Caitlin hates the inaction inherent in being an enforcer. She hates the red tape, the way her every move feels sluggish and predictable and entirely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The feelings are made all the worse by the way she watches Jayce, a man she’s know near her whole life, turn Piltover upside down with only his mind.
The whole thing leads to her hanging around Zaun perhaps a little too much.
Everytime she goes she tries to justify herself by saying it’s for work. Tells herself that she’s only hanging around the dodgiest areas she can find to make herself a better and more knowledgeable enforcer.
It’s at least partly true. She’s been beginning to put together a picture of the lanes, artwork drenched in greens and purples with the name Silco at its centre.
She uses that knowledge to bury the fact that she’s been going to Zaun just because at least when you have to spend every other moment looking over your shoulder you can’t be as utterly bored as Caitlin is in Piltover.
On one of her trips she finds a hideout. It seems abandoned but neon paint still makes the walls glow odd colours and there are still power lines connected to the place. She follows one of the cables and finds it disconnected from whatever machine it used to be used to run. Purely out of curiosity she picks up the cable and screws it back into the connector.
Targets painted the same neon as the designs on the walls spring to life and start moving around.

A smile playing at her lips, she vaults over the counter to take a stance a reasonable distance from the targets before cocking her gun. She readies herself, taking a breath before she begins.
Bang.
Bang.
Bang.
Bang.
Her every shot hits exactly where it’s meant to. Once she runs out of ammo Caitlin lets herself bask in the satisfaction for a moment and allows the smile to fully take hold of her face.
“Not bad. For a topsider I guess.”
Caitlin whips around, aiming her gun before processing the fact that it’s out of ammo. She adjusts her grip slightly so that even if she can’t shoot it she can still swing it into someone’s face with enough force to knock them out. From the shadows slides a girl. Younger than Caitlin, probably still a child. Blue hair in plaits that drag along the floor as she bends her head to look at Caitlin enquiringly.
“Thank you,” Caitlin says, her tone not hiding the fact that she doesn’t particularly want to be thanking this random girl who’s been spying on her.
The girl seems to catch it.
“You don’t sound very thankful” she huffs.
“I’m not.”
“Then why say it?”
“So you go away faster.”
The girl pauses. Looks at Caitlin a little like she thinks Caitlin is stupid and she bristles with irritation. “That didn’t work very well for you, did it?”
“I suppose not.” Caitlin manages through gritted teeth.
The girl jerks slightly, as if some revalation has just come to her. It makes her look at Caitlin with significantly more interest.
“You should try and shoot me.”
What the fuck?
“No one’s ever shot me before, and some people have tried really hard, but I bet that you could take a decent stab at it.”
“I-“, Caitlin is sure the confusion must be showing on her face but she’s too caught off guard to bother hiding it. “No?”
The girl looks like a kicked puppy. “Please?”
“No,” Caitlin repeats, more firmly.
“Darn, guess I’ll have to find some way to persuade you.”
As soon as the girl finishes speaking she disappears back into the shadows as quickly as she emerged.
Caitlin huffs. She isn’t looking forwards to being persuaded.
I can’t stop thinking about it ekko took jinx with him after the bridge explosion and like healed her himself like I wanna try figure out if she’d like change sides or still be with silco but less murderous if that makes sense. Idk but if anyone has anything please tell me.

I feel like I have problems with her proportions, but I don't know what exactly. I think it's just cause her design is more realistic than the others I made stickers of so I'm not as used to it. I'll have to see it printed out to decide whether or not there's a problem.

This is the last of the first batch of ten sticker designs. It was after this (when I was going to place the order) that I realised I only needed one 💀 (er- 2 because I had 2x the deal). My personal favourite was the Hellboy Angel of Death, so I put in that one. Alien Xenomorphs won the popular vote amongst friends, so that was the one used for the second order.

Day 5. Legacy
Justice for mylo!! They could never make me hate you.
I find Jinx's relationship with Sevika to be fascinating given her relationship with Mylo. Mylo was Jinx's older brother and all he ever did was shit on her at every possible chance. He made her feel like shit all of the time. He blamed her for every single major and minor inconvenience. It was so bad that she still hears his taunts in her head years after he's died.
Now compare Mylo's treatment to Sevika's. It's pretty identical. Sevika is constantly bringing down Jinx and shitting on her. She sees Jinx as below her and she resents her because despite her flaws, she is favored above Sevika by Silco. This mirrors how despite the fact that Jinx always fucked things up as a kid, Vi always viewed her as faultless and instead took it out on her other siblings. Mylo and Sevika both have to do double the work just to stay in Vi/Silco's good graces because of Jinx, and no matter how much effort they put in they'll never be desired in the way Jinx is. Both Mylo and Sevika make sure to complain extensively about Jinx while in private and front of Vi/Silco. Sevika personally gets joy out of shit talking Jinx directly to her face.
But this is what makes their relationship so interesting. Because while we see Jinx was deeply bothered by Mylo's shit talking as a child, she isn't even slightly phased by Sevika's shit talking. She straight up doesn't care and doesn't take a single thing Sevika says to heart. She knows Sevika is just shitting on her for the sake of shitting on her. She knows Sevika is full of shit. I think that's really compelling and I also believe it speaks to how much Jinx's confidence and self image has grown in the few years it's been.
This is so facts, and this kinfa touches on why i dont totally love the addition og isha. I should, right, bc omg cute kid, but she feels like too much of a plot device to supposedly “fix” jinx. The way Vander usually fails to acknowledge Mylo and Clag kinda sucks. Ik its bc we judt didnt get to see em much in canon and it surely happened, just off screen, but its sad.
I feel like I need to talk about this scene. It bothers me not just for personal reasons but for plot reasons as well. I briefly touched on why I despise it so much but I'll elaborate properly, hopefully without being too repetitive.
The girls both quote Mylo that Vander is "their dad too", and yet mention of the boys is completely absent. But it has to be absent, or we might have to be reminded of the entire reason the girls' brothers are dead to begin with: Jinx and Silco both. Because Jinx accidentally killed them, because Silco abducted their dad. And let's be real, Vi and Jinx never had a single meaningful conversation about anything in s2. Everything they went through, all the changes they made, all the people they lost, amounting to a Disneyfied reunion with their werewolf dad. Add the extra layer of irritation of adding Isha, as if she belongs there, as if she's some sort of cheap replacement for the brothers they lost.
Maybe it also speaks to why Jinx doesn't come off as even half as unwell as she was in s1; her hallucinations were Mylo-heavy and they might have to be brought up if she was still having chronic episodes. But no, her replacement family of a small child basically heals her.
I personally feel the complete omission of Mylo and Claggor is disgraceful and downright lazy (but that's s2 in a nutshell). They were Vi and Jinx's brothers, Vander's sons. The loss of them is basically irrelevant in this entire season outside of ep7, where not even Ekko shares a single word with either of the boys, who only get three lines each, who only talk at him. It's like saying "hey look they're alive here, how nice" before pushing them to the side again to make more room for timebomb.
Yes I'm biased because Mylo and Claggor are everything to me, but it's still very much a flaw in the writing not to even mention their names whatsoever. It's not as if their being mentioned would derail the story - it could be sprinkled in when/where necessary, to be touched on. Their presences were still felt throughout s1 long after their deaths but they're irrelevant easter eggs in s2. But seeing as how their were basically two whole writers left in the room for s2, it's not all that surprising either.
Broken record that I am: Mylo and Claggor deserved better.
