A throw back to one of the best surf trips I have been involved with. Little did I know here it would be one of my last. 2.5 years ago I damaged my vestibular system (inner ear) in a surfing accident in Indonesia. I haven't stopped swaying for the past 2.5 years now, as if I've never stepped off of a boat. The medical term for this illness is Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (French terminology for - sickness from disembarkment) @mddsfoundation ... It's taken me a while to adjust to the constant swaying. Any mode of transportation (passive motion) alters the pressure in my ears and I automatically start swaying. It's been a long winded 2.5 years dealing with this issue but as I reflect, this was a great time with even greater mates! I'm pumped for future endeavours. What does the title ‘engineer’ mean to you? What is an engineer? An engineer in my eyes is a collective noun that encompasses a vast array of modern day professionals pushing the boundaries of human evolution. Still too broad for you? A common question I am met with as a professional civil/ structural engineer is ‘what is an engineer’? If you really want to know, grab yourself a cup of coffee, class is in session.
My name is Shaun Howard and i’ve been a professional engineer since June 2013. I graduated at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Australia with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. I’m from Brisbane, Australia but I don’t reside anywhere at the moment, on the hop is where I like to be. Since graduating, i’ve worked on a diverse range of projects throughout Australia within the Civil and Structural space. I’m a fitness addict, I love to travel and I love the term ‘engineering’. The illumination path is not that easy tho. When you light up everything in front of you show up some mess that you might be able now to work on. It’s not about living in light is about lightning your path. This light just come when you realize that you are living in the dark and every step that you do you need to do it(light it up) again, keep lighting the path is not “easy” or “difficult” is just how you describe it. Out thoughts can put us in a dark place as much as can light it up, been the master of your thoughts is the switch button to light up your spiritual path. No one can do that but you! All the answers the divine put in your DNA, you are your own medicine, the 100% match medicine for you is inside of you. Law of impermanence is what you see at Yin Yang symbol, black and white coexisting, light in dark and dark in light is the what you can see there. This is one of the three drawings in a series that I made some time ago, I will post the other 2 soon and possibly make more, creating them was a challenge because they are full body drawings and not just portraits with tons of detail and different textures but I wanted to try something new. I wanted to draw women who wear baggy and oversized clothes because I like to dress like this and I don’t see women like me represented in art enough so these drawings mean a lot to me

To clarify the concept a bit whenever I pass through unpleasent series of events and shit, i get attached to a specific species of animals. I watch videos of them , i follow documentaries about how Man's actions are affecting their kind, and i daydream about them a lot and a lot and consequently get emotionally attached to them :)
at 7~10 years old i was heavily attracted to the brown 🐻 watched many documentaries about dem cuties on every available animals channels. And Now -since 2019- I am more attracted to Orcas, Intelligent animals with massive mind blowing lifestyles 🖤🤍.Moreover, 👀Myths say that they lead the lost ones to their homes.🧎🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
You know but the real reason behind this drawing is that i saw an old friend picture on facebook winning a writing award and her book will gett printed... I freezed cause i was a good native writer once . I used to get full marks on writing assigments and tests been callled "Gibran Khalil Gibran" among my friends,i was able to put alll my thoughts on papers without hestiation or fear. And now i am worthless looser that can scribbles and barely make decent works . I wanted to do something that i only will understand featuring the differences about my life when i was 10 years old and when i turned 20 today
