Feel like I should mention that if people don't leave kudos on my works I assume they don't like it
the reason why I sometimes choose to be a guest cause after some time, I can go back a leave even more kudos cause they deserve it
the :) AO3 gives you after telling you you’ve already left kudos on a particular fic is my archenemy because what do you mean :) ? what do you mean I’ve already left kudos here? have you read my favorite author’s work? look me in the eyes and tell me one kudos is enough. I’d give them a thousand kudos and my kidney plus my firstborn. what do you mean I can only give them one kudos??????

i have used ao3 for a long time but just recently made an acc cause im dumb and since beign on tumblr (im very new here like very) i've read about how important it is for authors to recieve comments so im trying to comment more and each time an author responds to me im giggling and kicking my feet in the air like a 12yo girl
Are you frustrated you can't leave second kudos on AO3? or third kudos? or whatever-who's-counting kudos?

i don’t understand people who read a fic, love it, and then don’t kudos it. because when i read something, clicking kudos is kind of just. part of the reading process. i don’t even have to like the fic all that much. as long as i didn’t hate it it’s getting a kudos.
because someone out there wrote that. someone out there is refreshing their email, waiting to see if anyone has read their work. if anyone thought it was beautiful, compelling, funny, thought-provoking. someone out there is waiting. and i click kudos so they don’t have to wait anymore.

Like it's actually my concerned friend and not something that plagues my mind. That I can only contribute 1 measly kudos to the fic I've just read.

When all our singular kudos come together. It resembles a fraction of what we as individuals are trying to tell the author(s).

To all the authors out there on AO3:
If I leave a comment and not a kudos, it was an accident. I get so excited to leave a comment that I forget to kudos. It has happened a few times, and it will almost certainly happen again.

Searching for the "kudos" everytime my favourite local couple does something cute, forgetting this is real life and not a fanfic
Imagine you're opening AO3 and search for a fic. Imagine you're finding one that fits all your criterias. Imagine it has the perfect length. Imagine getting lost in the story and feeling almost high when it's over. Imagine looking up the author and they have written. so. many. more. fics. exactly. like. that. Imagine.
This hurts me every time this appears
