Come back. Come back to me. Atonement (2007) dir. Joe Wright
I’m watching atonement for the first time… I’ve already cried twice.
Of lost chances, forbidden love and remorse.
It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

In the series Chloe is granted the Bee Miraculous and allowed to become a hero for a few episodes. She does a few good deeds and she seems to be on the road to redemption. But to me there is just one problem...
She never atones for anything she did. She does a few good deeds and we are supposed to believe that all is forgiven and that she is redeemed. That is not how it should work. While she did good things it does not erase the hurt she inflicted.
In fanon when Chloe is trying to be better one of the thing she does is apologize to Marinette (the girl who has been her biggest target) and works hard to prove herself a different person. She defends her from Lila onslaughts and supports her in her business as MDC. She is less brash and dismissive of her classmates' feelings but still maintains her sassy wit but it's on a nice level.
Also she is willing to swallow her pride and attempt to make amends with certain classmates in and outside of class and can accept that they won't forgive her. Some fanworks even go as far as to give Chloe therapy in order to help her pinpoint her problems and deal with them properly.
Through these efforts Chloe slowly but surely works towards redemption allowing her to become a better person. But instead of the series "trying" to do that all it did was tease us with false hope.
At first I wanted to not like Zoe as I felt and I still feel like her only reason for being created was to be a better version of her sister. But it occurred to me she was in just a bad situation as Chloe only difference is how they are responded to in universe and they are depicted to the audience.
Chloe is the daughter who's Dad who instead of giving her the attention and love that she needed would buy her gifts to compensate her when he was to busy. She is the daughter who no matter how she acted, no matter how hard she tried she could never measure up to her mother's expectations.
Zoe is the daughter who was bullied back home because she acted in way that nobody back home liked and she only had 1 friend. Her relationship with her Dad is unknown but it's seems distant however with Mr. Bourgeois she almost immediately bonds with him and he in turns tells her all his past dreams. (Why didn't he ever tell these things to Chloe?)
From the characters in show perspective Zoe is this kind, forgiving, sweet girl who makes everything seem better (thus she has to have the bee miraculous) and Chloe is this girl who just a product of her environment of psychological and emotional abuse (by her mom) and unintentional neglect by her dad.
So even though WE have seen Chloe for the person she really is and we know that she is child who is stuck in bad situation and has no idea how to get out of it because it is all she knows and nobody ever really showed her otherwise.
Anyway my point is that neither of these characters are bad, but the way they are depicted and the reason behind their appearance on the show. Chloe deserves a chance to get better, she deserves the opportunity to atone for her mistakes. As far as Zoe since she is still relatively new I will give her a chance but so far what I've seen doesn't appeal to me.
I love you. I’ll wait for you. Come back. Come back to me.

So, my sister and Robbie were never able to have the time together they both so longed for… and deserved. Which ever since I’ve… ever since I’ve always felt I prevented. But what sense of hope or satisfaction could a reader derive from an ending like that? So in the book, I wanted to give Robbie and Cecilia what they lost out on in life. I’d like to think this isn’t weakness or… evasion… but a final act of kindness. I gave them their happiness.

was it a sin to love you in our last lifetime my love, for which I am atoning for in this one?

How successful were you in drowning your sister?
This text is inspired by a meme I saw on Pinterest.
“My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.”

“In joy or sadness, flowers are our constant friends. We eat, drink, sing, dance, and flirt with them. We wed and christen with flowers. We dare not die without them. We have worshipped with the lily, we have meditated with the lotus, we have charged in battle array with the rose and chrysanthemum. We have even attempted to speak in the language of flowers. How could we live without them? It frightens one to conceive of a world bereft of their presence.”

I'll never stop loving you.
Not even when your body is completely decomposed underground,
Not even if there isn't a single particle of you in the air, not even if there isn't a mere glimpse of what you once were,
I'll never stop loving you.
