im cooking something for my beloved andreil
WELL, I wrote this a while ago (I'll write more about bkdk/dkbk at some point)
An afternoon in the everyday life of Katsuki and Izuku.
Seeing this cute and tear-jerking fanart, made me miss The Way You Used To Do! I also miss the interactions between, Katsuki and Izuku in the current manga very very much, because of it!!! 😭🤧🥺💔🧡💚
i’m finally reading the Way You Used To Do fic. and wanted to make a mini comic inspired by one of the sections in the fic…also i don’t know Japanese sign language i used references from a silent voice manga to try and help me out. so if this is all wrong sorry.
istg I’m going CRAZY over this
I could’ve sworn left right up down and on my mother’s life that there was a fic somewhere on ao3 where Hawks was sold to Endeavor to be a baby maker and then he and Touya fell in love in the meantime and like the Todoroki siblings (minus Touya) HATEEED his ass
I’m writing something kinda similar for fun but I have been searching for thag original fic to see if it’s been updated and credit the creator for the inspo for DAYS and I cannot find a TRACE of it. I’ve used both arranged marriage tags and looked through every single one. I’ve specified that it had both DabiHawks and EndHawks. Then I unspecified it and specified that Dabi was a civilian in the fic.
PLEASE if ANYONE has any idea where this fic is HELP ME. I’m going absolutely insane here and I need to at least know it wasn’t some funky ass fever dream. If it was taken down for some reason (if it was then WHAT THE FREAK MAN I WAS ENJOYING THAT FIC???? Like you owe me nothing and have full agency over what fics you keep up but I just want you to know that I’m dying inside just a little) just please. Please tell me you’ve seen it. Tell me you know what I’m talking about. PLEASE.
And maybe he wasn’t ethically inclined to let those UA kids in the way of danger, but there were only maybe 20 kids in that class and they were already in their teens. They had teachers to protect them and a couple months of training under their belts. If he disobeyed the Commission, it would be hundreds of little kids–10 and under type little–getting hurt, with nobody there to defend them. Nobody on their side but themselves.
He was the only person who could prevent that.
They’ll find a way out for you too, someday.
…It was a nice thought. To think that he did enough good in his prefecture that the people he protected would protect him in turn. He knew it was a silly thought, a stupid thought… but it was still a nice one.
That didn’t mean he dared to hope.
Currently just starting the editing process of this chapter. Uh, go find the fic on ao3. Some tags to help you find it are the dabi/hawks tag, Canon Rewrite, It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better, and Slow Burn or Eventual Romance. Beware that it'll have some dark topics in the future so mind the warnings and any future tags added.
I think I’m in hell because I’ve reached yet another dilemma concerning a GIANT DabiHawks fanfic I’m writing when I haven’t even finished figuring out the last one.
See, I have a whole AU where Hawks made a friend during Commission training who became like a pseudo older sister to him who died essentially saving his life and the temptation to add that headcanon to this sort of fix-it AU I’m writing is so tempting like I am metaphorically SALIVATING over the idea. But then I’d have to make a bunch of new decisions that would heavily impact ones I’m already struggling with… grrrrr
It’s frustrating. I’m frustrated. Why can’t writing be easy for once? Smh
I posted a new fic!

Without ao3, I can feel the life seeping out of me. Every passing minute the life force drains from my body, turning me into a sickly grey. My eyes are drooping and I can feel my organs start to fail. I can already see the light, shining so brightly above me. I am only hanging on by the transfusion of fanfiction.net. However, that is not my only woe. I can feel old fandoms creeping up behind me, ready to drag me back into their grasp. Danganronpa got me a week ago, yttd a few days before. Is this the end? Has life come full circle? What will historians think a hundred years from now? What will this crisis be called? The Fall of Creativity? Fanfiction Fodder? The Great Suppression? As a collectivity everyone has united in this detrimental time. We must stick together, offer up other sources to consume media created by talented, life providing authors.
How I use fanfiction.net:
Step one: search fanfiction.net
Step two: type the name of the character you want to read about
Step three: hit search; you will get a differentiating amount of results; use the box labeled narrow results to make your search more specific. It does not filter out ships, characters, and other stuff. However, it can give you fics based on what you choose, such as language, genre, etc..
This can help you @castielssuperhell
I’ve been without ao3 for too long that I’ve resorted to using fanfiction.net again.
this has to be my favorite set of tags ever
Summary : Aoyama has always had nightmares, but at his time at the hospital after being revealed as being forced to be a traitor and becoming close with Aizawa he decides that maybe he doesn’t need to do everything alone.
Maybe he can trust Aizawa with every part of him, even the ugly parts that were covered in fear and terror.
GUESS WHO FINISHED WRITING A FUCKING ALMOST 5K FIC??? ME BAEY!!! I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS <33
I LOVE THIS SHIP SM AND I HOPE I PLEASED THE MAYBE 2 OTHER PEOPLE WHO LIKE THIS SHIP TOO !!!
"wow that fic was so good I wonder when the outhor gonna upd.."
*last update 2022*
I NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF THESE
Have you ever read a fic Soo good you start hating the canon character.... I need to calm down lmao
AO3 is still down and now you actually have to read the books you buy 😔
Reasons people may decline to comment or kudos on fanfiction they enjoyed:
They consider comments and kudos transactional compensation to the author, and they don't feel that the work was good enough to deserve compensation, or they don't believe they owe compensation to fan authors in general.
They consider comments and kudos as feedback, and they don't feel that the author wants or needs feedback from them.
However, comments and kudos aren't compensation, and they aren't even necessarily feedback either.
Comments and kudos for fan authors are:
encouragement to keep writing
reciprocation of a bid for connection
interaction with your community
confirmation that they're not the only one interested in their story
Please don't consider comments, or especially kudos, purely transactional or purely a form of feedback. Comments and kudos are a way to show authors in your community that you're glad they're there.
Authors aren't "entitled" to kudos or comments, but readers aren't "entitled" to fic, either.
Fanfiction is a community, and when an author repeatedly reaches out to their community for connection only to receive silence in return it is very discouraging and can result in the author withdrawing from the community altogether.
On my way to read chapter 1 ehheheheheheh 😈
(btw, such an amazing job you do! I've been reading your fics since I found Feather Bound (≧▽≦) )
With Love, Mr. President just got a new chapter!!
A current WIP on my Ao3. Follow Keigo on a postwar journey as he navigates his new job and a secretary that just loves to give him shit.
Smut and angst galore 🤭❤️

An astute reader informed me this morning that one of my fics (Children of the Future Age) had been pirated and was being sold as a novel on Amazon:
(And they weren't even creative with their cover design. If you're going to pirate something that I spent a full year of my life writing, at least give me a pretty screenshot to brag about later. Seriously.)
I promptly filed a DMCA complaint to have it removed, but I checked out the company that put it up -- Plush Books -- and it looks like A LOT of their books are pirated fic. They are by no means the only ones doing this, either -- the fact that """publishers""" can download stories from AO3 in ebook format and then reupload them to Amazon in just a few clicks makes fic piracy a common problem. There are a whole host of reasons why letting this continue is bad -- including actual legal risk to fanfiction archives -- but basically:
You can search for your fics by title, or by text from the description (which is often just copied wholesale from AO3 as well). If you find that someone has stolen your work and is selling it as their own, you can lodge a DMCA complaint (Amazon.com/USA site; other countries have different systems). If you haven't done this before, it's easy! Here's a tutorial:
First, go to this form. You'll need to be signed into your Amazon account.
Select the radio buttons/dropdown options (shown below) to indicate that you are the legal Rights Owner, you have a copyright concern, and it is about a pirated product.
Enter the name of your story in the Name of Brand field.
In the Link to the Copyrighted Work box, enter a link to the story on AO3 or whatever site your work is posted on.
In the Additional Information box, explain that you are the author of the work and it is being sold without your permission. That's all you really need. If you want, you can include additional information that might be helpful in establishing the validity of your claim, but you don't have to go into great detail. You can simply write something like this:
I am the author of this work, which is being sold by [publisher] without my permission. I originally published this story in [date/year] on [name of site], and have provided a link to the original above. On request, I can provide documentation proving that I am the owner of the account that originally posted this story.
In the ASIN/ISBN-10 field, copy and paste the ID number from the pirated copy's URL. You'll find this ten-digit number in the Amazon URL after the word "product," as in the screenshot below. (If the URL extends beyond this number, you can ignore everything from the question mark on.) Once this number has been added, Amazon will pull the product information automatically and add it to the complaint form, so you can check the listing title and make sure it's correct.
Finally, add your contact information to the relevant fields, check the "I have read and accept the statements" box, and then click Submit. You should receive an email confirmation that Amazon has received the form.
Please share this information with your writer friends, keep an eye out for/report pirated works, and help us keep fanfiction free and legally protected!
NOTE: All of the above also applies to Amazon products featuring stolen artwork, etc., so fan artists should check too!
Yeah I agree, if you don't like/agree with something, you don't have to look at it, nobody is forcing you to.
How to handle seeing things you don't like on ao3:
Have you come across something too disturbing for you to handle on ao3? Like maybe somebody having sex in a position that isnt missionary? 😱 shocking, I know. Did someone maybe engage in mild bdsm? The absolute horror! Did two aged up characters do more than a kiss on the cheek??? The utter depravity. Well do I have a solution for you! It's an easy two step process. Step one is to find the back button. If you find yourself in a mildly uncomfortable position while reading a fanfic, you have the power to stop ❌ press the back button 🔙 and find a new fic that doesnt have such scary concepts 🔞. If you arent sure how to find it, here's what the back button looks like on my mobile browser:
It may be difficult for you to find, but I believe in you!
Step 2 is a little harder because I know you're nosy and think you know what's best for every person on the planet. But I still believe in you! You can do it! You can learn to mind your own damn business and walk away! If you see something you don't like, it's literally not your problem. Let me give you a personal example: there are people out there who still like the show breaking bad, which I found completely unwatchable. But you know what? It's none of my damn business, it's literally not my problem! I have learned that not every piece if media is made for every person, and that's not only ok, but a good thing! You too can learn to mind your own damn business and move on with your life. I promise it's not as hard as it sounds
