My house was destroyed and I lost my job and everything we had in this country. I feel great pain writing for you, as I have to start this campaign to save myself and my people from this human disaster. We live in harsh conditions, and we only have hope after being displaced several times from our home. Now, we are fighting for the most basic necessities to survive - drinking food and water.. Imagine with me that you wake up every day and don't know how to get a meal for your kids. Imagine the anxiety that grips you as you try so hard to protect your family from hunger and thirst. Tonight the occupation bombed the area that it claimed was safe and where we were staying with 5 missiles, which led to the destruction of the tents of the displaced and the killing of children and severe injuries and amputations for most of them!!
Help us people, help us if we are not able to stop the war, help us go back and get another tent to replace the one that was destroyed, help us get food and drink for my children, help us even get gas to replace the fire that destroyed my mother's chest!

What happened today in Al-Mawasi is one of the scenes of the blatant injustice that our Palestinian people have experienced for years, where innocent lives are taken away and dreams are buried under the rubble. I saw with my eyes how simple tents turned to ashes, and how women and children were the biggest victims of this aggression. You, with your donations, are not just material supporters, but you are part of the story of resistance and steadfastness. You are the hands that extend to lift families from under the rubble, and the hearts that beat with hope for children who lost everything. I am Ahmed Halas from the besieged North Gaza, I have created my campaign to help my family and save them from the suffering they are living. Our lives, hopes and ambitions have been destroyed, our livelihood has been destroyed, we have lost dear friends and many relatives, our house has been completely destroyed, we live in a plastic tent in the middle of an UNRWA school and we suffer from the heat of the sun which causes headaches, migraines, body allergies and many diseases. There is no food, water, medicine or basic life requirements and the prices are terribly high, we cannot afford to buy anything.
In the meantime, this fundraising campaign has been started so that people can donate so that we can regain momentum in case the unfortunate circumstances cannot be fixed. Ahmed Halas and his family have already registered and are likely to be called to leave soon. This money is for their evacuation. Let's aim to evacuate them all together!!!

Hello, I am Ahmed from the Gaza Strip, I am still alive after ten months of war. This is my fifth war too. But this war is unlike any other. I am trying to raise money for me and my family, as we are determined to leave to safety while this disaster continues. We want to leave the Gaza Strip towards Egypt through the Rafah crossing and Hala Company.
This was a very difficult decision for me, but this is my fate and the fate of my family. I feel ashamed to ask you to donate enough to save me and my family of 20, most of whom are young children, by raising enough money to reach safety. Father Fathi suffers from heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, and son Mahmoud suffers from back and cartilage pain, which is why he does not have a medical mattress due to sleeping on the floor, which makes him feel severe pain.
Oh my God, what happened to us, I lost my memories and dreams that I have dreamed of for a long time, my house where I lived my childhood, nothing remained inside it, it was a pile of fire, and I lost my source of livelihood and my baby clothes store was completely destroyed, which led to the accumulation of debts that I was committed to from merchants that I obtained a few days before the current wave of war.

Muhammed has two sons, Zaen and Yehya. He and his family have been displaced nine times and live in unbearable conditions. They are currently in Rafah, constantly afraid of invasion.
Since my last update, this campaign has raised another €1,491. This puts them at €4,693 out of €25,000; great, but not enough.

I was diagnosed in February 2019 after being very sick and I weighed 88 lbs. For the last two and a half years I have had to inject insulin 4+ times for day every day, to stay within my blood glucose level.
In December 2020 I was hospitalized and had to have emergency surgery where I had to stay at home for the entire period of my illness without working, and I also had DKA aka Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.
Diabetic ketoacidosis develops when your body cannot produce enough insulin. Insulin normally plays an important role in helping sugar (glucose), the main source of energy for your muscles and other tissues, enter your cells. Without enough insulin, your body begins to break down fat as an alternative fuel. This process produces a buildup of toxic acids in the bloodstream called ketones, eventually leading to diabetic ketoacidosis if left untreated.
Three months later in March 2021 I finally got to see an endocrinologist, who specializes in Type 1 Diabetes. Who told me that an insulin pump would be a good device for me?
This device you see is exactly what is needed to control my diabetes.
I was recently approved for an insulin pump that will help me better control my diabetes. Although I am happy that I am approved the hardest part is coming up with the funds to pay for the pump and equipment.

We all considered Khaled to be like an older brother to Ahmad. He was close to all of us, but he held a special place in Maryam’s heart she loved him dearly, and he loved her just as much.
Exactly one month ago and on the morning of April 3rd, Maryam asked my father if she could go visit Khaled. She missed him and wanted to play with the children her age in his neighborhood.He agreed. She went on her way, and not even a few minutes had passed before a missile struck the area she had just headed to.
In that moment, nothing else mattered to us but one question screaming in our mind : “Where’s Maryam? Is she okay?”
My father says..
I ran as fast as I could toward the site of the strike, my heart pounding in fear and panic.
When I arrived, I was shocked by the scene. Dozens of men were rushing around, carrying injured children. All of them every single one had blood covering their faces and severe injuries. I began shouting at the top of my lungs, “Maryam! Maryam! MARYAM!” until I saw her...
But my heart still wasn’t at peace. I couldn’t leave. I ran again this time toward the place I feared Khaled might have been.
With every step closer, my dread grew. “No... it can’t be him...” But when I arrived, I found Khaled’s house two stories high destroyed.
Khaled was there. After a long struggle, we managed to pull him from the rubble... but it was too late. Khaled had passed away.
Khaled is gone... and the world no longer feels the same. The earth is emptier now without Khaled.

I am continuing to work on Every Hero Needs a Villain and I am super happy to announce that I'm actually making great progress when it comes to both hero and villain descriptions. Each category has six, with each hero having a villain and vice versa. I hope I've gotten a good spattering of personalities for people to enjoy this way.
Here's a snippet from Straight Shooter's, a cowboy object head:
He can inspire a state of restfulness depending on the color of his scarf. Red is for physical restfulness, purple is mental restfulness, blue is emotional restfulness, green is spiritual restfulness, yellow is instinct restfulness, and sometimes he has a rare rainbow of all these colors. Yet, to do so, he too must also achieve this restfulness for himself.
