This is one of my favorite recent pieces that Tumblr hasn't seen yet, so I thought that I'd upload it here, too! A little interpretation of a humanized Fluttershy and Discord, because I am soft for them. âș

Anyway here is my fav character humanised cuz i just love my chaos noodle.

All this time I was in the MLP fandom growing up back when Friendship is Magic was still going and I never drew Discord! Well I have finally changed that!
Discord's first mistake was in thinking they'll listen to reasons.
I finally got time to finish this silly lil comic!

Bro is leafing.
Discord has one of the best redemption arcs I have ever seen. Everything that drives him is the true and honest kindness he received from Fluttershy from the very beginning. She gave him genuine friendship that he didnât have to fight for, unlike with the other mane 6. Donât get me wrong, their wariness and distrust was 100% valid. Especially considering how discord betrayed them more than once after his initial redemption. But this betrayal is exactly what I love most about his growth. It wasnât instantaneous. He didnât immediately change into a good person or a good friend, He lapsed back into his bad habits and his old lifestyle because that is where he felt safe. He didnât know how to be a good friend. And certainly didnât know the first thing about changing. But he worked to become better anyway. Despite his poor choices, Fluttershy stuck by his side as he worked to turn himself around and break away from the lifestyle he used to rely on.
It is such a real representation of what it takes to change. Mistakes, grace from those around you, and most importantly, it takes time. The writers captured all of this and more while still staying true to the whimsy and the chaos that makes Discord who he is. I love this show.
Never stop My Little Pony bc wtf.
This has nothing to do with anything, but y'all seen those comics with Discord being really 'old' with the long grey hair, at like a point well past Fluttershy's death. Well imagine instead if after her death, he asked Twilight to turn him back to stone for eternity because he wouldn't be able to live life without her. And then at some point during G3, they had heard about how much of a good person Discord was and unturned(?) him from stone and he has to deal with life without Fluttershy?
Does anyone know how to remove discord from my computer?

More redesigns!!!! Villains this time
Nightmare Moon was more just an obligation to design because Iâm redesigning everyone. But I donât rlly think that she could use any improvements- sheâs my favorite design in the whole show for sure.
Discord is one of my fav characters but I donât like how they make him walk on two legs all the time. I liked it more in his earlier episodes when he would just kinda float around.
But hereâs Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis and Discord!

Discord and Fluttershy from My Little Pony
I love your Swap Six AU! World-building question (also because I love him), who reforms Discord in the AU? Sunny Rays is technically the closest thing to our Fluttershy equivalent (at least thatâs what I understand from her being the Element of Kindness/Empathy), but Ginger Gold has the ability to communicate with animals like FluttershyâŠ
*shoves all the worldbuilding Discord lore in the closet for now, until I can draw it*
Regarding this Discord, I have three different routes planned for his possible redemption partner:
- Ginger Gold: She is SO different than Fluttershy that it might be interesting to see what happens if she is tasked with redeeming Discord because a lot of their relationship would change and be interesting to see the ways they impact each other but I wonder if she would have the emotional skill to reach out to someone whoâs that on the side of evil. Sheâs very headstrong and a real rip roarinâ spitfire and sheâs the rough Rainbow Dash equivalent and I donât think Rainbow Dash could have broken through to him. Theyâre not the same ponies obviously but similar enough I wonder if I can pull off justifying why theyâd click.
- Sunny Rays: It would be the most similar to Fluttershy herself redeeming it because they play similar story roles and therefore have the same element and similar strengths that would play out and make her a good choice to redeem him⊠but then I wonder if itâs a copout and a bit unfair to treat Sunny Rays as just Fluttershy again. Despite how similar they are and even how similar they are I do see them as two different ponies.
- Roseluck: Her element âElement of Inspirationâ could make sense as a way to bring out the best in Discord, theyâre two fun characters and I have a small âBeauty and the Beastâ kinda vibe in my head. Thereâs a small part of me that wants to make them into my AUâs Fluttercord. Also cause I think Rosecord/Lucky Chaos are fun ship names.
I guess you guys can reply and tell me your thoughts!!
