But also, what are good writers of certain members of the family. And are there some I should avoid?
What’s the best way to read the comics? (Like is the app good or not.) I’ve been trying to find a way to read these comic. But there is not way in help I can get all the comics I’d want to read.

Something that always bothers me about the progressive removal of culture from the batfamily (other than the obvious) is that… if you don’t understand where Dick Grayson and his family come from, Robin makes no sense. Why would Batman, Mr. Greyscale camouflage, allow his partner and protege to dress up like a moving target? A traffic light? To understand, you have to acknowledge why he chose those colors, and what they mean to him and his family. That may have gotten lost over the years as the mantle was passed, but the original costume had meaning to a grieving child.
I rlly wna get into the batfam but it's lowk intimidating and I don't have the money to buy the comics. All ik is Red Hood is Jason Todd who unfortunately died and came back a little bit off. Oh and Nightwing has a fat ass.

ok consider this: au where dick gives jason robin… but does not stop being robin also. two robins. which flavor did you get, extra flippy or statistically more likely to kick you in the nuts than anywhere else? tim gets adopted? also robin. steph is robin when she feels like it. jason, resurrected, puts on a completely different suit and becomes robin… 2, the redux? robin 2.1? robin 5? damian gets adopted. who's he gonna steal robin from? surprise, bitch, there's four robins and you also get to be robin! cass is robin. duke is robin. alfred has to emergency medivac someone in one of the backup cars, his regular getup, and a domino. someone asks who he is and he answers "robin" in perfect deadpan. bruce is the only one who doesn't get to be robin and he's not sad about it, everyone, please take this seriously.

Me: nah my favorite robin is Jason Todd, but something about a small kid with anger issues makes me happy
Worker: yea I can understand that, I would love to see Bruce Wayne’s kid at his full potential
Me: definitely he has had some bad writers but this (points to boy wonder) has been the best

Koriand’r: Her parents sold her into slavery to save her home planet. THEN her Dad call her home only to say the enslavers have left BUT Tamaran is about to break out into civil war and they NEED her to marry some guy she’s never met. Even though she was dating Dick and her FATHER WAS AWARE BUT DIDN’T CARE. He pressured her into a union she didn’t want and she lost her lover because he refused to be a side piece to a married woman. Also her sister sucks.
Raven: Her dad is literally a rock in her head, AKA Trigon. Say less.
Garfield Logan: His father experimented on him, saving his life but turing him green and giving him powers. Then his parents promptly drowned in a river. Then he went through foster care. Brought into the Doom patrol and raised by yet another emotionally constapated father figure.
Victor Stone: Mom? Dead. Dad? Scientist who saved his life after an accident, but turned his own kid into a half robot. Painfully. And against his will. He couldn’t play the sports he loved anymore and he felt like a freak.
Joseph Wilson: His dad is the reason he is Mute. He comes from the most dysfunctional family in DC, with his dad being an assassin for higher who wants to kill all of Joey’s friends. An older brother who died, and a sister who his dad pretends doesn’t exist. His dad is “Death Stroke.” Say less.
Donna of Troy: Parents? Nope. She was saved from a house fire by wonder woman who brought her to live with the Amazons.

I actually really like the Discowing suit!
I didn't realize that this suit was call Discowing by the fans till recently and disliked by many. Though, I do understand why some people don't like it!
Maybe I'm just nostalgic because New Teen Titans "Judas Contract" was the first DC comic I ever read 🤷♀️

Bruce turns around revealing Titus dressed in a Robin outfit that fits him perfectly. Ace is beside him in full Bathound armor.
Bruce: “…”
Damian: “…”
Bruce: “I also made an extra set of Bathound armor for him…”
Damian: “and you did all this without me?!“
Do you think Bruce is one of those dads who hears their kid mention needing or wanting this thing and he just continuously buys that thing for them.
Like Dick complained about how he doesn’t have enough colorful or fun socks once and Bruce will still give him new socks every once in a while. Dick said that when he was 12!
Damian mentioned wanting colored pencils to practice art with and now he had a tub of them. They aren’t even the same brand Bruce just keeps buying whichever one is highly rated by people online at any given moment.
Cass mentioned like one specific Barbie she wanted cause she wanted to make a joke with Barbra (the Barbie had red hair and Cass was gonna make it look like her as an Oracle action figure) and now she has one of the biggest collections in the world. Like she appreciates it but she has no where to put all these Barbies!

Something that Tim Drake “superfans” need to learn how to accept is that the batfam doesnt revolve around Tim and Tim can and has done wrong. Coming from a Tim fan myself, this has been a huge issue in the batfam fandom and it plays a lot into other characters mischaracterization.
Yes, Bruce trained Tim a little harsher than the others, but that was after his son was brutally murdered. Bruce was trying to keep Tim safe.
Yes, Damian attacked Tim, but before that, Tim made fun of Damian and borderline insulted him before they even knew each other.
Yes, Jason did attack Tim in Titans Tower, but Jason had also believed that he had been replaced and discarded the moment he died.
Yes, Dick gave Robin to Damian, but in Dicks eyes, Tim was spiraling and cracking under his grief and couldnt be Robin anymore for his own mental health.
No, Dick didn’t threaten to send Tim to Arkham.
No, Jason didn’t ever call Tim Replacement (it was pretender, which is arguably worse but okay).
No, Damian is not a heartless creature who only wants to remove Tim.
Call Tim a sad coffee obsessed boy or whatever you want, but don’t butcher other characters just to put him on a pedestal.

its been years Ive felt this way and this is so random but i hate robin and starfire together. In every universe they have too much in common and usually limit each others growth. Star would have been very interesting if she was allowed to have her own developed mythos but she's been spread around mainly Richard's mythology and thats kind of barf. Kinda glad she stayed in the drafts in young justice like she deserves way better. Mgann ccould of been the perfect villain for them but they turned her into a housewife basically I imagine they'd do something similar for Kori. A race of Melanated warrior cat people that love freely is literally art .She was one of the best characters in injustice basically a new age wonder wonder. DC could have done so much with her. Nd richard is cool I just think this writers also haven't branched him out properly. I LOVED TITANS dont get me wrong specifically the 1st 2 seasons but I feel like it either should of gave him a spinoff or something cause he is way too interesting to just be that guy in a dozen relationships because he has attachment issues. Love them but i do feel and always have felt the storyline between them limit them I always wondered when or if Kori could be with someone from her own planet the idea just never came up in canon besides her sister and maybe another sibling I don't believe she's ever been shown amongst her kind, but she instead has been routinely objectified but rarely for her own benefit or character arc just another arm candy for the bat boys. There is way more she can do.
