DnD Character Appearance: Thesilha's Dream World

So the party encountered this really powerful nymph recently while on their journey to some mountains and the only way they could continue is if they completed some trials she set out, one such trial involving having the party members live through a hallucinary dream world molded by their greatest wishes and their deepest fears. Each person had a slightly different world that they lived in but these are the dream versions of people within Ezra's dreamscape. It was very facinating designing these fictious worlds and how significant people within Ezra's life would be shaped by it (Ezra's dream was very wacky and he ended up going a bit mad throughout it all, thanks again @jesuisfinni for playing into his madness for me lolol)

A lot happened throughout this but a quick run down of the changes that happened with characters in this dream world:

Lia was a socially confident and highly respected Top Student at the Deacon College, however while she was intelligent in the ways of the arcane she could not use it or cast any spells

Garren didn't experience any of the Crystaline Curse plot that happened and never lived to be a Military Commander, instead he was just a simple man who was trying to find a job and was quick to grow attached to people (unlike his regular self who takes his sweet sweet time)

Remmy was homeless and fought to survive on the streets everyday ever since his grandparents died and the streets have not been kind to the boy, however he does still have a spark for cooking even if he rarely ever gets to do so

Annabelle (a new backstory npc and long-time friend omg) runs a lively tavern that catered to the monster-kind folks in the high street of the city Ezra grew up in instead of running a secret underground tavern because Teiflings were heavily oppressed and scrutinized

Vince and his twin brother Lee are 2 of Ezra's close friends from his teen years who were unjustly sentenced to death at 15 so in this world they got to live and grow up to be what they always wanted to be (@jesuisfinni really wanted to hammer in the tragic backstory and that's these two I guess)

I've been wanting to post some of the stuff I've done in my personal sketchbook for quite some time now but suffered from the same old ✨️"artist's perfectionism"✨️ and never thought any of them were good enough to post. So here I am, doing this now to remind myself that it doesn't matter if the drawing looks a mess and if people don't like it as much as I do, if I am proud enough that I want to showcase it then I should just do it, even if I end up the only one who thinks it looks cool 😌🙏💜

All of these were done with ballpoint pens and pastel highlighters that I take with me everywhere lolol

Characters are mostly from the DnD Campaign (Ezra the Bard, Garren the Paladin, Lia the Wizard) with a sneaky little glimpse of Junior (derpy dog boi) from the comic I'm creating 🤭

DnD Campaign Arc Art!!

So as a DM, I will sometimes give myself extra work by creating Arc Arts or "Book Covers" (the campaign is split into books cause it a bit long whoops). Most times I did it on a whiteboard but here is one I started and never finished on my computer (I gave up colouring as you can clearly see 😅💅✨️)

This is actually from quite some time ago (like Book 5 and the campaign is now on Book 7) and it was when the party were navigating through a supposedly haunted manor in the middle of some snowy mountains that they didn't know until later was home to a family of Yetis (Yetis that were out hunting for food for their baby, who was still within the Manor while the party was there 👀💧).

Date Night Outfits!!

So after what felt like yearssssss (but was like a couple months in-game time) of these two pining for each other, they finally went on a date!! 🥳🎊

It was a short but sweet date filled with berries, wine, hugs, kisses and dog puke 🥰🤮 But hey, at least Garren got to have a good first date with Ezra before having to go on literally the worst date of his life (due to contractual reasons) with one of the most evil NPC's I've made this campaign 🥲🤌

Quick DnD Modern!!AU Sketch

So my player @jesuisfinni approached me with a concept of what the party might do in a more modern setting and how their character might look in that setting and I just had to draw something from it because it's has been living in my mind rent free for weeeeeeeeeks.

Did a fun collab with @jesuisfinni where I drew and lined a moment from the DnD Campaign we are in and they coloured it (please please p l e a s e go give them some love I was literally crying when they sent the coloured piece they are sooooooo good at art fr fr🥲🤌)

I miss playing D&D so much! It's been years, and the last time I played it, I had my campaign destroyed by a vindictive second DM that I didn't know was angry with me until it was too late (I blame my autism for somehow not reading that on them)... now that my life is more stable without vindictive assholes in it, I want to maybe try again. I found my old notes from a campaign I designed completely myself, and I'm thinking about designing a reboot or making an entirely new campaign just for fun! I missed the chaos and the silly banter, and I can't wait to revive my best character(s) and lay waste to my enemies as a druidic bard, or maybe I'll try monk or paladin again⚔️

Yo guess who's getting into DND!! Granted my friends and I are probably doing it wrong bc none of us know what we're doing but meh.

Anyway I have created chaos aka Anzora Rothenel, my chaotic neutral eladrin bard/rogue. I love her. Other guy is Herrin Faust, the other eladrin in the party who is totally done with her already.

Harmony Ravencourt (surname to Wattswrought pending fellow player approval; pronouns she/they), my trans tiefling/Aasimar Bard!

Harmony was originally made while I was still an egg and died in session 2, to the guilt of the party artificer they died trying to save. It was when said Artificer discovered a crystal/metal/fantasy material #103 that resonates with your soul, becoming as you view it, that the party realized (MANY sessions later) that she could be resurrected, and *I* realized that I’d made *her* an egg.

They’re now in recovery undergoing every trans girl’s dream: miraculously waking up herself. Well, a tad slower than *that*, but any transformation, however slow, is miraculous.💜🏳️‍⚧️🎶

Been a while since I posted anything, but here's the party for the icewind dale game I'm running :D
