headcanon: the voice of the cold gets hungry a lot, or at least he really values food.

he knows how it feels to go hungry for an eternity. the Narrator also deprived him of taste and smell in the Good Ending. and he did not enjoy that in the slightest.

which means the sensation of being starved alive is all too easy to recall. so he now eats literally anything available when he feels the slightest of hunger pangs.

or, even when he doesn't feel like eating, he sometimes goes ahead and catches a bite anyway.
