Wild can do incredibly accurate monster/animal impressions. And will do so when he is bored to see who reacts to what. In general he finds it amusing but he's come pretty close to being attacked by other members of the chain out of reflex
I am in tears
Dpxdc prompt:
Danny has made a bet to haunt and scare the inhabitants of a certain place.
His first attempt at spooking someone did not go like he thought it would. He ended up in a staring contest with Cass till the awkwardness of it had him disappearing and fleeing the scene. All his other attempts resulted in a similar result.
It soon became a point of pride. Didn't matter that he got everyone else to run screaming away from him. Cass was the one person he couldn't spook, and it bothered him. A surprise jump does not count.
Cass from her pov keeps reading Danny as harmless as a tiny kitten all throughout his antics.
Legend & Wild fluff

Inspired by Hylia only knows what.
"Legend?"
The veteran’s head turs to look at him, lifting from the very heavy looking tome he was reading, all curled up on the couch, feet tucked under himself and honestly looking so comfortable it almost seems a sin to disturb him. Nothing is said, but the question of what he wants is evident in the veteran’s eyes.
“Can I hold you?”
Legend blinks, once, twice, a third time. “Excuse me?”
Wild shifts, limbs all too heavy and too light at the same time and nerves screaming in ways he can’t actually put words to. “Can I- I ne- want, I want to hold someone. I’m supposed to be holding someone? I don’t know what’s going on but-”
The vet rolls his eyes. “In other words, you want cuddles.” Despite the snort in the words, he’s marking his place in his book and shifting upwards.
That’s not exactly what Wild meant. “No, not really? I don’t-” he’s not sure if he should continue speaking or stop when the vet pauses, staring at him. “It’s not that I want cuddles, I’m not Sky. I just...” It feels like he ought to be holding onto someone. It’s strange, weird, unexplainable, but the warm house, the fire crackling softly away, the sounds of Malon and Time murmuring in the kitchen, the fading light and the soft sound of turning pages....
It’s like he’s drifting on the edges of a memory, like a vision just behind his eyes or around a shut off wall inside of his head. There’s something saying that he is meant to be here, that maybe this is home, maybe this is where a small part of him- one he’s never really sensed before- feels that things are familiar. Things are right.
The fire crackling, the muffled laughter and dancing shadows in the kitchen. The rumble of Time’s indistinct voice, Malon’s sweet song like one rising beside it. The way the firelight dances over Legend’s features, softening harsher lines and washing warmth over fine features instead. Maybe it’s the dreamy expression that was on his brother’s face a moment before, or perhaps the crisp sound of pages hissing over each other, well-worn and faded. Maybe it’s the hints of scrawled out writing he’s peeked on the margins, or maybe the huddled posture of his companion. Maybe it’s the way there’s quiet outside, only the faintest sound of the wind just outside the windows.
Maybe it’s the feeling of peace that’s settled over the house in the absence of the others.
Over dinner, Twilight had suggested taking the rest out to sleep out in the barn for the night, up in the hayloft where they could watch the stars and enjoy the fresh air and have more space between them then laying out across the floor in one of the rooms in the house. Most of the others had been up for it, Sky the first to agree and Hyrule and Wind quick to follow, for differing reasons but with equal excitement. Hryule doesn’t like being indoors, and Wind enjoys the adventure of sleeping out in a barn, a rare experience for him that most of them are well familiar with. Warriors was the only one they’d had doubts about, but Twilight’s ribbing and teasing and a bet on whether the captain could make it through the night in a barn, laying on the straw amid the animals, had quickly changed that. Four had gone along, claiming he had to see it for himself, but that had left himself and Legend.
Legend wanted to read his book and curl up on the couch where his joints were at ease.
Wild wanted to enjoy the quiet.
He loves his brothers, he does, but having so many people around feels wrong for some reason. Yet now, sitting alone in the quiet, it feels wrong to not have someone with him as well, even if Legend’s right there in front of him, pouring over the hefty tome that eeks of heavy, powerful magic.
There’s something missing, something wrong, some sensation or want that could complete this picture but which he can’t name. There’s someone missing, and while he knows it’s not actually Legend, it’s someone like Legend, he’s sure of it.
“You can say no.”
The vet sighs, stretching. “It’s fine,” His guarded eyes say otherwise.
“It’s dumb.”
Violet snap at him, darkness in their depths for a moment. “No, it’s not.”
He stares.
Pink hair falls over the dark eyes that hold his own, but Legend doesn’t blink or push it away. “Look, Wild, far be it from me to say what normal is, but believe it or not, sometimes people want contact.”
“Even you?” He challenges, disbelieving because Legend doesn’t tend to seek out contact from most of them.
The flush on freckled cheeks is a betrayal, even if the words of the other hero are something else entirely. “Ravio and I had to talk about this. He needs contact sometimes, it’s okay to ask, just make sure you respect boundaries and stuff.” Legend shrugs, ears flicking back, flushed crimson at the tips, “just make sure to ask.”
“So, if I want, I just have to ask?”
“And if I say no, you listen, but yeah.”
He blinks. “So, can I hold you?”
It sounds weird, but Legend just grumbles and huffs at him in answer, never complaining directly even as he pulls himself out of the corner of the couch, gathering book and afghan to move over to Wild’s side. He stops once he’s standing in front of the champion though, frowning, feet shifting in the briefest betrayal of nerves. “So... what am I doing?”
He frowns his answer, not quite sure. “Sit? I... I’m not sure. Just, be close?” It’s weird asking, but at the same time, the concept feels familiar for some reason, despite he and Flora having never done this. No one has done this before, as far as he recalls, although Tulin does tend to huddle up in his space in a way that’s almost what he’s wanting. It’s not the same though.
The vet’s face twists, but he climbs up beside him, squirming and shaking out limbs as he tries to settle in, book and blanket both aiding and worsening his efforts.
Like an old habit, or muscle memory, like picking up a sword the first time out of the shrine, he pulls the blanket away, letting Legend settle before sweeping the crocheted fabric around the shoulder that’s not nearly pressed against his own.
Legend is just the slightest bit shorter than him, but curled up tight as he is, it’s a bit more than normal, especially with Wild sitting up straight beside him. Somehow that’s correct, by whatever strange criteria the foreign part of his memory has set. The dark eyes blinking up at him is also correct, somehow, the faint furrow between brows and the slightest scrunching of the nose in a question the vet doesn’t ask but which he reads all the same.
“You can keep reading if you want.”
Heavy lashes lower for a moment, raising as he’s fixed under another stare, and then shoulders are settling against the couch back with a huff and the vet’s book falls open again.
The book is correct too. He's not sure how that could be, considering despite the fact that he can understand the lettering it still seems totally foreign to him. The words make sense separately, but the way they combine, the meaning is somehow lost, even though Legend follows them slowly, finger following the lines at times and faint murmurs hissing soft on his breath as he goes, long ears twitching back towards Wild every moment or so.
He’s not sure why he settles his head atop of his brother's own, arms slipping down to wrap around the vet’s middle, but it feels right, and though the other starts a bit, he doesn’t cast him off, just sighs and goes back to reading.
The magic in the book is heavy, wild, strange and foreign in a way that the flickering shadows cast by the fire are not. The book is weighty, not just in the gnarled hands that hold it, but in the air around it and the very existence of the earth. Time and Malon sound distant, and the only noise is the wind outside, the cracking of the flames and the faint puffs of breath he can feel escaping with every swell and fall beneath his hands.
“Is it a magic book, Aryll?” He hears his own voice whisper, confused.
Her smile is full of starlight, wild and sparking with delight as she lifts her head, meeting his eyes from where she’s curled beside him. “Yes!”
“It doesn’t seem to make much sense,” he grouches to her, settling his chin amidst her hair and basking in the sunshine of her laughter.
“Maybe you’re just dumb, I can understand it just fine!”
“Really?” It’s disbelieving, his voice, but he knows there’s pride swelling in his chest as he says it.
“Yes.”
“Read it to me?”
Legend’s dark eyes aren’t the glittering blue of the girl whose voice echos in Wild’s head, but they hold stars, bright and sparking, not as bright, not as warm, but just as charged, heavy with the same weight as the book in his hands. There’s confusion in them for a moment, before the vet settles, saying nothing of the chin in his hair or the way Wild pulls him closer.
“If you insist.”
finally starting to replay Twilight Princess and I’ll be damned if any descendant of OoT Link would act remotely cool
I’ve always considered Navi to be the more pragmatic, mother-type figure and Tatl as like the cool babysitter.
Really, I just wanted an excuse to draw more young Link making faces.
Seriously guys, the more you think about this plan, the less sense it all makes. What WAS the endgame, Zelda?!! Why does every iteration of you seem to include underestimating Ganondorf or sending Link on half-baked plans??
Sorry for the quality, but I don’t think it was gonna get more finished than this.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The lighthearted story of two murderous little kids plotting to thwart the plans of a foreign dignitary…based on some pretty shaky evidence.
and then nothing bad ever happened. the end
Despite Danny's best efforts, no matter how much time past, Amity Park refused to see Phantom as a hero.
Sure, there were pockets of support, particularly among teens, but most of the town blames Phantom for the property damage, saying if he didn't fight the ghosts then it wouldn't be so bad, to that time he got mind controlled by Freakshow and "attacked" the mayor. It wears him down. It wears Tucker and Sam down. Jazz can only try to support them all.
Then one day, a member of the Justice League visits. Someone minor, and kinda a jerk... maybe a Wonder Twin? Zan? Whatever. They don't investigate; they don't look deeper. They listen to the town folks and declare the ghost hunters, Red Huntress and the Fentons, to be the official heroes of the town.
Worse? Danny Phantom is officially considered a villain to the Justice League. Tuck hacks into the Watchtower and confirms that they have a file (a heavily inaccurate file) about how to defeat Phantom.
Danny doesn't think he can do this anymore.
A few weeks later, a young villain escapes into Amity and demands (begs) that Danny help them escape from the hero after them. No idea who, I can't find a lot of info on teen villains in DC, so let's fudge some ages and make it Kyd Wyckyd from the Teen Titans cartoon. Danny agrees, because to hell with the Justice Losers, and they defeat the hero, becoming friends in the process. Kyd confesses that they became a villain after being ostracized bc of how they look, and they've been trying to avoid villain organizations because HIVE was abusive, but it's really hard to be a villain alone bc of all the heroes.
Sam gets an idea. Tucker agrees with the idea. Jazz is just happy they'll end up making friends.
The next day, the Teen Villain Alliance is formed, ready to assist with any teenage illegal shenanigans their allies might get into.
Some notes:
It's created to be a healthier option for teen "villains" to connect with others and support each other.
It's more important that this is for Teens rather than Villains. They're tired of adult villains taking advantage of them. The TVA would rather ally with a teen vigilante than with an adult villain.
Again, no idea who the teen villains are, but Klarion is definitely here. He leaves the Light for the chaos of the TVA. Maybe Ember is there too?
Timeline wise, this is around when Tim is still Robin, but Damien has arrived at Wayne Manor.
This is because, when it comes time to try to infiltrate the TVA, they'll have a convenient child-assassin who has none of the monitors of a teen hero that Phantom immediately picks up on.
Damien, who at this point has been abandoned by his mother, dismissed and scolded by his father, and has had no success at carving his own place in the family, jumps at the chance. He is then surrounded by peers who don't insult him or try to change his behavior (too much; jazz is trying to help him find healthier methods of expressing himself). He... might not want to continue being a spy.
Danny, Sam, Tuck, and Jazz are the founding members.
Danny reinvents himself as the High Prince of the Infinite, Prince Phantom Dark. He got kingship from fighting Pariah Dark, but since he's still alive, he's only a prince. He steals the last name Dark as an intimidation tatic against those in the know; only Danny would have the balls to claim family with Pariah.
Sam works as a powerless villain, but she might no be powerless? Either way, Danny gives her a bunch of repurposed Fenton tech, and she buys the rest with her parents credit card. She does NOT care if that's traced back to the Mansons. She would choose something goth, maybe something spider related or even bat?
I love Pharaoh Tucker, so I think he should get magic powers? Since pharaohs of old were considered the balance between the real and the divine. He's still a tech guy, now he's a tech and magic guy.
Jazz isn't really a villain, more of a team mom who's planning on using everyone's psyche's as her thesis paper. You know what, that's her callsign, she's Psyche. Sometimes she flirts with Nightwing.
Do u think gales autism would just make him immune to astarions manipulation tactics
Everyone thinks that dick was the golden child when in reality it was Jason.
Clark: Bruce who was your favourite robin?
Dick: obviously it’s me?
Tim: it’s dick
Damian: I am superior robin, it will be me.
Bruce: it’s Jason
Everyone: WHAT?!?!???
Bruce: why are you so surprised? He didn’t jump on too my chandeliers which I had to replace each week
*everyone looks at dick*
Bruce: he didn’t drop out of school
*everyone looks at tim*
Bruce: I didn’t have to stop him from killing everyone who annoyed him
*everyone looks at Damian*
Bruce: in fact, he enjoyed school and handed all his homework in on time, we would spend hours in the library reading his favourite classics. He even helped Alfred with most of the cooking, He was my little boy
Jason: stop spreading lies, I hate you go away
Bruce: my precious little boy
imagine with me Danny ends up in Gotham some how and is a mad scientist that is hired to make cool shit and gets BANK but then the bats crack down on the shit and they see a 13 year old boy with big ass goggles with machinery all around him and looks up for a second before glancing up again as if confirming what he saw and then slowly turns around “Hi…? I swear if these are one of my delusions than I will be complaining to HR- wait am I… HR?”
Danny ends up in Gotham after Nasty Burger happened, but to not become Dark Danny, he buried himself in machine work, using some blueprints from his parents' lab as a baseline and then eventually creating his own.
Some guy in Gotham found him one day and decided that he had a talent for making stuff like this, and that he'll pay Danny handsomely if he made some things for him, and, well. Danny was pretty low on money from his parents' bank account after blowing most of it on machine parts.
So he accepted.
Then the guy started requesting some other things for some other people and he eventually became his middleman for the big hitters in Gotham who wanted his stuff. Well, not that he knew his stuff was being given out to the big hitters that also include villains, since he spent most of his time just building, then eating, then passing right the fuck out, and repeat.
Then the bats crack down on him, and Danny's been making some shit for more than 24 hours already with no rest time and just a little snack here and there, and then he questions if he accidently inhaled something he wasn't supposed to because the bats are literally in his workshop/house.
So he thinks he maybe high as shit right now and then just treats them like they weren't there and goes back to making his thing because that one guy said a person with a fuck ton of money wanted it. Then Batman pulls him away from the machine and he's like: "Huh."
Still thinking this is a massive hallucination because he's high as a kite, he tries to get Batman to let go, but his grip is pretty strong, then he pokes him and then goes: "Oh, maybe this isn't a hallucination."
"Oh sugar honey iced tea."
Rich pregnant socialite: So we went to this clinic and let them manipulate our genes so we're 100% sure our child won't have any disease, he will have my hair and his father eyes and so much things we did for him! And you Bruce ?
Brucie: Found em in the trash. Except Tim, he found me in the trash.
🫡
Imagine the batkids fuck up major and a batdad had to step in and clean up their mistake
Everyone kinda embarrassed because of their blunder and Jason is lashing out to protect himself from shame
Dick is joining is cause well he feels bad about it being his idea
Now Tim is arguing too
Damian wants to feel involved and u can’t convince me other wise
Bruce is trying ti make a point about safety thats just fully derailed
Anyway Danny as Fenton is just there in the background around all the bad guys he took out before Bruce actually got there like “awkward” but the moment he tries to just tippytoe his way out Bruce turns to point at him “and don’t think you are getting out of this. Your grounded too”
He just freezes. Can batman do that? Is he legally allowed to do that? Wait what does Batman mean by grounded?!!? Whats his move here.
“Everyone in the batmobile we will discuss this more in the morning”
Oh ok thats his move. Ok yea Batman just grounded him. He better go.
So they r having the ride home and everyone is sulking and Danny is just there confused but doesn’t say anything because hes probably tired and it’s batman wtf you gonna do.
So they are at the cave and Danny finally just “so can I call my family to tell them I wont be home tonight?”
You everyone just stops. And slowly turns to face him. “Ah yea dumb question. I guess uhhh no phones huh?” No one moves. Everyone is pretty shocked. Cause one bruce kidnapped some kid. Two theres a civi in the batcave. Three bruce kidnapped some fucking kid. Four some random kid just got in the car with them. Five holy fuck bruce kidnapped some kid.
Breaks over enjoy post

Smoke and ash and a burning, smoldering oil, like the scent of a gas lantern fills his nostrils. Mixed in is cold, dead coals and ice and the sharp needles of pine. A moonless night in a glade should be comforting, should be familiar, but it overwhelms him, fills him through and nearly guts him in its intensity, in its animosity.
Midna laughs under his feet, where his shadow moves without his consent. “Still scared of me, farmer boy?” she hisses in his mind.
“No,” he says out loud, because it doesn’t matter if he is. Because he can’t act like it because his shadow exists under all his clothes, because her needle-like teeth could sink into him and rip his throat out before he realizes--
“Good.” Another cackle follows the statement, ghostly fingers smoothing over his neck and leaving burned, crumbling flesh in their wake. “You Hylians never know who you should actually be scared of.”
It’s a long time before he understands her words. It’s a long time before the ice-cold crackle of burning coals under his feet and the dripping weight of oil riding his back become familiar, welcome sensations. Before losing them feels like some part of his soul has been wrenched away and thrown into the ink-black sea that bore his friend.
It’s a long time before he stops expecting to feel the whisper she left behind.
It’s a long time before he feels something like it again.
The kid washes over him almost without warning. And at first, he jerks away, no longer used to the sensation of a fog rolling through and choking out his breath, of how the light of dusk is too little to see in but enough that you think you can, of dusty fingers leaving dirt in their wake and sharp teeth at his neck--
Everyone else tends to skitter away from Wild’s very being, and he doesn’t. Instead, he grabs the kid’s hand and imprints the memory of rotten bark and rain on dead leaves into his palm, into his being.
“Ain’t it funny,” he asks with a wink, “how Hylians ne’er know who ta be afraid of?”
Whispers and words churn behind him, the others wondering what he could mean, and he ignores them. Because the kid’s too-blue eyes flicker over his form before a grin breaks over his face like a piece of pottery cracking open, and the hand he holds grips him back like he’s the shadow Wild’s been looking for, too.

[guide] for Wild and Hyrule
[ GUIDE ]: as they go in for a hug, the sender gently rests a hand and guides the receiver’s head to rest against their shoulder/chest.
Hyrule isn’t very good at hugs. He never knows what to do with his arms, or his head. How long is too long? When should he step back? What if he squeezes too hard?
Sky is great at hugs and more than happy to pull someone in. The traveler tries to take direction from him but hugs still remain…stilted. Awkward. It’s easier to avoid them outright rather than mess them up.
Which makes Wild’s apparent mission of pulling Hyrule into hugs–difficult. He likes the champion and is delighted to spend time with him. But every hug is another reminder that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. There were too few people in his era to practice hugs.
“Hey Hyrule!” Wilds scoops him into a hug as he comes up and Hyrule panics on where to put his hands and whether to squeeze back. He ends up going for pats on the back which aren’t right, but at least a safe choice.
Wild lets him go and steps back with a frown. “I never asked, do hugs bother you?”
“No! No, sorry, I just…” Hyrule’s cheeks blaze, but he needs to admit this. “I don’t know what to do so…sorry. Sorry.”
Rather than be upset, Wild brightens. “Hey, no apologies. I didn’t know how to give hugs when I woke up, did you know that?” He taps his head. “No memory means no hugs.”
“What did you do?”
“Sidon taught me! And then Riju untaught me his habits.”
Having met the large red Zora, Hyrule can only imagine what that might have looked like.
“Anyway,” the champion continues, “I can help! Come here.”
Hyrule steps forward again and Wild pulls him closer. “Wrap your arms around my back–below my arms. Otherwise you’ll end up on my neck. There you go. Nice firm pressure across your forearms!”
This is silly; he’s staring at Wild’s tunic even as his arms keep contact. Why doesn’t he know how to hug?
“Good, now, here.” Wild gently pushes on the traveler’s head, guiding it to lean on his shoulder. Then his arm goes back to wrapping around Hyrule’s back. “Okay?”
“...yeah.” This is–nice, actually. To be close to someone else. He can hear Wild’s heart beating.
Wild hums and it vibrates through his chest. “Don’t worry, hugging just takes practice. We have all the time in the world.”
I’ve seen Danny being the ancient of space pop up a few times. A lot of it interprets that as the ancient of outer space, but I propose he has dominion pver the concept of physical space. Clockwork has time, Danny would have space, making them the counterparts for each other
So, imagine if you will, Danny only recently coming into his spatial powers retreating to his lair in the Ghost Zone. It’s too dangerous to have uncontrolled spatial distortions just randomly appearing in the human world.
His lair is an extension of himself. His spatial powers extend not just to himself, but to his lair. It connects to liminal spaces. Walking through school hallways after hours? One of those doors leads to his lair. All night diner with flickering florescent lights and you’re the only customer? Carefull going to the bathroom or you might just end up somewhere else. Closed down building, or even buildings that never were there. Sometimes at just the right time, places just exsist, and they all lead to Danny’s lair. Inside is an MC Escher esque labyrinth of rooms, hallways, tunnels, ever shifting as their connections to the human world alter and shift.
Enter the Batfam
I pick Tim for this. He sees a building he’s never seen before on a street he’s very familiar with. He checks the address.
“Hey Oracle? Is there a 147 Becker street?”
“No, Becker street stops at 144 before merging into Roosevelt.”
“That’s what I thought, but I’m there, I see it right in front of me.”
“What?”
Tim is too curious for his own good, and probably a bit sleep deprived. He enters the building only to get turned around and not be able to find where he came in from. It wouldn’t be so concerning if the building didn’t seem to go on and on.
Next thing we know, Danny finds Red Robin wandering around, completely lost in his lair. The tricky part is getting him out around the right area and time, because space and time are connected, and when one is weird, so is the other. They need to take the scenic route, much to the impatience of Red Robin. He eventually gets him close enough: Bloodhaven. Tim can always get a ride back from Dick, then he looks at his watch.
It’s only been 30 minutes. He had been wandering for hours, yet only 30 minutes had passed.
Que confusion and shenanigans when somehow, yet more Bats wander into Danny’s lair
Because Danny is half dead, he has some serious doom and gloom vibes without trying.
He smiles and wishes you a good day? Holy shit this kid just said this is my last day holy fuck.
Give you hot chocolate? Is this kid implying that this is the last warmth I'll ever feel?
It boils down to this; Danny had Hitman Vibes.
This is both hilarious and concerning, especially when people try to contract him to perform assassinations. He has gotten so many people arrested with that shit.
Jason*tells to a new friend how he wants to kill the Joker*.
Danny*takes a sip then gives him the thermos*: Chill, dude. Just eat him.
Jason:..What have you got in your thermos, Danny?
Danny: Do not ask the question if you already know the answer. But it’s something with an ecto signature.
Jason:
Danny: Don’t be shy. I already had breakfast today.
~~~~
Batman: Suspiciously, no sign of the Joker.
Batman: What are you drinking, Hood?
Red Hood: Em..Soda?
Batman: Which flavor is it?
Red Hood *who can’t keep his mouth shut*: Sweet revenge.
Y'know lil bby mans aus? What if, hear me out-
Danny gets kidnapped by the joker
The joker is doing this Live on TV, to gwt The attention of Batman.
He is doing his villain monologue
" -you know? It so crazy that-"
" Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room, a Rubber room, a Rubber room with rats. Rats? Rats make me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room, a Rubber room, a Rubber room with rats. Rats? Rats make me crazy. Crazy?-"
When the Batfam arrives the Joker is crying on the floor while in the fetal position, Danny is still going at it, and he is not stopping any time soon
I just found out that the Spanish batfam community calls damian "bolita de ódio" which translates to tiny ball of hatred and I think that's beautiful
just found out i've been abandoned by god which means he's not watching anything i do anymore. you should come over.
I... Cannot stop
