What's this? Cover art to shamelessly promote my Locklye enemies to lovers fic? Yes, yes it is.
Summary: Lockwood and Co. has always been a quaint little agency. They might not be very well known, but the trio of Anthony Lockwood, George Cubbins and Holly Munro have always worked together well, and nothing could ever disrupt the little family they've made. But when they get unexpectedly paired with an independent agent who's unusually good at pushing Lockwood's buttons, they realize things may not stay the same after all.
Lockwood and Co Big Bang 2023!
We're excited to announce the first post-show Lockwood and Co Big Bang event!
A Big Bang teams up authors and artists to create new content for the fandom, and cheerleaders to help them along the way! Artists will create accompanying art for each fic, authors will write a fic of 5k words minimum (there are stages to this, more info to follow!) and cheerleaders will beta read and provide encouragement. We will also be accepting signups for reserve agents, who will be able to step in at the last minute should something happen and a team be left incomplete.
Signups will start on the 20th June and end on the 7th July, and we're looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
The link for signups can be found here (but the form won't be open before the 20th), and if you want more information about the event our rules and schedule will be posted asap, and asks are open if you have any immediate questions!!
The posting date for all the works is pencilled in to start on the one year anniversary of the show, 27th January, 2024.

June 1st-Trend it on YouTube
On June 1st We are going to trend Lockwood & Co on YouTube.
At the beginning of you day open the playlist, hit play and then hit Loop Playlist. You can mute the sound on top of the tabs depending on your browser. Check on it periodically to click the still watching button and that it's still on the playlist.
Make positive comments on the videos with #savelockwoodandco. Like and reply to other comments.
Finally- Ask YouTubers to react to watching Lockwood & Co.
Ask them the question- Would you Renew or Cancel?
The play list is just two videos-the trailer and the interview where they talk about future seasons. Together they are a little over 5 min; so on loop they will play about 5-6 times an hour.

(Sorry if this isn't coherent, I started watching it like, the second it was released, went to bed around 1 in the morning and only just woke up now) (its 10 in the morning)
I WAS RIGHT. IT WAS BLOODY STUNNING.
The one bit that I was a bit upset with about it being different from the books is when Lucy has Skully look in the mirror, because the whole 'Oh no, something happened to him and now he won't talk' thing happens in the last book, so I'm just wondering how they're going to make that work in the next season or two.
I'm also really happy that Lockwood and Lucy didn't kiss, because they don't in the books, and it's a big part of their character development.
IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SHOW AND I CAN'T WAIT TO REWATCH IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
LOCKWOOD & CO COMES OUT TOMORROW AT 7 PM(for me). I AM SO INCREDIBLY NORMAL ABOUT THIS.
LOL NAH. TOMORROW IS GONNA BE SPENT FINDING EVERY SINGLE BLANKET AND/OR PILLOW THAT I OWN AND PILING THEM UP ON THE COUCH.

God, how time goes.
Let's just say that I'm kinda ashame of finding out this word just a few months ago, but I'm glad I did.
To celebrate, I made a PowerPoint that one day, I hope, will be presented to Netflix and will persuade 'em to continue this series.
The bad thing is that I do not know how to post it here.

seeing lockwood & co. work after seeing kipps and his team work is very funny because with each other lucy, lockwood, and george seem fairly sane but as soon as they encounter any professionals it becomes EXTREAMLY clear they're all completely feral

and now imagine what happens when lucy joins them. we all know that she makes lockwood act even more stupid to impress her so imagine the chaos that will ensue.
Imagine the first time George came to the archive with Lockwood. The archivists would have been so excited to see George again because they would have feared he would have left the industry after getting fired only to realise now he comes to visit with a maniac who puts his feet up on the desk.
in general, I loved how the actors chose to play the characters. lockwood being a bit more obviously reckless and suicidal. lucy obviously still struggeling with how her mother treated her (mostly obvious with the "asset" storyline. In general, this show just added a little bit of spice to the characters and I love it.
Ali is bringing so much neurodivergence to George’s character, and l’m OBSESSED.
I always read him as a blunt person who just doesn’t mind being a dick, but like,,, when you add it to how Ali delivers his lines and doesn’t make eye contact— like he is making the choice to play George as autistic coded and have researching be his special interest and I just love that 😭

lockwood& co show rant incoming so spoiler warning!
I really miss the funny parts of the book but at the same time I like how they made it a bit darker. it just made the stakes a bit higher.
ALSO THE PART AFTER THEY JUMPED INTO THE RIVER AND IT LOOKED LIKE LOCKLYLE WOULD KISS AND THEN LUCY SHOVED HIM AWAY OMFG GO OFF GIRL!!!
I also love the way they made lockwood be a bit more obviously struggeling. I thought people being more aware of him being suicidal really fit the characters.
I'm a bit worried that they'll make a love triangle between lucy, lockwood and kipps (altho I used to have a headcanon that kipps used to have a crush on lockwood but that's another story). maybe the kipps asking lucy out for coffee was just a way for him to manipulate her but if this is gonna be another typical ya show with a love triangle it will probably suck lol.
but all in all, it was suprisingly more accurate to the book than I expected! I was so scared that they would mash all of the books into one season but now I'm really scared that they won't make another season. so yes, stream lockwood and co!!!
if they don't renew this show I will fucking sue.
