I saw this and automatically thought of them... I wanted to work a little more with a lineless style tho

My take away from the Goomer pinboard section is that Goomer x Ray/Captain Man is actually THE ship. Childhood rivals, you were beautiful, reconnecting years later. Goomer, after years of mistreatment and manipulation, finally being shown so kindness by Ray. Who yes, is immature, but ultimately still a force for good, who could help Goomer see all the ways he's been treated badly by others, and redeem him from villain lackey to hero sidekick.
