I get this so fucking much like what does the word mean I'm nearly the age neil nearly got killed at like I don't wanna turn 19 no thanks I don't wanna be the same age as jean

I've been having an existential crisis lately. Because I realised I first read aftg when I was 14 and now I'm Neil's age in the series. What the fuck, what do you mean I will be older than them?
