Had a super productive day yesterday, so today things are moving a tad slower
Decided to do this in a break to take my mind off the courses
1/100 days of productivity
I spent the whole day sleeping, eating and watching dexter in between sleep because I’m from duty. I managed to get myself out of bed and dragged myself to a coffee shop to study because! I feel like I’m not studying enough 😭 anyhow, will stay here longer! to more studying, to more disciplined routine, to kindness.
i finished babel last week and only managed to recently finish annotating because i needed time to digest everything that happened in the book 🥲😭❤️🩹 . babel’s a masterpiece. i loved the book from the beginning till the end. the diverse characters are amazing, the dark academia setting/atmospheric writing is stunning, and tying all this with the whole plot being focused on the power of language and translation is just exquisite. this is one of the best books i’ve ever read 😭 so many books that i’ve read this hear have been so amazing 🥹✨ what is a book that you’ve recently read and loved? https://www.instagram.com/p/CklBX86vPAd/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I'm the kind of a person who adores walking in the rain and the scent of wet earth loves coffee, stays up late at night, doesn't meddle in others' affairs, laughs at the notion of love despite believing in it, and a friend of all and yet feels lonely, prefers to be absent but present rather than present but absent, doesn't know how to hate someone but good in the departure
push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you.

Trying to get back in the studying mood is the hardest part of studying.
There's still time left until my midterms, but I don't want to cram a lot right before the exams, so I'm trying to get back on track. Productivity level is remarkably low.
Any advice on getting motivated to study?
When I study, it helps me a lot to write down the information, even if I don't go back to look at it, so it would've been a lot of paper waste on my part. I decided to get a tablet and I'm a huge Android fan. This is my Samsung tab s6, i got it second hand, and after one year of using it a lot, I still have no complaints!
Highly recommend it :)
(you can also attach a keyboard and make it a super portable 'laptop')
I request advice! I'll be starting on a new academic road this coming August and I desire to not use as much paper as I did in undergraduate.
For context, I'm a mathematics student for whom hand-typed notes are made more accessible by LaTeX but still not easily producible during a lecture, particularly if that lecture involves multiple operations, fractions within fractions, and symbols I haven't encountered before. In geometry classes, there is no hope. Moreover, practicing mathematics context is best done by hand, at least for me.
What I'm seeking are paper-less options that will still allow me to "hand write." I've seen iPad and Apple Pencil recommendations online, but I prefer non-Apple products. What has worked well for others, math or non-math?
I chose to waste time in a way I like, and everything aesthetic fills my soul
