One-Shot: You have so many requests but if you have the time could you maybe write a Zach Mitchell one shot where it’s just a normal day at the park and you and Zach are supposed to watch Grey but Owen doesn’t like the idea of you two doing it because you are dating. But you do it anyways and end up losing Gray while like flirting or being all lovey dovey and they have to find him somewhere? I love your one shots and imagines awhh Announcements: I hope you all enjoy this one! It was fun to wright. Warnings: None, I’m pretty sure. Maybe mild language, it depends on who you are.
Crap.
Oh crap.
Crrraaaaap.
Hmmm, yeah… no. This is not a good thing that is happening at this very moment in time. You and your boyfriend, Zach, were supposed to be looking after his little brother, Gray. And, well… as you had said, crap. He was gone. Off into the great big sea of tropical shirts and fanny packs.
You should have listened to Owen, he told you and Zach that it might have not have been the best idea to watch Gray since you and Zach were dating. And as always he was correct. But, as they say, hindsight is 20-20. You tore at your hair with anxiety and started looking around franticly and
“Zach, Zach, we need to tell someone, ok? We need to tell someone and then they can help find him and-”
Zach grabbed you lightly by the shoulders, “Hey, hey, calm down, ok? It’s not like he can stay lost for very long. And we don’t need to tell anyone, ok? My mom would kill me and then my aunt. I can not be responsible for another persons death. Now, lets go,” and with that, you began to walk around, calling Gray’s name.

It all started about an hour ago. It was a normal day for Jurassic World, sweaty park goers and screaming children. Claire had been called in to work suddenly and Owen was busy with his Velociraptors so she had asked Zach and you to watch over Gray. Owen really didn’t think it was a good idea because the two of you had been long distance dating and finally, after months, had gotten to see each other in person again after your father, Owen had gotten this job.
“C'mon, dad. It’s just for one day, and besides, whats so bad about us watching Gray.”
Owen sighed, “Because, you are a couple of in love teenagers that are gonna get distracted and lose him.”
You groaned, “I promise we won’t be that distracted, plus, you have to go to work so…”
He din’t say anything for a moment, “Fine, just don’t lose the kid please.”
You smiled in victory, “I promise. Now bye!”
“Bye,” he said, unconvinced.

A few minutes later you had met up with Zach and Gray and went off to see a few of the animal exhibits, Gray geeking out and Zach and you staring longingly into each others eyes. At least thats what it seemed like. Right now you were freaking out and couldn’t remember of the details. The three of you were sitting around the fountain near the entrance to take a break. You do vaguely remember Gray asking for the two of you to hurry up so they could go see more dinosaurs, but again, Zach and you were lovey doveying up the place.
“I really missed you,” you said.
“I missed you too,” he replied.
After a minute of you two catching up, you looked around and noticed that there was a Gray shaped hole in the immediate area around you.
You tapped Zach’s arm, “Hey, where is Gray? Wasn’t he just here?”
“You sure? Maybe he just went to the bathroom or something.”
“No, now that I think about it, I haven’t seen him in a couple minutes.”
The two of you realized what happened and looked at each other slowly, “Crap.”
—-
And now here you were, the two of you were looking for the smaller boy and yelling his name around the park. You went to each of the exhibits, even to the small petting zoo, but you couldn’t find him.
You looked over at Zach, who was looking more worried by the minute, “Hey, you said, its gonna be ok. We’ll find, him, I mean, it’s not like he could have gotten eaten by anything. Heck, maybe he’s in the lost and found?”
He sighed and looked over at you, “We’ve already looked there, remember?”
“Yeah, I know. Oh, uh, what about the Rex exhibit? We haven’t checked there, right?”
“Yeah, right. Lets go.”

Zach and you squinted in the low light, looking around people and trying to not be distracted by the goat outside the observatory being devoured. You tried sorting through the sounds, trying to hear the familiar voice of Gray. All of a sudden, Zach grabbed your hand and led you to the front of the crowed. You instantly let out a breath of relief as you saw the shaggy blond head of Gray.
“There you are, you little squirt!” Zach yelled over the tells of delight from the crowed, “You can’t just disappear like that, we were worried.”
The three of you made your way to the back of the crowed to have a bit more privacy, “We’ve been looking everywhere for you,” you began, “Why did you just run off?”
The younger Mitchell looked down, “I told you I was leaving. It was you two that didn’t listen because you were too busy with yourselves.”
Zach and you looked at each other in guilt, “We’re sorry, Gray. We just haven’t seen each other in a very long time and, well, we got a little distracted. I’m sorry,” you said.
Zach stepped in a moment later, “Yeah, sorry. I promise that we’ll stop being completely distracted, ok? But you can’t ever run off again, ok? Also, we’re not gonna tell mom, or Aunt Claire, ok?”
You cut in quickly, “Or my dad. Ever. We gotta pinkie promise.”
Zach smiled over at you, “Yup. It’s our little secret.”
The two of you looked hopefully down at Gray, who squinted at the both of you, “Fine, but I get half of your souvenir money and the employee discount.”
“Deal,” Zach and you said simultaneously.
He smiled deviously and stuck out his pinkie, then Zach, and then you, shaking on it while the T-Rex let out a huff from outside.
Pinkie promises are no joke.
One-Shot: Is it ok to request a one shot based off an existing imagine (secretly dating Zach and having your father Owen find out)? Thank you, great blog :) Announecements: I realize I am a bad person and I’m so sorry for not posting for so long again. But I love you all my precious peoples! Please enjoy :-) Warnings: None
“Alright Y/N, I’m heading out to work, try not to die while I’m out!”
You chuckled to yourself and shouted back down the hall, “No promises! Bye dad!”
You paused and listened, hearing the front door shut and your dad, Owen, start up his old motorcycle and leave. You hurried, got showered, dressed, and put your shoes on before making your way out of the Bungalow. Grabbing your bike you started to make your way to the docks.
Before you had come to the island you had met Zach and one thing led to another and boom, relationship. It had been a struggle ever since your father had gotten his really super cool job at Jurassic World and had to move to the island but miraculously, the both of you had stayed in contact. But, because your father was so protective, there really was no choice but to keep the relationship a secret. You pushed back the slight sadness of having to lie to your dad as you started thinking about today. Today was the day that Zach and his little brother, Gray, were coming to Jurassic World for a vacation and to visit their Aunt Claire. To be honest, this was the greatest coincidence ever. You stashed your bike at the usual place and walked into the bustling crowed of vacationing families, looking back and forth for the other teenagers.
Finally, you saw the disgruntled looking face of your boyfriend and the happy face of his brother, “Hey guys! Over here.”
Their heads snapped up and over to your position, immediately both of them started to smile.
“Y/N!” Zach said, walking up and hugging you.
Wow, you thought, this is your first hug from him in a long while. You forced yourself from him in fear that you would just stay there forever and placed your hands on your hips.
“C'mon,” you said, smiling, “I’ll show you to the hotel and then we can get you some VIP passes. Courtesy of my boss, your awesome aunt.”
The two boys shared a glance and turn their attention back to you.
“It’s really nice to actually see your face and not through a computer screen, Y/N,” Zach said, “Ive missed you so much.”
You softly pecked him on the cheek and then looked him in his soft, warm eyes, “I’ve really missed you too. And hey! Now we have a whole bunch of time to spend together! At least the days my dad is at work which is most of the time so-”
“Wait,” Zach interrupted, “I thought that you had told your dad.”
You grinned guiltily, “It might have slipped… ok, I didn’t tell him. But it’s not because I’m ashamed of you or anything! It’s just that, well, if he found out I really don’t know how he’d react.” You looked down at your shoes, “I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry, I don’t want you to have to lie to your dad, you should tell him at some point.”
“I know, I know, and I will, ok? Maybe once you’re safely off the island and a couple hundred miles out.”
He smiled softly and wrapped his arms around your shoulders, “Sounds good.”
You chuckled and turned your attention over to Gray, who had, for some odd, unknown reason, lost interest in the date talk.
“You ready to go see some dinosaurs?”
The smaller boy perked up instantly, “Finally! Now c'mon! We’re wasting daylight,” and with that, he began to jog ahead of you.
“He just sucks the energy right out of ya and uses it for his own purposes, doesn’t he?” Zach asked.
You laughed again, “C'mon, grumpy Gus,” And began pulling him in the direction of the hyper-active child.

It was around the time after the T-Rex exhibit, that Gray finally asked, “Hey, Y/N?”
You looked over at him, “Yeah?”
“What does your dad do on the island?”
You shrugged a little bit, faking boredom, “Oh, y'know, he just trains a pack of wild Velociraptors, the normal stuff, I guess,” You smiled when you saw his face light up with wonder.
“Ooh, really? Can we go see them?”
Your smile dropped a bit, “Oh, um, I don’t know if…” you trailed off as you saw that look of excitement drop off his face, it broke your heart. No kid needs to have their dreams snuffed out, even if they involved sneaking around your fathers workplace with your contraband boyfriend.
“I don’t know if I can wait! Lets go,” you finally said, after sighing.
Zach looked over at you with a surprised look on his face, expecting you to say something different, “Are you sure? I thought that your dad didn’t know about us, really, we don’t have to go.”
You looked over at him with a nervous smile, “Ahh, what the heck? We’ll just need to do a bit of sneaking, and if we get caught then I’ll just say I’m giving you guys a private tour cause you’re the boss’ nephews. I’m sure everything will go ok.”

The three of you stood just towards the edge of the jungle before the gigantic clearing the held the large arena for the Raptor training.
“Ok,” you said, and began pointing out specific places, “We’ll just run over behind that crate over there, and then over to that little alcove just over there and wait there for a little bit until they start doing something with the Raptors, got it?” After seeing them nod you continued, “Remember, if anyone asks who you are, you’re with me, alright? Alright, lets go,” and took off towards the crate.
Once the boys got there you looked around again and dashed off towards the ground level viewing area, and stepped to the side to catch your breath. The boys got there and only moments later you heard the familiar sound of the big gates sliding open and the sound of a pig’s squealing becoming louder.
You motioned them to crouch down, “Ooh, hey, its about to start. C'mon!”
The three of of you watched in awe as the four, sleek, reptilian bodies came into view, their lethality showing in their movements. Gray had his mouth wide open, and even Zach looked slightly excited.
“And we’re moving!” You looked up, squinting against the harsh sun, and smiled.
Your father started walking across the cat-walk, clicking the little think in his hand and speaking to the pack of Velociraptors.
Finally, after about a minute, “And, go!”
You smiled wider, “Go dad!” you whispered under your breath.
“That was awes-” Gray began.
“Shhh!” Zach and you hissed at the same time.
“Sorry,” he mumbled.
You glanced around quickly and stood up, “Ok guys, time to go, lets hur-”
“Who are you? You’re not supposed to be- Y/N? What are you doing here? And who are you two?”
You froze and tensed up, “Hey, dad.”
Standing up fully you turned around and grimaced, “Um these two are, um, Claire’s’ nephews. She was wondering if I could, take, them… on… a private-”
“I don’t care if the president wanted you to take someone on a private tour. You know you’re not supposed to be here without my permission and someone to supervise you!”
He turned to Zach and Gray, looking sternly at the both of them, “Now the three of you need to leave right now, got it?”
The two of them shook their heads quickly while you sighed and looked down.
“Now, who are the two of you again?” He asked.
You started answering for them, but was cut off, by a terrified Zach, “I’m a boyfriend- I mean, their boyfriend, I mean, no, I’m not, oh god just shut up, I-”
You looked at him in disbelief, mouth slightly ajar.
“Excuse me?” Owen asked quietly, “What did you just say. Cause it sounded like you just said-”
“He’s my boyfriend, dad, and, it’s been going on for a couple months now and I just didn’t tell you because I knew you would over-react and… I’m sorry.”
You swear you could see the man’s eye twitch, “Wha- I just- why would you- I- Wow.”
You started to worry, you thought that he was maybe having a stroke or a heart attack, or something, “I’m sorry, dad, but I love him and I didn’t know what to do.”
Your father said what you were thinking at the exact same time you thought it.
“You’re grounded.”
