Two versions of a cover for my novel "Adagio". The first is the most recent version. The second is the older one.
Which one do you like best?
La Fermette Marbeuf is a renowned restaurant in Paris’ 8th district. Its Art Nouveau decor is listed as an historical monument, in particular its magnificent glass roof designed in 1898 by Hubert and Martineau. The latter crowns a romantic decor in springtime colours, adorned with mural paintings and a reproduction Botticelli.

This was a class assignment where I had to design a promotional poster for a Tea in the style of Art Nouveau :p
Chuck Sperry is an American poster artist who is best known for his rock posters and political artworks. His art style is influenced by the psychedelic rock art of the 60’s-70’s and art nouveau. (Artist’s website)
The naked witch
Ex libris for a couple, who wanted to have the EU flag and something related to witchcraft combined in a stamp. I used two orientations in order to combine these motifs with the personal nature of the ex libris. When the stamp is in landscape direction, you can see the stars of the EU flag in their proper position, and Gelly’s name is legible. When you see the witch riding a goat, you can see Perbellini’s name on the top, in this state the circle of stars acts as a witchcraft motif. I really enjoyed to work on this, because I could design in a relative big size (50×66.6mm), therefore I was able play with details (eg.: there are three fogs in the swamp, representing the coat of arms of the devil) and style as well.
A meztelen boszorkány
Ezen az ex libris pecséten az EU zászló és valamilyen boszorkánysággal kapcsolatos témát kellett kombinálnom egy párnak. A különböző motívumokat különböző irányokba rendeztem el. Amikor a pecsét fekszik az EU zászló csillagai és a hozzá kapcsolódó Gelly név kerülnek jó állásba, amikor a boszorkányt látjuk álló pozícióban Perbellini neve olvasható normál nézetben. Nagyon jó volt ezen dolgozni, a relatív nagy mérete (50×66,6mm), a stílus amiben rajzolhattam és a részletek (pl.: a mocsárban ott van három béka, ami sátán címerét jelképzi) miatt.
Ex libris Halácsi
Ez az ex libris Halácsi Kati apukájának a születésnapjára készült, aki építőmérnök és egy igazi ezermester. A képen éppen az asztalánál látható, ahogy éppen nagyban tervez valamit. A betűket a szabványírásból rajzoltam át, hogy illeszkedjenek az ex libris stílusához.
Ex libris Halácsi
This ex libris was made for a civil engineer who keep animals and has thousand things to do. You can find him working at his table, on his next project. For the type I chose the standard blueprint letterform, which I slighty redesigned to match the style of the ex libris.
Szeptember elején sorsot húztunk a csoportban, hogy ki kinek tervezzen pecsétet szecessziós stílusban, bevontuk a tanáraink is és én Orosz Istvánt (akit még úgy is ismernek, hogy Utisz) kaptam meg. Ez a neki készült „szecessziós” ex libris pecsétem. A tartó fából készült filc béléssel. Nekem Csepella barátom tervezett nagyon szépet, a többieké (a másodéveseké is) megtekinthető itt.

Gödöllő szecessziós évének néhány arculati eleme.
Identity for the year of art nouveau in Gödöllő.
2013-ban ünneplik Gödöllőn a szecessziós művésztelep alapítójának Körösfőinek a 150. születésnapját. Ebből az alkalomból az volt a feladatunk, hogy készítsünk egy plakátot ami valahogy kapcsolódik a szecesszióhoz vagy Gödöllőhöz, természetesen szecessziós stílusban. A plakáton szereplő madár a gödöllői címerből került ide. A gombákért köszönet Ivan Bilibinnek.
In 2013 Gödöllő celebrates the 150. anniversary of Körösfői, the founder of the art nouveau artist colony in there. In that occasion our task was to make a poster that is connected to the art nouveau movement or Gödöllő somehow, naturally in art nouveau style. The bird is from the coat of arms of Gödöllő.
