying to get away with something.
this is hardly even the first time that aspecs have been presented this way in published news articles or tv. the difference is that public awareness of asexuality and aromanticism has shifted, and with it the bigotry that was always there is being amplified.
that said, I think itās important to emphasize that this isnāt new, considering the history of erasure ace and aro people have experienced when trying to talk about said bigotry.
I donāt necessarily think this post needs āevidenceā (especially with the fox news article already linked above), but for the sake of illustration lets turn back the clock to 2015 for one of the examples I have saved [Link]

hello everyone! I am writing a dissertation on gender identity and how it can be affected by relationships with other people. This questionnaire is open to all (although some questions are specifically addressed to trans people or people who are part of marginalized communities) and entirely anonymous. I'm trying to spread it around as much as possible so reblogs are appreciated + if you want to take it, thank you so much <3
Please spread the word of this blog so that people know it exists. Ā This is a safe place for all LGBTQ+ people regardless of gender or sexual identity.
it's cold and we can't afford the £10 a day for heating or the new, increased price of the dry cat food we buy. we also need to make up the rest of our rent again (like £110 lmfao)
hey if you're a UK resident can you sign this petition and if not please rb to spread the word
this is an official UK government petition that they have to respond to if it reaches 10,000 signatures
Ace rings and Aro rings. What are they?
An ace ring is a black ring, usually worn on the middle finger of the right hand, that indicates you are on the asexual spectrum. An aro ring is the basically the same thing just white and worn on your left hand on the middle finger. Placement is important since other communities us rings to identify themselves. Many people on the spectrum donāt know about the rings, so it is often times a more personal symbol. Itās just a really neat way to embrace your ace-ness and/or aro-ness.
Some people go with plain black and plain white., but others like their rings with a little bit more to them. Some people might go out even further and get rings that are dragon-like. I will explain the meaning of dragons in the ace community in a later post. There are even rings out there with the ace of spades (and other suits) which the meaning of that is explained in one of my previous posts. There are also cool rings out there that are less subtle that have the aro flag colors, ace flag, colors, and the sunset aroace flag. Overall, just the normal ace ring, a black ring with embellishments, and any other ace symbols are used by people! People have all sorts of different rings that fit within the aro/ace ring vibe.
Feel free to reblog and get this info out there! Źā¢į“„ā¢Ź

Hehehe Iām a demiboy <3
Making this cause I have an idea... if I were to make a sideblog specifically for aro and ace fandom stuff (books, shows, podcasts, etc with ace and aro characters, or sharing posts about characters that are canonically and headcanoned as aro and ace) would people follow it? Hoping to create a space where aros/aces/aroaces can connect but like using a fandom space as a jumping off point
Say 'woot woot' in the tags if you're interested. Or just help me signal boost?
Best of luck

Ok yāall, I need you to drop links for free binder services. Itās November which means that parents wonāt think itās odd for their children to request that they not inspect packages. Theyāll simply assume itās a present for whatever holiday they observe. So please do your part by dropping links in the reblogs and trying to get this seen by those who need it
edit: k, so I mean this in nicest way possible. Liking isnāt going to help anyone. This isnāt just for me, other people need these links. If you if you canāt/donāt have the energy to find and post links to ACTIVE donations. Please at least reblog so someone who follows you can. Please and thank you <3
it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't have, want, or try to look like you have a beard. it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't pack or don't want to. it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't really wear men's clothing. it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't bind. it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't have a deep voice. it's okay if you're a trans guy and you don't pass. it's okay to be a trans guy and just be for a while.
people push trans guys to get to the end of their transitions way too fast. it's okay to just be pre-t for a while. it's okay to be never-t. it's okay to not get surgeries. it's okay to take it slow and think. it's okay to not rush into changing your name or socially transitioning. it's okay to take it slow
there are lots of ways to be a trans guy. it's okay to take it at your own pace
this year i finally had the courage to tell my family and loved ones that i am trans/non binary, not everyone understands but they let me know i am loved and i couldnāt be more relieved or grateful.
by pure luck, a side effect of the meds i have to take for other health reasons, promote facial hair growth, itās bizarre what a faint tash and fluff on your chin and cheeks can do for your confidence when youāre trans masc.
i am however desperate to receive top surgery, my chest is my biggest insecurity and main trigger for my gender dysphoria.
iām unable to work full time so raising funds is near impossible, so iāve set up a go fund me for anyone with anything to spare to help me, no matter how small or large, it all makes a difference.
merry christmas and thank you to anyone that can help, it really would mean the absolute world.
hey gang iām nat :(
iām a black transfemme who has gotten covid and is burning through their savings fast in quarantine, i need maybe 150$ to get groceries and pay some utility bills for the time I canāt work
i have a really understanding boss which Iām grateful for but anything would very helpĀ
my cashapp is $heartyamalaĀ Ā
i also have an amazon wishlist if you want to help get me some warmer clothing + vitamins
thank you so much please rt if you canāt donate, any amount helps.Ā
so because i have the absolute best luck and immune system in the world, i am out of work with Covid for the 2nd time in a year. i am very broke and a week without work is not good for me!!! as such, if you have ever thought about commissioning, now is a great time. i take commissions for informative bird posts like you see on the blog - just check the search function on the blog first to make sure I havenāt already posted the bird youād like to request! my kofi is here, and the minimum payment is only $3! anything is appreciated + thank you regardless of whether or not you are able to commission!
Same.
This blog is a safe space for:
LGBTQ+ people
People on the spectrum
Systems
Trans people
Nonbinary people
People who use neopronouns
People who support the people mentioned above
And more besides
Why am I saying this? Because people don't say it enough. People tend to have a tough time knowing you're a safe space unless you explicitly say so and back that up with your actions.
**URGENT: PLEASE READ/SIGNAL BOOST**
Saturday, December 3rd: Hi everyone, Iām Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman, who is in desperate need of help, as my 14-year-old dog passed away and I need help to pay her vet bill and get her ashes.
Last Wednesday was the worst day of my life, as what I thought was a minor health issue with my dog Luna; her not eating, being lethargic and breathing heavily, turned out to be a large tumour in her stomach that had ruptured, which caused internal bleeding and infection. I then had to decide between a risky surgery with a low success rate or putting her to sleep. After discussing with the veterinarian, we decided that the best option was to end her suffering and have her euthanized.
I was with her until the end as she went to sleep, and it has been a harrowing week for me. My life feels empty without her, and I'm struggling now more than ever. One of the many struggles I have, is her vet bill, as I now owe £556.31 to the veterinary clinic & PCS (Pet Cremation Services) for Luna's treatment and ashes. However, due to being disabled and on welfare benefits that are awaiting mental/physical health assessments, it hasn't been easy for me to pay this bill along with my rent and utilities, which I've had to use previous funds on!!
The veterinary clinic called me earlier and informed me that her ashes will be available to collect on Monday, so I have until then to raise the funds for them and the vet bill.
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if itās just Ā£1/$1/ā¬1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you!! ā¤
