I cannot stress how important getting a diagnosis is for any mental disorder/disability (for anyone who needs it/wants it). And I also cannot stress how much of a privilege it is for people to get an official diagnosis. Self diagnosis is valid. Sincerely, a professionally diagnosed autistic person.

Guys you are never gonna believe what was immediately below this post for me

extremely underrated subgenre of tumblr post: when someone makes a general statement about something, and another person offers a counter-statement that's just completely nonsensical, and the OP just agrees instantly even if it makes no sense at all

examples:

First part of the post is by user dullanyan and says "A few weeks ago, I needed Worcestershire sauce for a recipe, but I didn't have any, so I had to leave it out. You are never gonna believe what I found in the cabinet today, unopened, probably has been there for months."
Second part of the post is by the same user. It shows a screenshot of a reply by user easel-eisal that says "A strong as fuck ice mummy?" Below that is an image of a house completely frozen over from an ice storm, covered in ice and icicles. The text below that has a pensive emoji and "Yuuuup. My house is fucked."
