Ok, if they ever made Varric a romance option in Dragon Age Inquisition, I'd probably dump Cullen (for one game) to bang Varric.

They better not. I would NEVER recover...
I’ve been playing Dragon Age Inquisition again after finishing Veilguard and oh boy, I wasn’t expecting to cry over silly party banter. There are so many little moments like these. ;-;
Post-prologue scene. Varric was supposed to be in Harding's room.
Harding: It wasn't supposed to go this way. What do we do now? What do we do? Varric: One thing at a time, Harding. Harding: (Sighs) Varric: I let you down. I'm sorry. Varric: Talk to her. She could use a friend.
If they do make us choose I am choosing varric every single time I love that man with every molecule in my body
"An hour also isn’t a lot of time to get a handle on a game’s story but that’s the area that leaves me the most confident about Veilguard. There’s intrigue to the game’s tale already, with Varric hoping he can convince Solas to stop his plan of tearing open the Veil: a wish by the dwarf to save a dear friend. There’s a fascinating relationship that's already being set up, Varric and Solas as opposing narrative forces, with your character, Rook, pulled between them."
this is from an article from inverse.
i'm starting to buy into the theory that both varric and solas are trapped in the fade (two elven gods escaped, trapping the two in their place?) and since rook now has a special connection to the fade, maybe he can hear both of them and even visit them in dreams.
i wonder if the game really is going to make us choose between them. either forcing us to choose who to save from the fade, or who's ideology we ultimately align with.
Wanna see him again...😃
