Eli sleeps on Thrawn after an exhausting week, while Thrawn defends his statement that Chiss don’t need as much sleep.
The problem with Thrawn as a villain in the Ahsoka show is that I ask myself WHERE IS ELI, ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT ELI RIGHT NOW, THRAWN? I'M THINKING ABOUT ELI RIGHT NOW.
And also how are his people? Is Ar’alani safe? Where’s Wutroow? Is Che’ri safe? Are Thalias and Samakro together?
And on top of that why had Thrawn to be evil? Surely because Eli isn’t at his side.
We didn’t get to see Thrawn’s reaction to Thrass’ death, but I think he has a lot to process and may be struggling with survivor’s guilt? So here’s a somewhat broken Thrawn when reality hits him.
Also the fact that he chooses to eat his last meal in the Ascendancy at their restaurant

We never got their proper farewell so I drew one. Their friendship means so much to me, and Ar’alani’s question of whether he has it so much better in the Empire is one that gets to me every time. 🫂
